Lage des Hotels ist schön; allerdings gibt es in der unmittelbaren Nähe keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Kein unmittelbar nutzbarer Strandzugang; aber in der Nähe gibt es akzeptable Badestrände

This was our first trip to Hawaii and found past posts very helpful. Kahi Lani is located in a quiet area on the east side of Kauai, surrounded by Lydgate State Park. More rain on this side of the island in March, but a great walking trail and a very long sandy beach, sunrise right out our window, clean room facing the ocean made for a wonderful week-long […] stay. We picked the Ocean Front Suite option and glad we did. Nice size living room, bedroom and kitchen. Try for second or third floor for best view of the ocean. Staff was very helpful and available. From Hahi Lani it is just a short drive to south shore for more sun and snorkeling, or north to scenic areas along the coast. Swimming pool was small but very nice and warm. Palm trees and flowers all around. We found fun little shopping and eating locations in Wailua and Kapaa, all just a few minutes away. Also beautiful golf course right next door but we did not play this trip. We saw a lot of bigger and fancier places to stay, but we enjoyed the peacefulness of this location. Mehr

This condo resort was wonderful. The place was clean, the staff was friendly, and it was fully stocked. Views are terrific, location. good. There were 6 of us and we would come back anytime.

These condos are nicely furnished and very comfortable. The location is perfect, right on the beach, and near restaurants and other attractions. The staff was very friendly. We will definitely stay there again.

We booked a condo thru Hotels.com. I had originally requested a 1 bdrm, but found that they had upgraded us to a 2 bdrm (#122)on our late arrival. I liked this method, because we stayed 8 nights and have found that many individual rentals are for weekly periods only and require a damage deposit. Moreover, there was a rate drop prior to our rental date […] and Hotels.com matched the reduced rate. Anyway, the location was perfect for us and an excellent base to tour the island. It is also a short drive from the airport. The beach (very clean) is about 200 ft. outside the glass doors, but is not swimmable because of the undercurrents. Nevertheless, a sheltered swimming area is just a short walk away. The view of the sunrise is somewhat obscured by the trees on the beach, but did not detract that much. Our friends had a 2nd floor 1 bdrm(# 217) in which the view was much better. The furnishing of #122 are nicely upgraded and have granite countertops. There are several gas grills around the resort. Be sure to buy Hawaiian beef or ahi steaks to grill. We found Safeway has the best variety. There is no AC, but you really don't need one. There are alarm clocks also, but you won't need those either. (A smiley face icon goes here!) We did need a speaker phone for a conference call during our stay, and the manager was so generous to lend us their office phone for the call. Great location with beautiful view of the ocean. We will definitely come back here. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We were looking for accomodation close to the airport as we arrived late at night and found the complex to be a 15 minute drive. We were pleasantly surprised with the quiet location as the complex is surrounded by state park and golf course and located on the ocean. It was a good jumping off point for our touring the immediate area and south part of […] the island of Kauai. Staff and residents were both welcoming and friendly. After reading a few not-so-great reviews about Kaha Lani (specifically, the ones who said to ask for a quiet room) I called customer service to see if they could accomodate us. I explained that I needed a quiet, super-clean room as I have a crawling infant. They were VERY accomodating and even accepted the hotels.com price, which was about $70 cheaper […] than what they quoted me over the phone. When we got there, we were pleasantly surprised by the room - new kitchen, clean carpet, nice furniture. We paid for an "ocean view" but were given an "ocean front" and you could hear the ocean ALL through the condo - it was wonderful. Our lanai looked over a lush green yard and the ocean. We had a great time sitting/reading/playing outside. The main bathroom was the biggest problem - it was older, a little dingy, and I didn't want to kneel on the floor to bathe my infant (the kitchen sink was perfect though! And the master bath/shower were nice and clean). The bed was a little uncomfortable and the master bedroom fan wouldn't turn up to high. I complained about this upon checkout and they said they are making all the rooms this way. We live in Hawaii so we're used to the heat, but mainlanders might be too uncomfortable to sleep, especially in the summer when it's not very windy. We only stayed at Kaha Lani two nights before moving to the other side of the island and we were very sad to leave. We will definitely be back! Mehr

Castle Kaha Lani was a great place to be on our first trip to Kauai. It is centrally located so that getting to Island activities in the North or South was a breeze. The condo itself was very tastefully updated and modern. We were happy to just hang loose there. We love the ocean view from the livingroom and the sound of the waves at night. The sunrises […] and sunsets were picture perfect. We highly recommend the castle Kaha Lani Mehr

property was gorgeous and kept cleen. room had a few things i didnt like but each condo is indepenedently owned and different, so its luck of draw. these things were minor but still well worth price. my condo didnt have any handles on inseide of sliding door on shower, toaster handles kept falling off, carpet was starting to ruffle, rust on some of […] equipment no tv in bedroom only in living room which could have been a bit bigger. but i would take this condo again cause it was nice and it was clean Mehr

Stayed for 4 nights and wish we would have stayed longer instead of going to Maui. We asked to be switched to a 2 bdr with 2 queen size beds and much to our delight we were accomdated with a room right in front of the pool and ocean. We couldn't have asked for a better room. The views were amazing. While the condo is a little be outdated, it is clean […] and well kept. And there was not airconditioning, but truly it wasn't needed. Just open up all the windows and turn the fans on and you will be fine. I slept like a baby every night. A nice beach is near by, so is a golf course, although we played at other courses. Close to the Airport and not far from a grocery store. I will definitely go back when returning to Maui. Mehr

Close to the airport, a full condo for the same price as a hotel for a family of five. Great value.

We had an ocean front condo with beautiful beach views. We were concerned with the lack of A/C, but were provided with 2 fans which cooled the bedrooms considerably, aided by the trade winds. Lydgate Beach Park surrounds the property and provided great walking paths and a protected ocean swimming area. The public park aspect added a need for concern […] about security, but the property maintains cameras and we had no problems. Our condo was very clean and perfect for our needs. The staff in the office could not have been more accomodative. Mehr

We stayed at the resort for 3 nights and were very pleased. We were in Unit #117 which had a view of the ocean and the pool. If I had one complaint it would be that the freezer had a strong odor of fish inside, but it did not really make a difference. I would recommend this location and resort to anyone and hope to get a chance to stay there again.

Friendly staff and nice grounds. Unit was worn and dated. Ants, ants, and more ants. They were crawling all over the counters and we hadn't even brought any food in. I didn't complain because we were only spending 2 nights but if I was staying longer I would have definitely been unhappy.

The place was very comfortable and nice. We thought the place was done very nicely with new paint and updated appliances. We would not hesitate to stay there gain. We lost a baby blanket, and we called to see if they found it. They did find it and contacted us very quickly. We were so happy and the little child too, that the blanket was found.

The location of these condo's is great. A very easy 5 minute walk down a paved bike path brings you to Lydgate's beautiful swimming lagoon. The kids snorkeled and played there everyday and we had to drag them back to the condo for dinner and bedtime.

Stayed in unit 327, which has the best view and gets the breezes from front and side, which you will appreciate. It is very relaxing, but the unit overall needs some updating. It isn't the Hilton, furnishings/bedding are a bit worn. If you want to wake up to the sounds of the ocean, this is for you.
