Das Zimmer war so wie in der Anzeige beschrieben. Es sah genauso aus und war sehr schön für Pariser Verhältnisse. Es gab einen Flachbildfernseher mit Radiosendern, TV (wenige deutsche Sender), Kinofilmauswahl (gegen Gebühr- allerdings billiger als ein Kinobesuch zu hause), Spiele, Wetteranzeige und so weiter... Das war schon praktisch, wenn man zu kaputt […] war sich noch mehr anzuschauen. Die Minibar war nicht besonders gut. In diesem "Kühlschrank", der nur minimal kühl war, waren zum Beispiel auch ein Pringlespackung reingequetscht. So was habe ich noch nie gesehen. Es hätte sicherlich auch einen anderen Ort gegeben Pringles zu verkaufen und wenn sie so alt sind, dass sie im Kühlschrank liegen müssen, dann weiß ich auch nicht. Die klimaanlage hat zwar funktioniert, aber die angegebenen Temperaturen haben im Leben nicht gestimmt. Es war meistens ziemlich warm und man konnte nirgens Fenster öffnen. Das war ein sehr großer Nachteil. Als wir angereist sind, hat man uns zu erst ein Zimmer gegeben, was viel größer war als das gebuchten. Allerdings war es ein Raucherzimmer und es hat extrem, wirklich extrem nach Rauch gestunken. Dann sind wir zur Reception und wir haben sofort das gebuchte Zimmer bekommen. Der Service war wirklich sehr gut. Im Nachhinein haben wir vermutet, dass sie uns einen Gefallen tun wollten mit dem größeren Zimmer zum gleichen Preis. Es gibt durchaus Gäste, die Nichtraucher sind und mit diesem Geruch kein Problem haben, diese hätten sich dann sicher gefreut. Am Abreisetag wollte ich ins Flugzeug einchecken und das lief reibungslos am PC im Hotel (gegen geringe Gebühr-Tickets ausdrucken möglich). Alles in allem waren wir von dem Hotel begeistert. Hotel entsprach den Bewertungen - ich kann das Hotel nur weiterempfehlen

im Montparnasse gelegen, daher aber sehr ruhig. Hatten Glück mit Fenster zur Strasse, da Innenhof doch sehr beengt und trist. Bei Ankunft war Minibar-Kühlschrank defekt, trotz sofortiger Reklamation erfolgte Reparatur aber erst 2(!) Tage später. Ansonsten durchaus zufrieden und ausgewogenes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis (für Paris).

Lage in Sichtweite zum Eifelturm mit guter Anbindung per Bahn und zu den unzähligen Fahrradmietstationen. Sehr nettes Personal. Parken ist teuer (23 Euro/Tag). In direkter Umgebung unzählige Restaurants, viele Supermärkte und der Bahnhof. Zimmer waren in Ordnung, rochen aber leider muffig. Fenster waren nicht zu öffnen, nur Klima. Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe des Bahnhofs wie auch der Metrostation Montparnasse. Somit lassen sich alle Sehenswürdigkeiten gut erreichen. Das Hotel selbst ist sehr sauber und das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Preise für das Frühstück sind extrem überteuert. Wir junges Paar alter 21-23. Hotel war eine super Adresse für Jung oder alt. Es war eher ein Buisness Hotel. Zimmer sind sehr schön. Vom Service wirkt es schon wie ein 5 Sterne Hotel, Gepäck wird sogar aufs Zimmer gebracht. Wir hatten sogar einen direkten Blick auf den Eiffelturm (hab eine anfrage hingeschickt). Zu den Pariser sehenswürdigkeiten braucht […] man auch nicht lange,da der Gare Montparnasse sehr nah dran ist. Ärgerlich war nur hat man keine Kreditkarte dabei muss man Pro nacht pro Kopf 50 € Deposit zahlen, welche man dann natürlich wieder kriegt. Viele Essensmöglichkeiten sind in der näheren Umgebung, Hotel selbst ist sehr teuer. Kann jedem Empfehlen, der halt nicht gerne in einer Absteige schlafen will, dieses Hotel zu buchen. Mehr

