Das Motel liegt im schönen Sandwich, mit malerischem Dorfzentrum und schönem Strand. Wer über kein Auto verfügt wird es schwer haben, da es keine öffentliche Verkehrsanbindung gibt und an der 6A auch keine Gehsteige. Ansonsten liegt die Lodge sehr praktisch direkt gegenüber von Supermarkt, Post und Restaurants in der Nähe des Hafens und des Cape Cod […] Kanals. Es verfügt über einen Innen- und Außenpool, ausreichend Parkplätze und schöner Umgebung. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich und groß, aber durch die Klimaanlage und alten Teppich auch etwas muffig. VERY NICE FAMILY FRIENDLY LOW BUDGET HOTEL. WE HAD A NICE SUITE OVERLOOKING POOL. HOTEL ON 6A NEAR RT 6 AND MAJOR HIGHWAY. SCENIC ROAD TO OTHER AREA ATTRACTIONS. WOULD STAY AGAIN AS PRICE IS RIGHT AND CLEAN!

I was kept up all night by clanging/squeaking of the water or heating system. No place to hang anything in bathroom--hook was totally broken off the door and not replaced?

A nice motel with a good pub next door and another nice bar restaurant down the street. It is a basic old fashioned type of motel that is good value with a nice pool if you need this for the kids. If you are expecting more than a motel then go elsewhere, but for the price and what we expected it was perfect. Friendly staff. The Sandwich Lodge & Resort was in a very good location. Close to the center of the city. Staff was very helpful in suggesting things to go see & do. Breakfast was good. The room was very clean but decor was outdated.

The lodge staff members were very helpful and knowledgeable. The room was okay but it did have a musty smell, we went and bought room fresheners to help. The bed was really low to the floor and the furniture was kind of outdated. We did like the room and we weren't totally dissatisfied. We would stay again, just in a different room.

Friendly staff and the British Brewery Pub next door was very convenient

Easy to find as soon as you hit Cape Cod. Easy booking in. We used it as a good stop over while touring but it would be good for kids. Self service breakfast was good for a flexible start.

An excellent place to stay. Accommodations were very comfortable. Clean, neat, nicely appointed room. Had a great meal at the authentic British Pub next door. Highly recommend it.

We stayed in one of this hotel less expensive rooms.The beds were outstandingly comfortable. the room clean, the staff very helpful. I would rate this as on of the better values for dollar in the area. We'll be going back.

The decor is dated but the room was large and clean and a good value. I would go back to this motel.

What was their not to like about the Sandwich Lodge & Resort! My husband and I were not able to reserve a king suite so we took the double queen suite. A large, bright room, comfortable bed, kitchenette,new decor,new bathroom with an exhaust fan and seperate heat light,etc...The lodge has an indoor pool, whirlpool and a pool table, game room, etc...their […] is also an outdoor pool /the deep end is 4 1/2 feet, which is great for parents with children just learning to swim. There is a computer for use in the lobby and coffee and tea available all day...the continental breakfast was served in an immaculate dinning area...cereals, juices,hard boliled eggs, toast,bagels,etc...two ice cream shops both with homemade ice cream on each side of the resort,we loved "Sweet Tomatoes Pizza", "Seafood Sam's",and" Captain Frosty's",(their clams were suberb and their Lobster Rolls, sinful!),In Buzzards Bay we ate at "Mezza Luna", an Italian family restaurant, Oh, and "Bobby Byrnes" in Sandwich-they all have great food...we went to Town Neck Beach and Sandy Neck Beaches....we appreciated the sand dunes...located on route 6A, this Lodge is accessible to many fabulous gift stores and coffee shops....you stay on 6A and follow thru to Dennis, Harwich,Chatham...we took many trips but stayed only at the Sandwich Lodge...I spoke to other vacationers who felt the way we did...we stayed 4 nights /5 days and would definitely return..any questions call the resort , the staff are friendly and answer all your questions. We were disappointed with the continental breakfast. Mostly stuff in plastic wrappers, but overall, the stay was pleasant, and the room was nice.

