We booked in for only one night as we travelled up the West coast of France. We wish we had the time to stay longer. The hotel was lovely and the facilities available were excellent. Our only slight critisism was that the room was quite croded although we had asked for the provision to sleep 3 and there did not seem to be any control over the air conditioning […] which meant the room was quite warm for our likeing. We were looking forward to this stay and therefore agreed on the 1 bedroom apartment to be sure that we would have ample space for our 2 night stay. Boy were we disappointed. The apartments are apparently not part of the hotel so we were greeted to rooms that were not even made up, trash from a previous guest left out in front of the unit, and a list […] of rules a mile long for what we had to do to clean up our mess before we left. This was their "apartment / hotel" service! We do everything for them. Also, the picture that they show you of the charming chateaux is all very nice but it has nothing to do with the hotel. It is in fact, private and you cannot go anywhere near it. When we asked them they said that it "inspires the ambiance of their hotel". What a joke. The final disappointment was the trash that was outside our room stayed their the entire duration of our stay. I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone. Go into Dol-de-Bretagne. Very disappointed, I try very hard to be open minded, but could never recommend this hotel. We arrived mid afternoon and when we went tom our room the hallway was in darkness, we had to find our room by the light of cell phones. The room was musty and the bathroom very smelly.... We reported the lights to the front desk, but they didn't seem concerned […] the the light were not fixed. Beds were like sleeping on a board. We went to the restaurant later in the evening to see if we could get dessert and were refused... They grudgingly gave us hot water for tea and a bucket of ice in a dirty container... Thankfully it was not for drinks.. Would never go back. Was very disappointed.. Mehr

We were really pleased with the choice we made - it was outside our original search area but we were glad we made the effort hired a car and went - hotel, and all its surroundings , chalets and caravans looked lovely and we will definately be back next year but hopefully for a longer stay - my children raved about it - they kept looking at the lake […] with the fish and thought it was fab to stay in what they called " a tree house" - thanks Mehr

It is not a hotel but an apartment, so bring your own soap! You get to have fun at the resort, but you must do the cleaning up yourself. i was really surprised that upon arrival i was told to give up my credit card number as a deposit and sign that I would be charged for a dirty room or anything damaged. I was offered either to do the cleaning (including […] sheets, trash, etc, to make the room as upon arrival) or pay an additional fee for maid service. This might make sense for a long stay but on hotels.com you only get one night! If you are used to youth hostels and camping it would be fine but otherwise be prepared to tidy up, and quickly! Also note that hotels.com indicated a check out time of 12 PM, but upon arrival I was told it was actually 10 AM. The resort itself seemed very nice, which is why the high ratings. Mehr

Complicated to log on, continuously dropped out and only available in the public areas - I think so you brought either drinks or food when on the internet. While the room was lovely and well maintained, the entire complex essentially closed down for the Easter holiday (or just being off season -- I'm not sure which) and my husband and I found it very difficult to find any food to eat during our entire stay. The hotel resort was wonderful but very difficult to find due to not having a street address for the GPS. At check-in we had to sign a document stating that we would leave the room as we found it or pay 60 euros for cleaning. The bed had to be made up, there was not hair dryer, but aside from that the accommodations were roomy and comfortable.

Je vais garder un très mauvais souvenir de mon séjour dans cet hôtel. En effet, lors de notre arrivée , nous sommes entrés dans une chambre qui avait été certainement occupée la veille par un gros fumeur . L'ambiance y était irrespirable et elle n'avait vraisemblablement pas été aérée. Notre nuit a été perturbée à partir de 4h par un groupe en séminaire […] qui faisait la fête dans les couloirs en claquant les portes , en rigolant, en criant et en se baignant même dans la piscine. Tout ceci a duré 1h30 . La réception n'a rien fait malgré notre appel. Le lendemain , la direction nous a offert les petits déjeuners ( pas terribles entre nous soit dit ) mais nous a fait payer les 9.50 euro pour notre chien qui n'avait pas dit un mot de la nuit , en dépit du bazar nocturne . Je pense que la moindre des choses aurait été d'offrir la nuitée .Cela aurait été un peu plus courtois . Enfin, l’hôtel est extrêmement vieillissant , les chambres impersonnelles et pas du tout insonorisées malgré une ou deux jolies photos sur les murs . Cet établissement ne vaut absolument pas ses 3 étoiles. Mehr

