H10 Universitat Hotel - Barcelona

Modern, gut eingerichtet, Frühstücksbuffet sehr gut. Service freundlich und hilfsbereit auch an Reception. Zimmer klein, zur Alleinbenützung aber gut. Hotel ist bestens zu empfehlen.

Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und zweckmässig eingerichtet. Leider funktionierte die Klimaanlage während des ganzen Aufenthaltes nicht. Die Lage zwischen Universitat und Catalunya ist hervorragend!!!

Hotel war für Stadtbesichtigung gut gelegen (nahe öffentlicher Verkehr), günstig und hat guten Service geboten. Jedoch war unser Zimmer extrem klein; wir wussten zwar, dass wir nicht viel Platz haben werden, dass aber die Zimmerfläche nur etwas grösser als ein Doppelbett war, war dann doch etwas klein. Zimmerausstattung sonst gut, zweckmässig und funktionell […] sowie platzsparend. WC/Dusche sauber. Frühstück war reichhaltig, Frühstücksaal ausreichend gross. Personal nett, effizient, freundlich und aufmerksam. Beratungen bezüglich Ausflügen gut. Bar auf Dach (in Werbung) war leider bereits wegen bewölktem Wetter geschlossen. Kann Hotel weiterempfehlen, wenn man gutes Preis-/Leitungsverhältnis sucht. Mehr

Our room was small bad not uncomfortable. Staff was friendly and most of them spoke English. The bus stop to the airport were around couple of hundred yards from the hotel. There was a charge for the breakfast but it was excellent .

The one major problem with this hotel is that they have no sound isolation at all. You can hear everything that is going on in the hall way + in other rooms. This made it very hard for me to sleep. The air is also a little dry, the rooms are small and there is only a glass wall between the bed and the bathroom, which is fine as long as you are staying […] in your room alone, but not if you are 2. Plenty of other options in central Barcelona. Don't pick this one. Mehr

If you book this hotel, make sure not to get the small rooms. The small rooms are very small. They measure 12ft square. Other than that, the hotel is nice and very centrally located. Close to all shopping, metro rail station, and La Rambla.

This is one of several H10 hotels. It was ideally situated in Barcelona although I barely slept while staying in the hotel on any of the nights there. The room was beyond sweltering, the air was completely dry and I woke up constantly on a night needing water (PS. I'm not normally like this!). The air con did nothing and leaving the window opening made […] things slightly more bearable. There were holes in the floor under the bed, which tilted a lot when sat/laid upon it. There was very little space to move in the room - they just about squeezed a double bed in it! A single wardrobe unit, 2 tiny drawers inside, but little other space. The room was great for the price. It was modern, well designed and maintained. The only thing I would lookout for is this hotel sits above the subway. If you are on a lower floor, you will hear shaking from the trains. The location is less than 1 block from Plaza Catalunya which is a major plaza in Barcelona. You can easily catch the subway there to […] go anywhere in the city and it is a great location for seeing the city via walking. Mehr

Very good overall, good standard, great location. Only downside was the size of the room, on the plus side the bathroom was relatively enormous by comparison.

Overall, my wife and I had a mostly satisfactory stay in one of this hotel's "basic" rooms. "Basic" is just it was: a queen bed in a tiny room with an adjoining bathroom separated only by a glass door. Basically we were accommodated in one small room with barely enough space to move about and very little cupboard or storage space. No chairs to sit in […] other than one stool. The bathroom was spacious but took up 1/3rd of the total space. Our room was reasonably well cleaned and maintained, though we noticed a lot of dust under the bed. The bathroom was cleaned every day, but we had a bit of a problem with the facecloths. They were removed and not replaced until we brought attention to this. The front desk personnel were polite and helpful. The buffet breakfast is not really worth the cost (12 Euro). Certain items like fresh fruit, even hams, were often not replenished after about an hour before the buffet closed at 10-10:30 a.m. The choice of cereals was limited. Coffee was only fair in quality. Hotel location was excellent, though, with public transportation to all important sites close by. Nevertheless, given the very medium quality of the accommodation, I believe we were somewhat overcharged, and especially so with the weekend rates. If we had had more time to research our accommodations, I think we may have done better. Mehr

Excellent location and a nice hotel. However, the standard rooms are very small and the internet is almost non existent. Changes to the computer must be made in order to connect and the connection is very weak. Big bathroom and excellent shower. Front desk is excellent.

