The best place to stay in Bethesda area!

This hotel is good for a conference. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The service is outstanding. The conference rooms are pleasant, the food is delicious, and the recreation facilities are are wonderful. The Marriott was comfortable, however beware of the kind of room you are getting. I booked two doubles for a family of four and was told at check-in (and I arrived in the morning, plenty early) that there were NO rooms left with two doubles... even though I had a reservation. I was given a room with a King and a rollaway bed. My 5-year-old son had to […] sleep on the chair/ottoman, made up with sheets and blankets like a bed. The hotel was nice, and the staff offered to try to find us a room at another hotel, but that would've cut too much time out of the first day of an already short vacation, so we made it work. Anyway, be careful of what you're getting. Our reservation said 1 king, 2 doubles... I didn't realize that meant either/or! Mehr

The Bethesda North Marriott was lovely - clean, comfortable, with a nice pool and fitness center. The only catch was that we booked a room with two double beds for our family of 4 and received a room with one king bed. The desk staff offered to find us another hotel nearby, but that would have cut quite a bit into our first day of vacation. Fortunately, […] our kids were small enough to sleep on a rollaway and the chair/ottoman in the room. Be careful when booking that you know exactly what you are getting! Very clean and comfort

The rooms were standard and clean. The hotel restaurant boasts amazing food and service. We actually contact ed the manager to compliment the staff. The bar is very nice and although the bartenders were a little over-whlemed - the atmosphere was great. Great restaurants in the area..

This was an amazing hotel, the cleaniness the staff especially in the dining area . The staff there was great i will be coming back very soon. Just a weekend get away

They even have a nice gym and indoor pool. My stay was great. I would go back anytime. Everything was so clean and everyone was so friendly. Thank you!

great room especially for the price. high quality. the only thing is that the room needs an ongoing fan like in the bathroom. The hotel is so quiet I needed a fan or something with a constant noise to sleep. Oh and also there was no hot tub / jacuzzi... I need one for my bad back

It is a nice, quite and very clean hotel with friendly staff. Parking is quite convenient, and well organised, despite of requirement of extra payment of $15 per day. The only thing we did not like was that, room rate does not include Internet, whereas free Wi-Fi is becoming quite common in many first class hotels. DC is in close reach, it takes about […] 30 minutes by metro. I would definitely consider staying there when I travel to DC area again. Would highly recommend to my friends. Mehr

The hotel was clean and staff friendly. We loved the Starbucks option. Gym is very nice with fresh fruit and water available. Near the metro too!

I needed quiet space after helping to host a 12 child birthday party sleepover the week before. I was getting wrangled into another party and I needed to be out of reach. This was the perfect place to go incognito It was quiet. Nice ambience. Restaurant very nice. There were other restaurants as well which brought an added bonus to the stay. Requested […] a refrigerator at the desk. When I got to room a frig was already in place, but it took less than 20 minutes for one to be brought to my room. Very good service indeed. The Bethesda North Marriott is an excellent property. The public areas are classy and very clean. The desk staff were very helpful and cordial. One morning I had the breakfast buffet and it presented a nice variety of food. The custom-made omelets were very good. It is evidently difficult restaurants to keep buffet items warm without them drying-out […] and as a result, customers usually have "hot" foods presented just warm. That was the case here. Nonetheless, the wait staff was very courteous and attentive. The guest rooms were quite adequate in size, very clean, well appointed. One of my pep peeves is finding mildew in the bathrooms. Unfortunately, there was a little mildew in the shower area, but otherwise very clean. I will gladly stay in this hotel again. Mehr

The hotel it self is very nice, very clean and very easy to navigate to. However, all the wonderful things about the hotel were over shadowed by the very rude attendant. Courtenea was her name, she didn't smile, didn't great us with kind words and instead of requesting another name the reservation could have been under, simply replied "well your not […] staying here." Regardless of how nice a place can be, if the service is poor then so is the stay. Mehr

The hotel was impressive. The staff was polite and efficient. The concierge was waiting to assist you eagerly from hailing a cab to changing a twenty dollar bill. Rooms were clean and the attention to detail was perfect. I was recovering from a medical procedure and never had to leave my room until my follow up appt the next day. I had everything I […] needed. For a hotel chain of this size I can't beleive they would not honor my reservation that included a free breakfast for 2 people. The chain claims it was an issue with expedia. I don't care who is to blame, the hotel should have made it right. If a multi billion dollar chain won't honor a free breakfast it makes me wonder what else are they doing to the […] customer. When I had an extra parking charge it took forever for the lady at the front desk to take the charge off my bill. Other then that great hotel.

All in all a very pleasant hotel experience. I asked for a room with a nice view, and got one. I recommend the hotel to all travelers!

No free baggage cart available for guests. Bedside table contained old food from previous guest; disgusting, but they gave us 2 complementary breakfasts and an apology. Curtain rod handle was broken. TV remote batteries were dead. Bath mat missing one day. Parking lot was open to arrivals, but when leaving you get caught in a Catch-22 where your room […] key won't work, and the computer didn't know we had a car and wouldn't let us leave. We had to wait for another guest whose key worked. No free internet except in lobby. Food was good. Exercise room was good. Many of the servers were good. No complementary coffee in lobby. No coffee before 7AM, except in room. Mehr

This is a very comfortable hotel directly across the street from the White Flint Metro Station Red Line.You won't need your car to visit the city! Metro Center is only 25 minutes away.There is a McDonalds across the street and convenient restaurants / delis within a few blocks off the Rockville Pike. Room is modern (hotel was built in 2004) with High […] Speed Internet (extra $12.59/night) and HD TV. Bed is great. Shower is "Rain Style" very nice, good pressure. Easy access to Parking. Did not use weight room or heated pool but they looked nice. Hotel was booked and a lot of kids but we were not bothered by any noise issues. Mehr

relatively new hotel - excellent rooms, friendly staff, can walk to Metro or to many NIH programs on Executive Blvd. Restaurant has great food.

Very nice hotel. I would stay there again if I was in the area.

The hotel was clean, indoor pool was great for the kids- would definately go back! Staff was also very friendly and accomodating.

The hotel does NOT have wireless Internet in the guest rooms. Wired LAN is not free either, it is a whooping 12 bucks a day. Very disappointing for a "business" hotel. Parking, which is outdoors, is another $15 a day. No fridge in the room although you can ask for one. The heater is very noisy, it almost bothers your sleep. Overall the hotel was nice. However the bathroom was in need of renovation/updating. The bathroom counter had huge cracks in it and a portion of it was very unleveled.

Hotel location right at White Flint Metro station is super! Wish the hotel would provide free coffee in the lobby--many lesser hotels do.

This hotel is very close to the White Flint Metro Station and a great shopping mall. I found it to be a bit expensive (they charge you for parking!), but I felt the comfort and on-site dining option along with the great property made it worth it. The room was samll, but who cares.