Das Zimmer sehr sehr klein, Temperatur wohl verstellbar, aber es funktioniert nicht und somit total überhitzt. Nachttischlampe defekt, und wurde trotz Meldung nicht repariert, Fenster können nicht geöffnet werden. ABER das Continental Frühstück für 15 Euro, mit frischem Orangenjus, frischem Fruchtsalat, Brötchen, Butter, verschiedene Konfitüren und […] frischer Kaffee soviel man will ist ein Schnäppchen für Paris. Das Hotel liegt perfekt und für Paris ist der Preis gerechtfertigt und wir würden trotz den Nachteilen wieder hingehen Mehr

excellent would stay there again!

We stayed in the Hotel Concorde Montparnasse for 3nights in December. The location was great, close to two metro stations which made getting around very easy, 20 minutes approx. to all the sights by tram and half an hour to the Palace of Versailles. The neighbourhood seemed to be OK although the street were littered with rubbish most evenings! The staff […] in the hotel were not overly friendly but they helped us with whatever we needed. The rooms were small but having done some research prior to travelling we were made aware that this was the case in most hotels in Paris. We got a good deal on the room through a booking website, however it did not include breakfast and the food in the hotel was expensive!! Plently of cosy Pâtisserie's around to have your breakfast though and we found the Latin quarter great for restaurants. Overall the hotel was great for a couple on a budget who wanted to see the sights of Paris!! Mehr

Fairly close to metro access, train station, and Lafayette Galleries. Very pleasant staff. Very pleased with the hotel. Only inconvenience was that the water temperature in the shower would not remain constant - from start to finish it went through cold to hot cycles and the heating system in the room was extremely hot, but thankfully was able to open […] the window for ventilation. There is an electricty shortage when I arrived the Hotel. Terrible.

We choose this hotel because it was in our old neighborhood when we lived in Paris in 1989. Although some wonderful qualities there were 3 issues that hurt the stay. (1) We were trying to sleep in the first day and a constant hammering started in late morning right over our bedroom. Why be put in a room where this would go on? (2) We asked about the […] Musee D'Orsay being open and we were told it was at the front desk. When arriving it was not and told it had been this way for 25 years! (3) We asked for a wake up call and never got it and almost missed our plane! Over all the front desk was not very helpful (example: in getting a taxi). So overall....we were DISAPPOINTED! Mehr

The hotel was nice and in a good location. There plenty of restaurants and stores within short walking distance. I have a few complaints but I would still stay here again. First, the room I stayed in was very uncomfortable because the window didn't open and the thermostat was set at the lowest but still made the room stuffy and hot. Second, the room […] included free mini which consisted of nothing more but sodas but after I drank the two sodas it was never restocked and the fridge stunk of spoiled fruit and mildew. A plus was the free wifi. It was very slow for trying to skype but good for emailing. The reception desk people were very nice and helpful. I checked in an hour early with no problem and when checking out they offered to hold my luggage. All in all a very nice hotel! Didn't get the breakfast from the hotel just went across the street to a grocery store for drinks and then purchased pastries from a bakery a few blocks away eating breakfast in the room for much less than hotel breakfast. If you have your own overseas delivery car this is the place to stay, private secured garage is under hotel. Only gripe I have is nor beer in mini bar, so why do they call it a mini bar. No explanation from mngmt for this except to say the current owners took all alcohol out of the rooms a week before we got there. Room service was very slow also so […] if you are like me and like a drink or two while you relax before bed then bring your own. It took 1 1/2 hours to get a sandwich and beer. Mehr

A clean,modern,well appointed hotel with a friendly staff. Good location, close to metro and train station, that offers parking at a reasonable price.

Nice hotel with small, modern rooms in a great location. Very convenient to metro and trains. Hotel staff are nice and knowledgable.

The location of the hotel is excellent; close to Central rail station and several Metro lines. Many good restaurants in the area, including resonably priced restaurants. Hotel room are clean and have all the basic necessities. The staff is friendly and about half are English speaking. On the negative side there was no hotel guide to show what services […] were available. When we entered, the room safe did not work. We reported it about four times a day for four days before we gave up. The safe was never fixed. Mehr

Poor maintenance of drain. Bath tub.

