Eurostars Monumental - Barcelona

Das Hotel und die Zimmer waren in einem sehr sauberen Zustand. Der Service war schnell und zufriedenstellend. Es waren nur 100 Meter bis zur nächsten Metrostation. Für einen Stätdetripp ist es sehr zu empfehlen.

Only the wifi was not good enought. Close to sagrada familia and the metro really close. Nice bed and good bath. I will return.

The hotel itself was very nice. Rooms were surprisingly large and a very nice bathroom. I had issue of hearing drunk people spanish through walls to both sides of me uncontrollably vommitting at 4-5 am in their bathrooms. At first it was hilarious but then it got really annoying. However, that was not really the hotels fault other than the walls could […] have been much more sound proofed I guess. But overall hotel is very comfortable and nice and location was not bad. A little far if you want to walk everywhere but subway is right there. Mehr

We enjoyed our stay at eurostar gaudi after we upgraded our room to the top floor which included a patio. the lower floors were a little too small for us and felt a bit claustrophobic especially because we had to keep the window closed due to the noise of traffic, but definitely good for the price. The rooms were clean. Beds were a little too hard for […] us and also the chairs. Also having a bathtub was a big plus after a long day of walking. Mehr

The location was perfect. Lots of little sidewalk cafes and little grocery stores and the metro all within a short, short walk. However, we were there the end of October and it was still hot, but the hotel air conditioning had been turned off for the season so our room was very hot. Plus, they don't provide a top sheet on the bed, just a heavy quilt. […] So the choice was to sleep without even a sheet to cover you or use the heavy quilt. We asked for a top sheet and they provided it for one night, but then never again. The breakfast was nice for a hotel breakfast, but nowhere near the price charged. And there was no water pressure in the shower. I'm not saying there was low water pressure, I'm saying there was NO water pressure. The water just trickled out of the shower. The beds were as hard as a rock. BUT.....if I were going back to Barcelona I would stay here again because of the location and the cleanliness of the hotel. Mehr

A week ago I was in the Eurostars Hotel in Rome (Via Casalina) it was amazing, but the Eurostars Gaudi is below the expectation. First night they gave us (my wife and I) a room in the building corner and it was small, and the bathroom was very old, the shower was leaking and the shower tube was scratched. and the main issue is the school next to the […] building, it was so noisy. Next day they gave us alternative room, it was ok, but still below the expectation. the location of the hotel is very good, less than one minute walking to the metro station (I liked that) The room had complemented Tea and Coffee in the room with small water heater, which is nice. This was a great choice for a hotel for me. I do not like hotels that are in the hustle and bustle of downtown but I do like close by and this hotel fit the bill. It is right at a subway stop which makes traveling around Barcelona easy. From my hotel window I could see the Sagrada Famila as it is only blocks away. Around the hotel has a great neighbourhood […] feel with small bakeries, bars and restaurants. I can't say enough good things about the location. The hotel itself is small, only six rooms per floor, which means nice and quiet. The room was a fair size, nicely decorated. The beds were comfortable but not great. The bathroom is spectacular, if only every hotel had bathrooms this nice. It was clean and house keeping did a good job. The front staff were nice but not as nice as I would have liked. I am not convinced that customer service is a strong suit in this country, much like France. If you ever have a chance to go to Japan, you will see what customer service is. Japan will always be my benchmark. Even though I am nitpicking, this is a great hotel and if I ever get back to Barcelona I will most definitely stay here again. Mehr

the hotel called a cab to take us to the train station the day we were leaving Barcelona - Aug 25. Cab was requested for 7:45AM. He drove us to station and when we arrived the meter said 12.60 Euros. We only had a 50 Euro bill. When we handed it to him the price suddenly jumped to over 20 Euros. He pushed some buttons on the cab meter and the amount […] suddenly increased. this was more than we paid for the cab from the airport which is much further away. DO NOT USE THIS CAB SERVICE IN THE FUTURE PLEASE! Mehr

Very nice for the money and very close to two metros. Within walking distance to places to see and places to be. Staff was helpful, gracious, and handled languages well. Housekeeping came very late in the day but they do everything late in the day in Barcelona. WiFi free and parking available.

