Schönes Hotel im Marais Viertel. Zwei U-Bahn Stationen in unmittelbarer Nähe, ruhige Gegend. Die Hotelzimmer sind sehr klein, aber modern ausgestattet und die Grôße ist für einen Städtetrip ausreichend. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Wir haben zu viert (2 Zimmer, 1x Eltern und 1x Nachwuchs mit 14 und 17 Jahren) 4 Nächte hier verbracht. Abgesehen davon, dass der Lift defekt war und der Liftservice wohl am Wochenende keine Zeit/Lust hatte, das Ding zu reparieren, können wir absolut gar nix an unserer Unterkunft bemängeln. Plus- und Minuspunkte in Kürze: + Leise und fein einstellbare […] Klimaanlage + Hotelsafe mit innenliegender Steckdose (kein Muss, aber gut mitgedacht) + Schnelles Hotel-WiFi-Netz + Perfekte Lage, sowohl in Richtung RER (An-, Abreise) als auch Metro (die oft genutzte Linie 1 hält z. B. an "St. Paul" ca. 500 m entfernt) + Bequeme Betten + Place des Vosges, Notre Dame, Centre Pompidou, Hôtel de Ville, Bastille, Musée Carnavalet etc, etc. in angenehmer "zu Fuß Entfernung" - die üblichen Kleinigkeiten. Um die Dusche in der Badewanne nutzen zu können, darf man nicht größer sein als Sarkozy und 6 Kleiderbügel für 2 Erwachsene sind etwas knapp. Alles in allem: 5 von 5 möglichen Sternen! Kleiner Tipp: Der boulanger neben der Hostellerie, Ecke Rue du Foin verkauft ein wahrhaft phänomenal gutes "Tradition" (Baguette). Mehr

Wir waren zu zweit 4 Tage in Paris. Die Lage ist sehr gut. U-Bahn in 5 Gehminuten zu erreichen und in ca. 25min am Eiffelturm mit Bahn. Kleine Läden in unmittelbarer Umgebung. Wir waren im 4. Stock, an der Straße und die Lautstärke hielt sich in Grenzen und man konnte sogar mit offenen Fesnter gut nächtigen. Zimmer an sich sehr klein und keinen Kühlschrank/Mini […] Bar vorhanden. Kostenloses Internet funktionierte problemlos (Code an Rezeption). Über die Sauberkeit gibt es nichts zu meckern. Jeden früh kam die Reinigung. Unser Zimmer war etwas abgewohnt jedoch gemütlich. Ein neuer Farbanstrich wäre schön. Man hält sich ja generell tagsüber dort nicht auf. Frühstück war OK aber nichts besonders. Etwas geringe Auswahl. Personal konnte nur französisch, außer an der Rezeption - sehr gutes Englisch möglich. Generell zu empfehlen für einige wenige Tage. Ich war über die Ruhe im gesamten Hotel und der Umgebung überrascht, trotz der recht zentralen Lage. Mehr

in der 1. Nacht von 23.00 bis 3.00 riesige Strassenbauarbeiten direkt vor Hotel, schlafen unmöglich - auf Beschwerde hin höfliche Entschuldigung - sonst nichts. Ich hätte eine Reduktion des Zimmerpreises erwartet!

The hotel is in a perfect location with many cafes and boutiques almost on the doorstep. Metro was within easy 5 minutes walking distance. Our room was very quiet and comfortable, and the bathroom modern and well-equipped. A good place to stay and can be recommended.

Negativ: Mein Zimmer wurde während 3er Tage NIE gesäubert, daher musste ich ständig das gleiche Frottiertuch nach dem Duschen verwenden. Es gibt leider keine Schilder welche man vor die Türe hängen kann um darauf hinzuweisen, dass aufgeräumt werden soll. Ausserdem fehlt eine Minibar. This was a lovely little place in a convenient location. The room was a fair size for Paris with a very modern bathroom. We enjoyed the faucet which glowed different colours depending on the warmth of the water! We really enjoyed the hotel. The rooms are standard for France, so not exceptionally small, just average. The best part was the location. Quiet neighborhood, 20 minute walk to Notre Dame. Great restaurants tucked away in nearby courtyard, and two fun restaurants within a block for coffee and people watching. Hotel itself was clean and comfy.

location, location, location just round the corner from Place des Vosges and a short walk from Bastille. The hotel is in a very nice upmarket part of Paris with lots of artisan bakers food stalls and bistros. The hotel is housed in a very old building but the rooms whilst small are furnished to a high standard with super swish bathrooms. We stayed there […] for three nights and towels and bedding were changed each day. The staff were very pleasant and extremely helpful. The hotel required you to leave your key when you went out which I found reassuring. The only downside is that because it is an old building with an old lift you hear it go up and down and as breakfast starts at 7 then it means that you are awake too. I will use the hotel again because you cannot beat its location, spotless rooms and very helpful staff Mehr

It was clean and very cute. nice location to the metro station. only thing is, this hotel has tiny elevator and a hall way, so hard to move or walk with your bags.