The hotel is not close to any museum or landmark, but close to metro station, and easy to go anywhere by underground train.

I was in Paris for a business trip. Everything was moving so quickly that when I was booking this hotel I accidently booked the day before my arrival. Hotels.com called the Hotel and without problem the Hotel rebooked my rooms without a problem. When getting to the Hotel I was greet warmly and the rooms were perfectly comfortable for a good nights rest. […] Next morning get up and walk to Tour Montparnasse less than 5 min walk. Just around the corner from the hotel you can also see a stunning view of the Eiffel Tower. Would stay here again and recommend it to anyone. Mehr

My wife and spent three days at this hotel and when we left we wished we would have stayed longer. The location of this hotel is as good as it can be in Paris i.e. close to metros, cafes, and restaurants like le Dome, La Coupole, etc ... The staff was very nice and helpful. But what will make us come back here, and we will, is the manager. He went to […] a great length to help us. We had a parking problem. He solved it in two seconds. I asked him for his name to congratulate him here personnally. But he refused, saying that our satisfaction is really the result of a team effort. This was the BEST place that we could have stayed on our Paris vacation. We have stayed here twice and we will stay here again and reccommend it to all our friends. We have been to Paris three times this past year and the other hotel that we chose was a disaster. However, staying at this hotel was worth every penny that we spent. We stayed at this hotel at the end of our French tour. Having paid extra to have access to free soft drinks from the mini bar, only to discover that the fridge did not work. This was reported to staff but the problem was not solved during the time we were there (3 days). We were told that we just needed to call room service and drinks would be supplied […] at no further cost, but this was either very slow in arriving or did not arrive at all. We only had breakfast once during our stay and were billed for a full breakfast when we only had a continental breakfast. This charge was completely waived, not because it was incorrect but as recompense for the other issues we had. Mehr

The desk staff was always extremely helpful and pleasant. The hallways and at times the room had a very unpleasant odor. The housekeeping staff was observed playing around in a guest room. To be fair, I wasn't sure if it was occupied. The Metro station is very convenient, but we had to walk through a gauntlet of characters, smoke and trash (some canine. […] If you stay there walk on the other side of the street to the station, it will be safer all around. The location of the hotel is 5-10 mins walk from the montparness bienvenou metro station. This station provides many line options so take this one rather than the Gaile metro stop as it only has access to one line. The Paris metro system is very well integrated with intuitive maps and directions at each station. The walk to/from the hotel is enjoyable […] as it appears to be a safe neighborhood with nice cafes and pastry shops. The walk may be tiring for ones who would rather not walk that much. Hotel: The front desk staff were very helpful and provided us with a room that had a view of the eiffel tower. Make sure to request this before your arrival or at your arrival as it is only provided if requested. The standard room was small but very clean. The washroom was also small but had all the necessities and toiletries. Overall, my bf and I really enjoyed our stay in Paris. This hotel was a good price with good clean modern rooms. We look forward to our visit back to Paris in the near future! Mehr

My only issue is that they charge you for internet use. You have to pay to use their wi-fi service.

Hotel charged 23 Euro for breakfast. OH hotel but will never stay again. Why do they let themselves down by blatant overcharging

The space of the room is not too big just like normal hotel room in Paris. The location of the hotel was not close to Metro, a little walk; but it's very convenient if you need to catch a flight to the airport. The airport shuttle bus stop is just 2 minutes walking distance. One bad thing is the water temp. is not constant at all. So when you take a […] shower, the water can be very hot for 2 sec. and gets cold the next sec. This is really bad. The hotel lobby was not big but at least a lot of seating area. The staff speaks English. However, I've waited 45 minutes to get my luggage deliver to my room. I would recommend to other people but it's just an okay hotel with a high price. Mehr

Highly recommend this hotel! Great location, very customer friendly atmosphere. We will definitely stay there again!

Good location, close to metro. Authentic Parisian neighborhood. On same metro line as Gard du Nord for those arriving from London on Eurostar. Comfortable beds, fine room. Only problem was Paris in April was having a heatwave and the air conditioning could not cope!