Great hotel. Only a short walk from the Sagrada Familia and a short metro ride to La Rambla. Staff were very helpful during our stay. One of our suitcases didn't arrive and they offered to be in touch with the airline to ensure it was delivered promptly. Would definitely come back to this hotel.

Avoid this hotel, it is not 4* and costs to much for what you get. The single person at reception was unable to cope with multiple checkins/enquiries etc so there was always long delays at the desk. The hotel is small, pokey and has no bar/restaurant to speak of. facilities are non existant, there was one laptop with internet access in the foyet so […] you had to wait an hour to look anything up. The receptionist could not recommend a single restaurant nearby to eat, nor even the best area to go for a meal (the port area by the way). The room was small, unclean and smelled of smoking even though we booked non smoking. The television was rubbish and had few english speaking channels. I would strongly advise holiday makers to avoid this hotel. Mehr

I found the hotel staff to be polite, but not friendly. The room was nice, but the beds were not very comfortable. The room was hot and I asked to have the AC checked. Because it was a weekend there was no one from maintenance available. Someone did come the next day, but just looked at the AC and then left. I requested to be moved to a different room […] which the receptionist did do. However, that room wasn't much cooler. The hotel was only a few blocks from the Sagrada, but about 10 blocks from Las Ramblas. Mehr

My friend and I stayed at this hotel for two nights in August 2010. We arrived at the hotel around 12pm. The front desk staff was friendly. The very first question she asked was if we wanted to upgrade our room for an additional 30 euro per night. After we told her no she assigned us a room on the 1st floor (#105). The room was good, and the decor was […] nice and modern. However, the bathroom is was in bad shape. The bathroom has two sinks. On one of the sinks the hot water would not turn on, and the other sink had a continuous drip which caused a yellow stain in the sink. The mirror was very old with a brown ring around the entire edge of the mirror. The bidet was missing the nozzle, which left a rusted screw sticking out of it, but the shower was the worse! The tile was very old and needed to be pressured washed or replaced. I felt like I needed shower shoes to touch the shower floor. The handheld shower head did not mount on the wall, so you could not stand under the water, only hold the nozzle. There were 6 round pressure nozzles in the shower that water came out of, but when you turn them on the water went everywhere. You couldn’t adjust these nozzles up or down, so you either got the entire bathroom wall and door wet or used the handheld device. This hotel is very close to the Sagrada Família and about an 30 minute walk to the harbor and beach. However, I would not stay at this hotel again because of the bathroom! I felt like once we didn’t agree to upgrade we were given and older room. Mehr

Nice, clean, conviniently located near a metro. Bed was a little hard. Barcelona is amazing. Do yourself a favor and go to La Boqueria market, and have some gambas a la plancha. Its to die for.

We had a hard time finding a hotel in Barcelona because most of them allow smoking. Besides being a non-smoking property, the hotel is located in a safe neighborhood and very close to the major attractions, some of them in walking distance, as Sagrada Familia. The personnel meet the North American standards for customer service and also speak English […] very well. The wireless internet is free and fast. Mehr

Bathtub was clogged. Asked to fix it, but never fixed. Also room was too warm, no AC. Location is good, close to Sagrada familia. you can walk to get there. Metro is very close. 1 min to walk.

wonderful, comfortable, clean hotel in a great location-near Sagrada Familia. Had to take metro to get other places, but it was worth it for the quiet location.

This place is modern and cool, and the location just outside the center (but at Monumental metro) is sane but really convenient- I was glad to be there rather than in a location mobbed with tourists. It's pretty luxurious. The rooms are small but not too small. Maintenance was maybe a tiny bit lacking but nothing that mattered. Fast wifi.

