Residence Inn by Marriott Washington DC Capitol Hill - Washington

I felt for the money this hotel charges it was not worth it very unhappy. First of all when you have to pay for parking and you cant use your car because iwhen you get back there is no where to park. Also the hotel front desk was not friendly or didnt give any brochures maps etcl, i had to ask if they had a map or ask how I could get to the defferent […] museums. Also this hotel has no restaurant! I would NOT STAY HERE AGAIN and would never recommend this hotel to anybody. Mehr

Good, clean hotel as you would expect from Marriott Residence inn. Location is good. close to the mall and capitol hill as well as metro. Parking costs $30/night which was expensive i thought.

Never stay here. Dirty rooms and rude people. We found bed bugs and the front desk said a few of the rooms have them and there's nothing they can do about it.

We will definitely stay here again. The front desk staff was very helpful, the room clean and the breakfast warm and yummy. Easy walk to the National Mall and the Metro. The pizza place next door was reportedly good but we wanted more choices so we packed a cooler of food and dined in our room. We asked for a room on the quiet side of the hotel and […] were obliged. Hotel was very nice, excellent location, short distance to Metro station. No bar in hotel though & no few areas to eat in the area.

Ok, don't go out of your way for the breakfast, but it is free after all. Overall, I found my room to be very comfy, quiet and spacious. I walked in to find a drippy bathtub and about 2 minutes later, someone was knocking on my door to fix it (I didn't even call) and fix it he did, along with being helpful about other things. The location is two blocks […] from the metro and one more from the Mall so very convenient. Not much of a view out my window but I wasn't really there for that and maybe other rooms have views. Very comfortable hotel for my family of 4. Great location for walking to Smithsonian's and sights. As others commented, not any nice restaurants nearby, just a pizza spot.-but no problem for us - we ate after sightseeing. The hotel did provide a very nice breakfast buffet.

The location is quite good (~3 blocks south of the Mall), except when it comes to eating out. That area does not have restaurants close by (except of Pizza place next door). So you are in for a several block walk to get to the restaurants. The Breakfast was quite good with plenty beyond 'Continental' - they have eggs/sausage/waffle-irons to make your […] own. Room was rather spacious with the typical Residence Inn full kitchen. Indoor pool is ok yet the Spa needed cleaning and chemical attention. All in all, given the location to the Mall...etc. It is a good stay. $30/parking/day is a rip-off, but normal for that area. Mehr

The staff was really good. It was a clean and comfortable room, and we really had no complaints at all. The breakfast was awesome! Very family friendly.

The room was clean, staff helpful. The location was excellent, very close to a Metro station. The only complaint that I have is regarding their buffet breakfast and dinner. They weren't prepared for the number of guests they had. They were always running out of food and forks and spoons. Otherwise, we had a great stay.

Hotel was efficient and clean and nice complimentary breakfast and dinner.

great price, great hotel, good location.

We went to Washington DC to visit the monuments and museums. The hotel is very convenient to the metro though it is in a remote office location next to the NASA office building. There is not much to do at night at the hotel. The compromise is the breakfast and dinner (mon-wed) and the movies for the kids fri and sat night. I would stay there again

Residence Inn is in the midst of remodeling their hotel. Constructions were still going on while we were there but we didn't hear any noise. Everything in the room we stayed in looked brand new. There's plenty of public parking space around the hotel with free parking on Sunday. There's also a parking lot at the corner ($15 for cars and $21 for trucks […] per day) so cheaper than the hotel valet parking. Breakfast was from 7-10am and there was a great variety of cold and hot food (scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, cereals, yogurts, muffins, Belgian waffle maker, etc). Walking distance to Smithsonian museums. We'll definitely stay there again. Mehr

Room and intire hotel was clean staff was friendly and helpfull. The only thing that could have made the stay better was if there were places to eat close by.

Good location, nice staff but for light sleepers, keep in mind it's next to the train tracks.

We loved this location 7 minute walk to the national mall separate bedroom for the adults 5 minute walk to the subway and bus stops lots of inexpensive restaurants Great!! Hot Breakfast pricing was below average for the area but the hotel was nicer then most we did not stay long enough we thought 4 days would be plenty wow we were wrong we will be going […] back June of 2011 the only issue was the train was pretty noisy and right behind the hotel not enough of an issue no to stay here Great place !!! The hotel was nice. The room large. Close enough to the mall to walk to all of the museums. Parking was extremely tight. Do not attempt with a large vehicle. Breakfast was good. The concierge was very helpful in making dinner suggestions and reservations. I would stay here again.

The ice water with lemon in the lobby was a great touch, which was greatly appreciated after a long day of meetings.

We loved the hotel, and the great staff that they had. The only thing we didn't like was how far away it was from any restraunts!

Lovely facilties, great tourist location, clean and comfortable rooms, great hot breakfast, and helpful concierge service. But the desk staff has a univerally snooty attitude. They seemed to resent any questions or request. Washington prices notwithstanding, the room was a bit high-priced, even at discount.

Tbis is a great hotel conveniently located to the major attractions.

Este hotel tiene una gran localización, a 5 cuadras del del Mall (museos, Capitolio) y de una estación del Metro. El desayuno tiene gran variedad de comida y es de buena calidad. Algunas habitaciones pueden ser ruidosas ya que el Metro pasa por un costado del hotel.