Accueil correct, propreté du studio idem. Mais de nombreuses désillusions : un chèque de caution de exorbitant, le nettoyage est à faire par l'usager sinon c'est assez cher la facturation, les lits sont à faire (les draps sont mis sur les lits), pas de savon ou gel douche/shampoing dans la salle de bain (il y avait quand même des serviettes!). Le freezer […] est à décongeler la veille du départ... L'horloge ne fonctionne pas... Toute petite télé... Le matelas pas très agréable! Heureusement que nous n'y étions que pour une nuit! Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet hôtel très bien situé entre St Malo et le Mont St Michel. Notre chambre était +spacieuse que les autres avec un lit king size très confortable et bien insonorisée. Le prix n'est pas abordable pour toute les bourses, mais nous avons aussi pu profiter de la piscine couverte et chauffée.

Nous étions dans l'une des chambres au dessus du club house, nous n'avons pas vu les chambres de l'hotel mais la notre était tres belle, spacieuse et tres confortable avec une très grande salle de bain et vue sur le golf. Ettersom jeg oppholdt meg her for å besøke en av de ansatte så er nok mitt forhold ganske farget av det. Men for å si det kort; de har den beste hotelfrokosten jeg har hatt i Frankrike, veldig hyggelig betjening og ett utrolig flott område rundt seg. Har nevnt det for noen venner av meg som skal dit. Det er perfekt for familier kan jeg tenke meg.

Nous avons séjourné 3 nuits à l'hotel du domaine des Ormes. Première mise en garde la photo de l'hotel présentée dans le site n'est pas l'hotel des Ormes mais la demeure privée du propriétaire du domaine. L'hotel est correct mais loin de l'image présentée. Seconde mise en garde l'hotel du domaine des Ormes fait parti d'un vaste complexe incluant des […] cottages, des studios ainsi qu'un très vaste camping avec piscines à vagues, glissade d'eau, écurie, golf et tout le tralala.....Donc beaucoup d'action....Si c,est ce que vous recherchez vous serez servi sinon vous serez comme moi un peu déçu. Service hotelier très correct mais le restaurant de l'hotel n'était pas accessible pour les voyageurs individuels seulement sur réservation pour les groupes. Il falait donc se déplacer vers les restaurant du complexe qui étaient toutefois très correct. La rapport qualité prix est bon mais ce n,est pas ce que nous attendions. Mehr

Nous avions passé un excellent weekend à l'hotel du domaine des ormes. A vrai dire nous n'étions pas dans le batiment principal de l'hotel mais nous étions dans un autre batiment qui faisait office de bar/restaurant situé en face du chateau. Il est vrai que rien indiquait que c'était un hotel. D'ailleurs arrivé au bar avec les valises, je dis mon nom, […] ils avaient l'air d'être "surpris". Je m'étais dit qu'on n' était pas au bon endroit... Bref, après nous avoir accompagné à la chambre, on découvrit une chambre magnifique et très spacieuse, à l'ancienne avec des poutres et bien équipée. C'était une belle surprise.Surement la plus belle chambre de l'hotel. De plus un plateau avec du thé et du café et des gâteaux bretons nous attendaient. Le petit bémol c'était que la nuit nous avions eu froid et les couvertures n'étaient pas bien épaisses. Il fait frais en bretagne en juin. Sinon le cadre du domaine est magnifique. Je le recommande et bien situé par rapport a saint malo (environ 40min en voiture), Cancale et le mont saint michel (30min). Par contre voiture indispensable. Mehr

Mieux vaut résider dans les apparts (moins cher) car l'hotel n'apporte pas d'avantages à part le ménage qui n'est pas à faire (serviettes de toilette et draps fournis dans les apparts). les accès sont les mêmes quel que soit l'hébergement. Le cadre est réellement magnifique. C'est très calme. Le parcours de golf est parfait, on peut découvrir toutes les cabanes nichées dans les arbres, seul bémol, les personnes qui ne jouent pas au golf se baladent sur le parcours ce qui est dangereux. Même si le service hôtelier peut paraître inexistant, ce n'est qu'une impression, ils sont très discrets […] et n'hésitez pas à la solliciter. Mehr
