Bad Experience. non smoking rooms were smelling of cigarettes, toilets were not flushing, sink not draining..old ACS..taking lot of time to kick in..what else would you want to make your stay perfect?

It was a good value for the $. I would ask for a room on the third floor. They were bigger and had a bath tub. Rooms are simple, clean, and they have a cold breakfast; good for just before one gets on a plane.

This hotel was near the airport and we needed just that. Arriving after 9pm, we got our key, made it up to the 3rd floor only to have our key not work. Got a new one right away. Woke up at 6am to head to the airport to find that there is no blowdryer in the room. The worker at the front desk notified us that if we wanted one we'd have to come down and […] get it. The shower had mold in the cracks and there was a smell in the heater. For a dry place to stay for a short stay, it worked. I definitely wouldn't recommend it though. Mehr

I worried about the distance of my hotel to the convention center and the cost of transport. The hotel provided free airport shuttle to the airport. The hotel does not have kitchen, so I always had to order in. The staff were courteous and friendly. I recommend ABVInn for people who don't mind taking a 41mins bus drive into the city.

price was okay for a brief stay. I do a lot of extended stay in hotels due to my work and could not afford extended but brief only. food nearby and neccesary routes for traffic ok

Unless you are desperate, don't stay here. It's a dump. First off, the do not disturb signs don't mean anything to them. We requested no housekeeping with the front desk, put the do not disturb sign up, and yet still they entered our room. When we complained, they couldn't care less. The breakfast sucks ... the area was just dirty. The elevator is scary […] to ride. Just take the stairs. And if it snows, they don't shovel the sidewalks or the stairs. Oh and they don't have the parking lot cleared or salted. No coffee after 10am either. Mehr

Room and personnel were quite fine. Outdoor entrances should be noted but overall this hotel was just fine for the convenience and the cost.

hotel had zero heat and zero water...was offered another room, but was advised that the other rooms would be the same. they offered zero refund and advised i should wait up to an hour for the heat to kick on...it was 29 degrees outside!

I wish I would have applied for hotel . com memembership. I was not suggested. thanks

Every year around this time of the year I travel to a conference and I look for a hotel convenient to the airport so I do not have to get up early and drive to airport. This hotel met my needs and will consider this property in the future.

The people were wonderful, and provided great service, I was very pleased once I found the Motel, with the directions from Mapquest, was the worst, once there it was getting better, to get around, but that area is hard to understand, and my internet service was not good, but I informed the Motel of this, and said they would look into it, and get it […] fixed, but overall if I have to visit that area again, I would stay there because there was genuine concern for my stay, good staff !!!! We stayed one night, and the room was like a cracker jack box... tiny!!! The bed was hard, but at least the sheets were clean. The outside temp was 27, and our heater didn't even work in our room!!! Horrible! The bathroom was old and dingy! My recommendation is pay the extra $15-20 and get a nice comfortable hotel!

Hotel is in poor condition and needs repairs.

The hotel is very basic and a bit run down, which is to be expected for its price. Free wireless was definitely a plus, and it was easy to access from my room. there was also a free shuttle to and from the airport that you can arrange for whenever you need it. The free breakfast is ok, just pastries, cereal, and juice/coffee.

I will never again stay at this hotel. I read the reviews before I booked with this hotel. The very first review said the hotel was very clean.JOKE! My sheets were dirty. There was 5-6 hairs under my pillow and what appeared to be bug scales on thev otherv side of the sheet. I called down to the lobby and there was only 1 girl working at 11:30PM so […] she couldn't help much as she needed to remain at the lobby.I changed the entire bedding on both beds in the room. The toilet wouldn't flush.Apparently this is an ongoing problem in this room as the wallpaper and drywall behind the toilet was buckled.This to me says that the toilet has clogged often. Poor maintenance!I asked to talk to the managed and was told that he couldn't be reached. I would have to call through the week. The man I spoke with on Saturday and Sunday indicated that he was not the general manager. I feel that my room was paid for in full before i left my house, so this hotel didn't care if I was satisfied or not.They already had their money. I was not even offered a discount or anything. We (family of 4) dropped of our bags off in hotel room to head out with friends for dinner. When we came back we asked for extra blankets because we don't like to sleep under covers. The attendant could not lv front to help. The drive from Baltimore from Pitt. was 4 hrs. After dinner w/friends all we wanted was sleep! We all slept in our clothes on […] top of the 1 blanket that was on bed. When my son woke and rolled covers back the next morn-he saw old stained sheets and mouse droppings on both beds!! Deplurable! The mgr was not helpful at all when I notified him of the problem. We will never eturn to this hotel again! Mehr

If all you need is a shower and a bed then this is the place for you!!! Def the best value....meaning Ive never stayed somewhere so cheap!! I was looking for good value on short notice and found this place. I should have looked a little harder. There's a Super 8 motel up the road, which might have been better. For the price, a Motel 6 would have provided better comfort and more value. I was on the third (top) floor, and there doesn't seem to be an elevator, which would have helped with […] luggage. The room with the toilet and shower had no vent, only a recirculating fan with a bad bearing that would run while the light was on--it would rattle intermittently, but stop when I hit the wall. The wallpaper in there was peeling badly. There was a window in the main room, but it wasn't designed to open; I had to leave the door ajar to get fresh air in the room. The bed was firm to the point of being a little uncomfortable. If you're looking for good value, look elsewhere. Mehr