I've read some mixed reviews for this hotel, but I honestly had no problems. The rooms were clean and the staff were helpful and polite. Leaving the key wasn't a problem since there was always someone at the desk. As a single woman traveling alone, I was happy to find that the area was very safe. Excellent hotel located in the Marais (3em) adjacent to the chic Place de Vosges where Victor Hugo (Les Miserable author) lived (around the corner from the hotel). One night stay - we arrived late. No problem, straight into our room. It was a small room but clean, very comfortable bed and surprisingly quiet being right on a busy Marais street. The location of the hotel in the Marais is superb. We would recommend this for a pleasant stay in a great area of Paris for a reasonable price.

Hostellerie Du Marais is a wonderful hotel in a great location right in the Marais area. Close to metro (Saint Paul), heaps of restaurants and a short walk along the river's edge and you can be at Notre Dame, Hotel de Ville, Place des Vosges and the Latin Quarter. Stayed here on a business trip. Rooms quite small but nice design. Medieval theme of the lobby and hallways. Desk was so small as to be more symbolic than anything and WiFi system made me re-access it every 10 minutes which was so annoying that it made it impossible to work. We stayed here in Aug 2012. We were out during the day and again at night so the hotel suited our needs - clean, good location, not too expensive. We just needed a place to sleep and shower. the rooms are on the smaller side so you wouldn't want to spend much time in the room. No mini bar or fridge.

The location was perfect, just a short walk to the Metro. Plenty of cafes, and places to eat nearby. Staff was pleasant and helpful. WiFI was great and very secure. The bathroom was fabulous even for european budget style. Awesome!

The first impression was not so great from old building. However it was very cute comfort room. The rooms are very clean everyday and change all towels everyday. Its location is definately most attractive. But not to take breakfast as many resturants are available around the hotels in Paris.

Yes the rooms in Paris are small, this is nothing new. However, it was 100% functional, and all one needs in this wonderful city. We stayed during one of the biggest heat waves Paris had ever seen, and the A/C worked wonderfully. The little elevator made us chuckle every time, and the lobby was so warm and inviting. The only bad thing, apparently Europeans […] don't believe in shower curtains or shower doors, so when you shower, the floor gets quite wet after a shower. Otherwise, AMAZING little hotel tucked into a adorable neighborhood, only steps to great restaurants and sites. Very easy to get to Metro as well. Very gay friendly too! Mehr

If you don't mind very small rooms, then you would be more then comfortable at Hostellerie Du Marais. I, personally, didn't mind the size. The rooms themselves are very nice and modern. The customer service was not good. There was one lady at the reception desk who was superb, however, the rest of the staff was rude and unwelcoming. Since the hotel […] is VERY small, it made our stay very awkward and uncomfortable. The upkeep of the hotel was satisfactory. It was not run down, but it was not newly renovated like other small hotels in Paris. They can definitely use a new elevator. 1 suitcase and 1 person can fit at a time. A pro is definitely the cleanliness of the rooms. When the maid came in to clean, she made sure the room was spotless. Overall, I would say all negatives about this hotel would have been a lot more tolerable if the customer service was better. Mehr

great security as you have to leave your room key at the desk whenever you leave the hotel and then pick up again on entrance their front doors were locked at certain hr of the evening but staff were there to open when buzzed

I stayed 4 nights. on the second night the toilet started to gurgle, then it downright vomited onto the bathroom floor. then it kept on vomiting till it started to run into my room. if that wasn;t disgusting enough, I had to actually suggest that they move me to a different room. So they did finally move me to a single when I paid for a double. I found […] out they had a double available. but I spent one night in the single. that was a long night. the pillows were horrible and I tossed and turned. The guest next door to me on that 5th floor was slamming the doors all night. I am not exagerating this. so i kind of insisted that they move me to a different room which they did. but i had to move my own bags. Just no sense of how to host a guest. Mehr

I stayed in the hotel for seven days and it wasn't what I expected. In my opinion, the information on the website was misleading. The bathroom had drainage problems and the cleaning staff had wedged some towels into a space under the handbasin to keep the room from flooding. stayed in room 12, shower was very small and double bed was a little tight in room, but otherwise a nice room. Friend had room 14 which was a much better room in both these areas. Staff was helpful, friendly and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Hotel is located in a wonderful area of Paris. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and delightful. We felt very welcome.

My sister and i stayed for 2 nights and found the hotel a great base - easy to get to from Bastille metro which can be reached directly from Gare du Nord. Staff were helpful... One lovely man gave us a cup full of ice so that we could take our warm bottle of rose and bask in the beautiful square nearby. Tres bon!
