Unit was clean, bed comfortable. Pool sparkling clean. Friendly staff.kitchen was super convenient and saved us money on food.

This is an excellent choice. It is on a very busy street and there is no desk. Otherwise it is a very fine place to stay.

We LOVED our stay at Varsity Club of America in Tucson, AZ. One of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept on.The size of the unit was great, the pool was in a beautiful setting, and the service was wonderful! I hope we get to return to Tucson someday and we will certainly choose Varsity Club for our stay!

We stayed for five nights while visiting family who live nearby. The suite set-up was perfect for us. We settled right in and enjoyed having a base camp that included a pool and hot tub. The kitchen is great, and being able to open the windows at night was a treat. A very comfortable setting for our vacation.

excellent location, very clean, the bed and pillows, I love. Quiet. Close to everything.

It was a good experience for all four of us. The suite had everything we needed for a 3 day stay. Of course it was clean as a whistle.

Great Hotel, room was awesome. Staff was friendly. Easy to get around from and to hotel to different locations. Highly recommend it, would stay there again.

We have stayed at this hotel many times in the past few years. We always love our stay. The only problem we had was road noise because our room was right on the street. Will definitely stay again.

I would definitely recommend to stay there. i was in Tucson for 7 days working and loved coming "home" to Varsity. great staff too.

the Varsit Club is a well thought out hotel, it was comfortable, clean and well run.

Varsity Clubs of America in Tucson is well kept, tidy and maintained by excellant staff who care about this hotel. This location is convenient where public transportation can access most tourists attractions. Hotel staff is polite and efficient. We spent five days here and enjoyed everything about Tucson.

Realizing upon arrival that it's located at the intersection of two very busy streets, I asked for an inside room, but was told none were available. Clerk said she had never had any complaints about noise on the street side rooms. Turns out motorcycles are very popular in Tucson, I guess because they can drive them year around. One roared by at least […] every hour all nite. Was like they were in the room. They should hand out earplugs. Don't stay there unless you're guaranteed an inside room. Mehr

Excellent in all ways: location, service, rooms, facilities, cleaness.

Overall this hotel is very nice. I didn't like the fact that you only get housekeeping every 3 or in our case 4 days. Also, housekeeping was vacuuming next room at 8:30am Sunday morning. Would have been nice to sleep in on a Sunday morning. Staff was very friendly, kitchen was well stocked with utensils and appliances. Overall was very nice.

I was just expecting a clean bed and shower so image our surprise when we found a kitchen and living room. The pool and hot tub was a great way to end our days and we will be using this hotel again when we come back this way.

I have stayed here before, and I will stay here again. The grounds are well kept and clean, the staff is very friendly, and our room was extremely nice. I really like the fact that it has a kitchen, so that we can fix our own breakfast, as well as a late nite snack, if we so desire. My wife and I enjoy staying here for a lot of reasons but these are […] the main ones. And I will say it again, we will stay here again if the chance arises. Mehr

we were given a Handicapped room with a terrible shower. The hotel was not filled - we checked. I let the front desk know they should let the guest know it is a handicapped room and offer a regular room if available. Otherwise, the say was fine.

The rooms have full fridge and kitchen accommodations. The bath is a nice deep jetted tub. The work out room has showers with soap shampoo and the hotel will supply work out towels and pool towels.

Lots nicer than I thought it would be. 3 Star for sure, maybe 4.

Not the best neighborhood... otherwise appeared clean, and certainly plenty of room.

This is a great spot for visiting parents. Pool is great too. No for or restaurant though

After reading the reviews, I was a little concerned, however, the hotel was comfortable, staff was helpful, and it was a pleasant stay. I did not experience any of the problems in other reviews, and I was very satisfied. You don't get daily maid service, so I guess it all depends on how messy you are!

Had a great stay with family, including a 10 month old and a 2-1/2 year old. Toughest things were recognizing the hotel -- signage could be more prominent -- and the check-in which was a little confusing. The kitchen was great -- we had Cuisinart pots and pans, a big frig, plenty of plates, glasses, silverware, potholders, dishtowels, knives, cutting […] board, openers -- you name it. The grandkids enjoyed the Jacuzzi tub. The king size bed was extremely comfortable with premium sheets and pillows and the sofa bed wasn't too bad. Our floor was tile but other suites had carpet. Our two TVs were old school, but other suites had HD screens. I think the hotel is in the process of updating its amenities but hadn't reached our room yet. Hotel provided jumbo towels for the pool area which had plentiful lounge chairs with nice thick cushions. The front desk was very helpful when we asked about restaurants. We would stay here again. While this hotel was convenient location for University of Arizona, I found the staff to be somewhat aloof and rude. The main bed was comfortable but don't plan on having anyone on the hideabed. Ouch.

Everything was great. The staff is very friendly. Missed having the restaurant on site. It had to close, I'm guessing because of the economy.

This was a fine example of convenience meets comfort. The room was clean, well appointed and comfortable.

The location on Speedway makes places easy to get to, the staff is very helpful and made our stay more pleasant.

The room was exceptional. I was stunned to walk in and see a kitchen area w/ full size refrigerator, microwave and Cuisinart appliances (coffee maker, blender, toaster, etc.). Sort of wished that I had stopped at the grocery store and ate in every night that I was there! Towels were big thirsty towels and bathroom was spacious. Bed was very comfortable […] and the linens were soft and smelled fresh. Everything was an unexpected surprise and wish I could've stayed longer to enjoy all its amenities. Mehr

The room was very clean. A service great, they even allow late check outs with no hassle.

Varsity can be neat welcoming and a great place to stay one day and a place where trash bags are left out overnight and plumbing backs up the next. The pricing is great. although I may stay there again, I will be looking for other hotels to stay at while in Tucson.

I recently stayed at Varsity club at Tucson. I was pleasantly surprised by the amenities in the room, the size of room and the rate that was offered. I will certainly stay again at the same location. I would give it my 5 * rating.

For the price, you just cannot beat Varsity Club of America. I'll be back soon.

Our room was clean and quite nice, bigger than expected. The staff was friendly and attentive. The location was very easy to find. I would stay here again on return visits to Tucson.

We have stayed at the Varsity Club in Tucson many times through our timeshare. We were very satisfied with our stay reserved through Hotels.com. The price was very good and gave us a chance to try a studio room rather than a 1 bedroom. The room was spacious with full refrigerator in the kitchenette. It was the same facililties as a 1 bedroom, but more […] spacious feeling without the dividing wall. We would definitely stay in a studio room again. Mehr
