Das Hotel ligt an der Hauptstrasse und ist gut als Übernachtung auf der Durchreise. Kein Frühstück.

Das eingeschlossene Frühstück war ein Witz: Kaffee und ein Muffin, vielleicht noch eine Banane auf klitzekleinem Raum. In meinem Zimmer ein Bett aus Baumstämmen, so hoch, dass ich am liebsten eine Leiter gehabt hätte, also absolut sehenswert. Bei geschlossener Tür konnte man nach außen sehen, so groß waren die Spalte zwischen Tür und Türrahmen. Im Winter […] muss das schrecklich kalt werden. Habe trotz allem gut geschlafen. Mehr

Von Außen macht das Motel einen schlechteren Eindruck als es tatsächlich bietet. Saubere und geräumige Zimmer, WLAN, TV. Lediglich die vielen lärmenden Züge in der Nacht nerven! Preis-Leistungs-mäßig aber TOP!

it was a perfect place for a stop over on the way to grand canyon and Flagstaff itself was very charming.

I went with this hotel by looking at the ratings it had received. My experience was very similar to everyone else who had written reviews for this place. Very clean, friendly staff, beds were very comfortable and for the price I paid, it was totally worth it. Hotel was great! Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Staff was great! Easy to find and walking distance to numerous eating places and shops. Would definitely stay here again!

I just stayed at this great motel again with some friends. For the price and location it cant be bettered. I will stay again. Owners are very nice people, wifi is great, free and no hassle.

We needed place to stay for one night before catching the Amtrak. This motel was low-priced but neat and clean. It is located across the street from the NAU campus and within walking distance of the Amtrak station. If all you want is a clean bed for the night, you can't beat the price and convenience of the Highland.

Nothing fancy, just a place to hang our hat. It was clean, friendly, conveniently located and great for the price.

We rarely spend time in our room, so all that we expect is for it to be clean and quiet. I heard the train noise that people were talking about in other reviews (only because I happened to be up already). It is absolutely nothing to complain about (at least from Room 214). Basically, it's about as audible as a quiet air conditioner -- just a very distant […] rumbling. And there is no possible way that the noise would have woken me if I were asleep. The bed, carpet and bathroom were clean. We loved having the fridge and microwave. Wi-Fi was a little slow, but reliable. Location was the perfect starting point for our Grand Canyon and Sedona side trips. Front desk staff was very friendly, fast, and helpful. Mehr

Clean comfortable room in a central location, with friendly staff.

We chose this hotel to compare to our own Lodge with the same rating. It was a nice clean comfortable night's stay. Management took time to answer questions we had about their operation, as well.

Walking distance from campus and downtown. Great rates and friendly staff. Quality soap and shampoo and comfortable bed but firm. I will come back.

This is a nice hotel and very affordable. The location is perfect to many things to do in Flagstaff. My only complaint is that I asked for extra towels and pillows when I reserved the room and they were not in the room when we checked in. An in room coffee pot would have been nice but Starbucks is close by.

I liked the free coffee and tee the most ;-) The staff was friendly, the room ok, overall a nice stay.

The Highland Country Inn in Flagstaff Arizona is our favorite place to stay in Flag. It is always obsessively clean, comfortable bed, fridge & microwave for an unbelievably low price. Clean room, comfy bed, close to freeway location. Good business stay for great rate.

We arrived late at night and we're helped immediately. We also loved their laundry facilities. It was a quiet hotel even though it was on a busy street. The free coffee in the lobby was great.

this place is always comfortable, courteous and friendly. the location is very convenient too. you can walk downtown in 10 minutes! and the internet is very fast!

You get what you pay for. This motel is old and very basic. You do get a microwave and refrigerator in the room. The room had a HORRIBLE smell - like a sickening "air freshener". It was OK for a one night stay.

Hotel is near Northern Arizona University on Route 66. Looks older on the outside but the rooms are newly remodeled inside. Stayed for 1 night. Location is near many restaurants and a good base for visiting many area attractions. Good value, would stay there again.

Location of hotel was convenient for my needs. Hotel was very bland but clean. Virtually no amenities. Priced accordingly.

everytime I visit Flagstaff, I will be staying at this hotel.

Good location to the city center. Management was nice and check in and out was easy. Room was bland but clean and the pillows sucked but the bed was comfy. I would stay here again. Limited parking but the hotel was not full

Close to resturants, shopping and NAU. The room was clean and adequate for the price.

I've stayed many times during bried trips to Flag, and this is the best place in town at a budget price and as good as a lot of more expensive places.

I almost always stay at this hotel when I go to see my daughter at NAU. I've looked on-line for hotels that might be better deals - but I keep going back to Highland Country Inn. Why take a chance on a hotel that I might not like when I love Highland Country Inn? They have microwaves, mini refrigerators, and hair dryers. I've heard people complain that […] they have no coffee pot in the room. Not a problem for me as they have coffee & tea in the office. If I forget something I need, the office has always been able to supply what I needed. They have also been very helpful in lending snow removal equipment when needed. Once they even helped give me push start as I was stuck on the ice in the parking lot. Mehr

This is a very standard motel but very clean with comfortable beds, very servicable bathroom, good shower. It is close to downtown (drivable by 2 minutes, walkable by about 15 minutes). If you need an inexpensive place to stay in Flagstaff, I highly recommend this place.