Not very friendly. Did not offer champagne on arrival. When departing, we asked for a glass and was told it was for guests cheking in only???? Very tacky and unaccomodating. No smiles; simply basic, dry reception. While we would stay here again, it would not be our first choice.

This hotel was a perfect fit. I was in the city for 3 nights and wanted to be close to public transportation in a hotel that was safe, comfortable and convenient. The hotel is extremely convenient to metro stations (1 block to Pl. Catalunya & Universitat), 1 block from the bus stop for the Aerobus, 1 block from the top of Las Ramblas. The hotel staff […] was extremely nice and accommodating--they kept the terrace bar open for an extra hour so that friends and I could enjoy a drink al fresco. They speak English, Catalan and Spanish. They also greet you with a class of champagne, which was so nice because it was super hot. The room is a typical European hotel room--not much floor space, but everything is well configured. The shower is out of this world good and the bathroom is stocked with everything you could possibly need. The hotel bar and the terrace bar close early, which is only inconvenient because the terrace bar is so fantastic--great view of the city, comfy couches and chairs, probably great drinks. Great location, nice staff, clean room and reasonable rate. I was traveling alone and my room was small, but it was comfortable and the location was spectacular: 2 blocks from Plaza Catalunya and Las Ramblas. Also close to two Metro stations.

Firstly the best thing about this hotel are the staff. I wrote an email before my 4 night stay asking for a large room as i had read some are very small. I got an immediate reply from the hotel and my friend and myself got just that, 2 large rooms on the 6th floor. The hotel is 2 mins from Plaza Catalunya and close to La Rambla and the beach, so great […] location. Now the downside, My room was in the front of the hotel so very noisy at night though great internet connection. I asked to move and they were very obliging but the room at the back of the hotel though quiet, had poor internet connection even with a cable. There was a buzzing from the electric box all night which was very annoying but the rooms are comfortable and airy, though the bed maybe a little hard for some. You also get a vibration/rumbling from the metro which must run under the hotel, not enough to keep you awake but there all the same. The most annoying thing was that the roof terrace though open had no service. Drinks had to be bought in the reception bar and taken upstairs by us. This is one of the main reasons for booking this hotel so wasn't impressed with that! Would i stay there again, probably if not for the staff certainly for the location Mehr

The hotel rooms are small, if you don't pay an extra 30 Euro for an upgrade. But overall, the cleanliness and services of the hotel is satisfactory. Very convenient location at this price. It's only around 5-10 min walk from the airport express terminal to the hotel.

Classes as 4* hotel, but unfortunately I would only class as 3*. Very rough around the edges. On arrival could not access room until 2 pm (should be 1 pm). Some reception staff very unhelpful, Maria quite helpful, but still only after fuss. Room a.c. actually blowing out hot air! Arrived Sunday, 2 reception staff lied n said wld be fixed that day, we […] of course knew different. Requested change of room, finally happened after a lot of fuss and nearly a full first day taken up with packing and unpacking, finally moving to a room with appropriate air conditioning. Great Hotel in Centre of Barcelona. With a great loungecorner on the top of the hotel. Very close to Ramblas, Metro and shops. Internet for free!

The hotel was fantastic: modern; clean; stylish with friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was very good and the bar staff were very accommodating. The room was clean with good facilities, though was extremely small. Despite numerous claims about the free WiFi, it didn't work once during our stay; not a problem for us but would be for some. For us this hotel had the perfect location, we got off the C2 bus from Mataro and walked straight into the lobby. However, the standard room was very compact, we would have preferred a slightly larger room but as we only stayed one night we did not complain.