I you prime cleanliness and an a family-friendly environment you are not going to stay in this place, which is not an Inn, but a Motel. My husband and I could not stay there any time longer than necessary to be certain that is not a safe place to be, as far as our health was concerned. The smell inside of the room was unbearable, my husband started coughing as soon as he stepped into the room. The overall appearance of uncleanliness made us uneasy and disgusted. Upon presenting our complaint at the desk, we were offered another room. That other room had a funky smell, and stink bugs on the wall. We told the receptionist, who was very courteous and friendly, that we could not stay in that place. We went to another one in the vicinity. I tried to give it a try, going away from the big hotel and inn chains, but I have learned my lesson: “there is no such a thing as best value, when it comes to where you and you family is staying”. ABVI is what it states "the best value", This is my 4th stay here over the past couple of years and it is has remained consistent. The room is clean, and spacious, and best of all affordable. The staff is usually quite friendly. I did however have a young girl at the front desk give me a bit of a hard time when asking for an extra pillow. She said she […] couldn't leave the lobby area unattended, even though the laundry room is literally 20 ft. from the lobby. When we got to the closet she actually said, "I don't really get paid enough to do this" I didn't get her name, I got the pillow, that's all I was concerned w/ at the time. I booked this room as I had to fly to Florida for a business trip as a "Stay and Fly." When I checked in at the motel - I was charged for 3 days of parking. The listing was misleading as there was no information anywhere on the entry that limited the parking to ONLY 10 days.

As a grad student, my tolerance of cheap hotels is pretty high. I'll stay in just about anything so long as it's clean and safe. This place wasn't much of either. To be fair, the location and price are great, and the staff were very pleasant and quick. The problem is the sketchy neighbourhood, and the fact that the hotel itself is old and ratty. My […] bed was clean, but the rest of the room was gross. I had to wash my ear after I used the phone (it was that nasty), and walls and carpet were old and stained. I was honestly concerned about whether my car would be safe in the lot overnight. Honestly, if I hadn't already paid through hotels.com I'd have checked out and gone somewhere else. This place could probably be fine if it cleaned up and renovated. Some more lighting in the parking lot would be great too. If all you want is cheap and convenient, this is the place for you. I didn't expect much with the price of this hotel but I did expect it to be better than what it was. When I checked in I asked about the internet and was told "with the weather it comes and goes the wireless internet". I could never find a signal during my stay there! This was my 2nd time staying at this hotel. Unfortunately, the conditions have not improved at all since my last stay. They staff is very warm and friendly, however, my room was disgusting. The main reason I booked a night at this dump was for free parking and shuttle to the airport. I was told when I booked it that I could stay one night get shuttled to the airport in the morning for our vacation to Florida and that I could leave my vehicle there for free while we were on vacation. When I got to the hotel the night before they said I […] had to pay $5 a day for parking and i was also called a liar when i talked to the lady at the front desk. She made no attempt to make right on their mistake. I feel greatly disrespected and would never stay there again and would never recommend to anyone. But this time we did and and they made no attempt to right their wrong and tried to make me look like an idiot. And now I'm out even more money. That's not the way to treat people. This hotel was easy to find and the lobby is open for late check-in. The hotel exterior looked not well maintained. The rooms were enough size with 2 queen beds but very smelly and looked very old. The breakfast was standard with some toast, cereal and rolls. But the breakfast room had just a couple of tables and no food allowed in the lobby. overall […] we could stay as it was just one night. couldn't think of staying another night! overall, i won't recommend this hotel to any one. We stayed here because it was the lowest price I could find for the location we needed. The hotel was pretty run down but the room was clean. We needed an iron and a hair dryer and the front desk did provide those to us. It was ok for one night if you need something near the airport, otherwise you might want to find something else.

Place was a real crap hole. Room smelled bad , Service desk person was rude, Ice tasted like filter was never changed, Was promised a king bed, got a double, advertising said continental breakfast, there was none, wouldn't have eaten it even if there was one, place was a crap hole, Steel lentles holding up second floor balcony are rusted through in […] many places, about ready to give way. not worth it

The folding lock bar that goes across the door was broken, the bathroom is seriously in need of repair. The place looked neglected and uncared for.

hotel was not easily accesable. Room was very old and need updated . Paint chipped. outside of room very old and actually seemed unsafe. the outside walls needed painted and cement was cracked and chipped. For the price, i was very dissatisfied. Desk clerk nice but didn't seem very friendly.

The outside was all rusted. It was creepy to me. No coffee maker. Ice on first floor only. Booked hotel because I was told there was 24 hour shuttle to airport, but this was not true. Airport shuttle starts at 4:30a.m. Shuttle service was good and on time, but I would not stay again, especially for this price.