Room was clean and spacious for a European hotel. The staff was helpful and all staff spoke English. It was located near trains, taxis, and plenty of nice restaurants. The only concern was that the air conditioning was not "true air conditioning." The room was very warm and even setting the thermostat at 15 degrees celcius, the room really never got […] cool enough. Overall though, it was a very pleasant hotel. Mehr

The Hotel Concorde Montparnasse was so easy to get to. Les Cars Air France has inexpensive buses running every 30 mins from Orly and CDG airports that drop you off at Gare Montparnasse train station, not two blocks from the entrance to the hotel. Buy a roundtrip ticket in advance to save money. The trip from CDG (via Gare de Lyon) took about an hour. Nearby […] the hotel, there's a major train station, plenty of restaurants, pharmacies, and movie theaters. You're a short metro ride from the center of Paris, but the area around the hotel never feels overrun with tourists. Now, this may seem petty, but in such a digital age, this is something worth mentioning: What I found frustrating was the hotel wifi. I had to organize several aspects of my trip using the wifi on my smartphone, so I was disappointed when every evening, after a day of decent reception, the wifi would cut out and stop connecting for hours (for the techies, I was on a moto droid; my girlfriend's iphone never even detected a signal). The lobby had decent reception, though still temperamental. To be fair, I never used the wired connection available in my room, but I was travelling sans laptop. There was also a slightly unpleasant smell in the lobby (never the room), but I wouldn't condemn my otherwise lovely stay for that reason. It very well could have been just for that weekend. At the Concorde Montparnasse, the staff was extremely helpful, friendly, and responsive to my requests. If such a good deal as the one I got is available the next time I find myself in Paris, I'll likely stay with them again. Mehr

Overall, almost everything a traveler needs are provided in this hotel. The free internet access in the room is a great advantage especially for business purposes. It allows us to do work away from home or office...makes one feel always connected. Another thing is the good location. It is right next to the train station, Metro, and airport shuttle […] stop. Also very near shopping, restaurants, brasseries, cafes... There was a day housekeeping personnel did not put back the glasses in the room after cleaning. This is minor and can be improved. Otherwise, of all the hotels we have stayed during our 3 week European trip I would rate this the best. Mehr

Hotel is in a very nice location close to the train station and has a mini-market across the street. Regarding our actual room, the TV did not work for the 1st day and took a while to actually get fixed. The room temperature was a bit too high and we could not adjust it. It's my 2nd time staying at Concorde Montparnasse Paris. The hotel seems not improving much. I encountered similar problem in the room: 1) Feel too warm & stuffy due to lack of air from the air vent. 2) Slow water drainage while using shower.

Lovely hotel with attentive helpful staff. We booked the standard room and had a garden facing room on the top (7th) floor. Room very small (Only just space to get suitcase between bed and desk). Bed was very comfortable. The wardrobe was tiny with 6 hangers , it was not broad enough to hang a mans coat and close the door. The main fault with the room […] was the air-conditioning which we could not control. The room was very warm and a bit stuffy in the mornings. The bathroom was small with over bath shower , kept very clean with some nice complimentary toiletries. Ventilation in bathroom bit of an issue, it gets very steamy after a shower and no obvious fan. It may seem like long list of complaints but we thought on the whole this was a great hotel for Paris standards and the price we paid. The real advantage to this hotel is it's proximity to montparnasse bienvenue metro. This is a great metro interchange for travelling all over Paris. The main train station above is also the place to get TGV to the South and West of France. Mehr

extremely well located, close to everything, good beds, bathrooms, metro station and train station very close, restaurants, supermarkets.

Convenient location and very comfortable hotel with friendly staff. Also, thanks to the person who walked out her way to help us find the hotel. Not true all you hear about Parisiennes. If I return to Paris I know the hotel I will be staying at.

Excelent location with three Metro stations in easy walk and lots of good restaurants both close to the hotel and in centre of Montparnasse (10 mins walk). Room was exceptionaly clean and a quite spacious for Paris!