Hej Servicen och bemötende i receptionen var mycket bra. Fick byta rum pga 1:a rummet på vån 1 luktade rök, det nya rummet var helt perfekt. Hälsningar Torsten

Bra läge nära flera busslinjer till stranden och centrum och mycket nära till tunnelbana. Intressanta små restauranger och frukostställen i närheten. Hotellets frukost kostade 12€ vilket är i mesta laget. Inget störande ljud från gatan pga 3-glasfönster. Lyhört från andra hotellrum. Fin utsikt över tornen från Sagrada Famillia. Vi rekomenderar verkligen […] det här hotellet. Mehr

Esta situado a 1 minuto del metro. Lo unico que al salir de la boca del metro, cuesta encontrarlo, debido a que no se ve el nombre del hotel. Falta algun cartelito con indicacion. la habitacion amplia y comoda, excepto el armario: no se podia abrirlo sin quitar la mesita del noche. Al diseñar no se ha pensado muy bien en distribuicion de muebles.

Hotel proche de la Sagrada Familia, à 5 minutes à pied et assessible également par métro qui se trouve à proximité de l'hôtel. La proximité du métro rend facile les visites de la ville. L'hôtel Eurostars est un Hotel design de bon confort mais qui manque d'entretien. Nous avons eu le droit à une fuite de chasse d'eau pendant tout le séjour malgré nos […] signalements. Le lavabo était quasiment bouché et n'a pas ete réparé. Pour un Hotel qui se veut 4 étoiles, cela nous a semblé anormal. Cela dit, le confort de la literie est excellent et l'environnement de la chambre est très agréable. Mehr

Hotel confortable et fonctionnel, les chambres sont récentes, climatisées (plutôt indispensable surtout en plein été). Bien situé dans le centre de Barcelone l'hotel est a deux pas de la sagrada familia et la proximité de la station de métro "Monumental"permet un accès rapide aux autres quartiers. Pas de petit déj. mais bars autour de l'hotel. Bien […] pour un court séjour. Possible d'avoir un parking (à réserver car les places sont limitées) tout proche mais en supplément. Mehr

Nära Sagrada Familia och trevliga krogar där + en skön promenad rätt ner till playan. Mer pålitlig trådlös internetuppkoppling på rummet. Funkade 1,5 av 5 dagar. För övrigt ett hotell vi gärna bor på igen.

Veldig fornøyd med beliggenhet og pris. Opplevde et rolig og trygt strøk og fine gater å flanere i om kvelden. Metrostasjonen Monumental meget enkel å komme til. I varmen fant vi ut at det var også en meget bedre luftning her oppe i "høyden" enn lenger ned og i gamlebyen. Veldig artig med en sykkeldag med sykler som vi leide rett over gaten (Marina) […] og rundt hjørnet. En uke var IKKE for lenge. Mehr

Hôtel à deux pas du métro Monumental. Accueil agréable (espagnol/anglais, mais pas français).

camera graziosissima e moderna. pulita. bella vista. ma soprattutto a 4 secondi a piedi dalla metropolitana.

Pas de parking pour garer la voiture

Hotel super agradável, ambiente moderno, localizando a 50 metros de uma estação do metro e cerca de 300 da Igreja da Sagrada Família, apesar de ficar em uma esquina de um cruzamento de duas avenidas grandes, não tivemos problemas com barulho.

De check-in ging heel vlot met voldoende uitleg. De kamers zijn ruim en heel verzorgd met een mooie stijl. Elke dag is de kamer mooi opgemaakt met propere handdoeken enz. De enige minpunten die ik het hotel kan geven is dat er geen dubbel bed is maar 2 bedden tegen mekaar geschoven. Het bed is ook heel hard, maar na de eerste nacht geen probleem meer […] mee gehad. Verder in de badkamer is het toilet nogal een vreemde plaats om een telefoon te hangen en er was ook geen toiletborstel. Al bij al toch een prima hotel voor die prijs. Mehr