This hotel is in a great location, the hotel and rooms are beautiful, the included breakfast is nice. The beds are a little hard. The only major complain I had was that the FREE internet didn't work. We stayed here for 3 nights and the first night we complained, they said they are calling the technician, but it might just be the time of day and the […] number of people of the internet. I tried again later that evening and the same thing. I tried again early the following morning and the same thing. I complained again, and they said the technician check the room and its all fine. I said it wasn't! I was not the only person complaining about the internet. We have three rooms and heard from other at breakfast who had the same issues. The hotel offered no compensation for the downed internet and the staff where not apologetic about it. I had to go elsewhere for internet access and had to pay for it. I would not recommend this hotel if internet is crucial to you! Mehr

Beside located near the main metro stop, Airport-Bus Stop, and Catalnya-Rambla section - the hotel was not worth the price. Plenty of other hotels to try. The room "basic" was below basic standards with a small room where only a bed fit - no place for luggage - only enough room room walk around the bed. The bathroom was nice, but only separated from […] the bed by a swinging glass door. The cooling A/C never really cooled the room the entire stay. There are three H10 hotels in the area so make sure you have they correct one. Mehr

This hotel is a block from the tour busses as well as the bus to the airport. It is 2 blocks from La Rambla and all it has to offer. The hotel has the most wonderful restaurant; breakfast is very good, but dinner is fantastic! Excellent location - near to Placa Catalunya for all transport and tourist facilities. Very helpful Reception staff.

Nice rooms and great location right by Las Ramblas but far enough away to be quaint. Great breakfast buffet. The rooftop terrace was perfect for sunbathing or an evening of cocktails with friends. Even our rooms had small balconies so that we could take in the air. Highly recommend this hotel!

The location is great. Right where you want to be while visiting Barcelona. Based on American standards...the beds were very firm, almost like sleeping on the box spring, rather than a mattress. The bathroom had some water damage and was only fairly clean (some minor issues). The front desk employees were helpful, friendly, and spoke English. The wireless […] internet in the room was too weak, but the service was fast using a hard wire connection. Overall, I'd stay at the hotel again. Mehr

We really liked the H10 Universitat and I would definitely stay there again. My only complaint is that the wireless internet service didn't work in our 7th floor room, but we could go down to the lobby when we really needed it. The location is very convenient to the Placa, Las Ramblas, bus and metro lines and good shopping.

I stayed at this property due to its proximity to pedestrian attractions. I had single room that was somewhat cramped in space, but definitely functional for a solo traveler. If you're simply looking for an affordable place to sleep and be near the inner city attractions, I would recommend.

Sijainti oli erinomainen, hyvät ostosmahdollisuudet ihan vieressä. Monet nähtävyydet kävelymatkan päässä. Metroasema ja lentokenttäkuljetus vieressä. Huone oli siisti, mutta todella pieni. Matkalaukkua ei sopinut aukaisemaan muualla kuin oven edessä lattialla. Hotellin vastaanoton henkilökunta ystävällistä. Hyvä aamupala.

Buena ubicación , buena atención , la habitacion doble estandard es muy chica , vale la pena consultar , en mi caso pude cambiarla pagando una diferencia .

Sijainti loistava, Plaza Catalynian vieressä. Henkilökunta erittäin avuliasta. Aaamiainen monipuolinen ja runsas. Erinomainen vaihtoehto jos haluaa asua keskustassa.

Hotel og service var som forventet på et 4 stjerners hotel. Desværre startet hele opholdet med at jeg fik besked om at pga tekniske problemer måtte jeg flytte til annet hotel den første nat, hvilket betød tabt tid og at jeg ikke kom på messen den første dag.

Ett bekvämt och fräscht hotel med ett perfekt läge i centrum med nära till allt .Inom en radie på 5 minuters promenad finns Las Ramblas, Placa Catalonya varifrån mycket utgår ifrån, Gaudis Casa Batlló, och gamla stan. En mycket hälpsam personal samt en perfekt frukostbuffé gör hotellet till ett mycket bra alternativ,

La habitación era muy muy pequeña - y el baño, al contrario, bastante grande pero con paredes de vidrio esmerilado y puerta que no cerraba bien. Menos mal que nos conocemos bien! Por lo demás, todo bien - todo muy limpio y el personal amable.

Trevlig personal, bra sängar, frukosten hade det mesta man kan begära. Läget är riktigt bra, med närhet till La Rambla och tunnelbana.

très bon hôtel, très bien placé entre la Rambla et la place Catalunya... Prendre la mini suite sinon les chambres de base sont trop petite...

唯一残念だったのはルームメイキング後に必ずがタバコ臭かったこと。窓開けた解決したけど。

Sentralt beliggende i forhold til La Rambla og et ypperlig utgangspungt for sightsing og flybuss.