I was in CAPE COD on business. I found the Hotel to be quite comfortable. The continental breakfast was just OK but all in all I would stay there again

I was very impressed with the quality of service, the accomodations and the friendliness of the staff at Sandwich lodge and resort. The decor of the rooms was very nice. Overall, the Sandwich Lodge was a nice place to stay. The rooms, halls, and lobby area were all nice and clean and well kept. I did not use the pools, but the indoor pool looked nicer than the outdoor pool. The caveats though; 1) Sandwich itself is a bit far from all that is happening in Cape Cod (Provincetown, Hyannis, Chatham, Falmouth, etc), so next […] time I am planning on staying in the Hyannis area, 2) if you are someone who depends on good WiFi, this may not be the hotel for you, as all my wife did was complain about how bad the WiFi was, 3) our room was accidently assigned to another hotel patron, and he tried to get into our room late at night while we were in bed, that can be a bit unnerving, fortunately, he cooperated and the hotel was very apologetic. Sandwich is a bit of a quiet area, away from the hustle and bustle of the more touristy areas of Cape Cod. If that is what you are more into, or if you need a mid location between Boston and the Cape, then this might be the right place for you. Mehr

The room was very spacious and clean with new carpet, wallpaper, etc. The price was reasonable and it was nice to have a restaurant next door. For a 2-3 start property this was better than I expected. The Cape does not have a lot of good options unless you are at Chatham Bars or Wequasett which just don't work for everyone's budget. We stayed in one of their deluxe suites. Good price for the size. Finding a hotel that has both an indoor and outdoor pool plus jacuzzi is very tough in Cape Cod... unless you pay an arm and a leg. We booked the day before for a July stay! Only real complaints: -our room had a particular odor -A/C only in the livingroom, not the bedroom -the sofa bed […] mattress needs replacing (torn in several places) -cleaning staff needs to work harder, crumbs found in sofa bed from last visitor! sofa bed was not redone everyday Depending on your budget I would recommend it. I personally wouldn't stay there again... I'd spend more $$$ to get something nicer. However, right across from a Stop & Shop supermarket and a large Pharmacy. Mehr

The room was spacious and well kept up. We enjoyed the pools, which were open until 10pm. The maid service was excellent and the desk clerks were helpful. The towels could be softer, but that is the only complaint. This is a decent place to stay.

I told them how many ppl I had and they said that 4 was fine because I would have a sleeper sofa and a roll away bed. Once I got in the room there was neither, so I called the front desk and they said " Well we can give it to you but the roll away bed is $10 extra a night and if we want a room with sleeper sofa it would be an aditional $20 plus tax […] which equals $25 a night. So to have what I was told I would already have it would cost me an extra $35 each night. The hotel staff was had the attitude "well its not our problem" Also bkfst was awful! The staff was very unproffessional, sitting watching soaps and such while you stood at the front desk waiting to be helped. There is one washer and dryer to use for the entire hotel but its $2.00 each and they didnt get the clothes dry. There was also only 2 shirts and one pair of pants in the load.. Another thing I hated was that even though there are multiple levels their is NO elevator. We were there for a BMX race that my son races in and we needed to carry tools and bikes up. I told the woman that we would need a ground level because of carrying so much and she told me yet again, it would be an extra charge!! Every time you turn around it was extra charges, and the worst is that the hotel is not a really nice hotel. I have stayed at Raddison, Marriotts, super 8's, Hyatts and Hiltons and many more. This would be on the bottom of the list..... Do not waste your money to stay here!!! Better off at a Super 8 or truck stop...... Mehr

Given that most of the hotels and motels on Cape Cod are older and rustic, this hotel was about what I expected. The Internet connection worked well. The plumbing was OK. Beds were OK. About what I expected from a 2-star establishment. Convenient to shopping and highways.

When we booked for this motel, we were told that the room was pet friendly. This room smelled so bad that we had to upgrade our room for additional $21. At late in night some one from front office knocked at our door to inform us that that he had no record of anyone staying in this room. I told him that we had paid additional money to upgrade in this […] room. This motel has more than one floor, however there is NO ELEVATOR. This is definitely not acceptable. Loved the indoor pool and hot tub, had a large comfortable room. Good price, nothing fancy, but quiet, clean and very good location for our trip to the Heritage Museum and beaches.

The room is large and the beds are comfortable. The really great thing about this hotel is the indoor "salt water" pool. No overwhelming chlorine smell. Not sure if it is totally chemical free, but there is no chlorine smell.

We got in early and couldn't check in early without paying extra, but other than that everything was ok. Decent rooms for the price, ours were clean. We stayed one week for business and will be staying there again.

The experience was pleasant, the room was spacious and clean, the location is excellent and the service was great. I highly recommend this hotel.

The front desk personal should be fired!!

We had a very nice stay at Sandwich Lodge and Resort. The front desk clerk was very friendly, gave us a great recommendation for dinner that offered a 10% discount on meals. Our room 128 had a musty smell, the toilet constantly ran, and we think there was a mouse in the room. Other than that, for the price it was a good deal. It had a decent breakfast that was included. It was a good location and had a great restaurant next door that offered a 10% discount to Sandwich Lodge guests.
