Wunderschöne Anlage etwas außerhalb vom Stadtzentrum von Palm Springs. Schöne Wohnungen mit Küche , Waschmaschine , Trockner , Grill auf dem Balkon . Eigene Garage mit 2 Fahrrädern inklusiv. Aufenthalt war einfach zu kurz.

Zimmer waren sauber, Pool war super, Lage sehr gut, sehr erholsam, würden das Hotel wieder buchen.

Sonoran Suites of Palm Springs at Canterra in Palm Desert befindet sich in der Wüste in der Nähe von Desert Willow Golf Resort, Rancho Las Palmas Country Club und The Gardens on El Paseo. Westfield Palm Desert Shopping Center ist eine weitere in der Nähe gelegene Sehenswürdigkeit.

Zum Freizeitangebot der Unterkunft Sonoran Suites of Palm Springs at Canterra gehören: 2 Außenpools, Whirlpool und Fitnessmöglichkeiten. Palm Desert ist eine Stadt für die Künste aller Richtungen. Die Stadt bezeichnet sich selbst als Museum ohne Wände und zeigt über 130 Skulpturen in öffentlichen Räumen sowie auf Plätzen und Wegen. Broadway-Stücke und bekannte Musiker füllen die Plätze des McCallum Theatre. Für Souvenirjäger ist El Paseo das ideale Ziel. Dieser Stadtteil bietet über 300 Geschäfte, von denen sich viele hinter bunt dekorierten Fassaden befinden.

"nice surprise"
The first thing you need to realize is that these units are apartments in an apartment complex. They are fully furnished and huge. It would be nice if booking told you what unit you were getting ahead of time. I booked last minute for my crew and i booked 3 1 bedroom units at a fair price. When we arrived we ended up with 2 2 bedrooms and 1 3 bedroom […] unit. If i had known ahead of time i could have booked the 3 bedroom. All in all very nice units. Mehr

"Very comfortable condo"
Not really a hotel but a condo complex in which you can rent a unit for a limited time. We stayed 2 nights with our adult children and having a full kitchen and separate bedrooms was perfect for us. (Note that there's a cleaning fee.) Nice swimming pool and hot tub. We mostly wanted to hike at Joshua Tree but compromised convenience of the location […] to have a nicer place to stay and were happy with our choice. Mehr

The suite was actually in an apartment neighborhood which was not disclosed to me. There is no hotel staff on site which wasn't told to me either. The check in procedure was a pain. No one informed me that I had to get in touch with the staff and send picture messages via cell phone to someone on there staff since there is no one that works there. Seemed […] a little odd to send pics of my cc to someones cell phone. The actual room and facility was nice. I just think some of this infor should have been told to me before I booked. If I didn't call to ask a few questions I wouldn't of known that I needed to do all this stuff beforehand and wouldn't have been able to check in. Mehr

The condo was clean and fully equipped, the location of the condo was right next to pool/spa - pool was closed for maintenance. The condo is in a nice safe neighborhood and a short drive away from shops/eateries. The condo complex was residential not just for vacationers. "Stay at Sonoran"
Stayed there with 4 guys on a golf weekend, Its a residential apartment complex but very nice with pool and Jacuzzi. Units are nice. Our room wasn't clean when we got there at 5:00pm - finally clean at 7:00pm. However, the management staff was accomodating in giving us a discount for the inconvenience Would definitely use again for a golf weekend
"Cross this place off your list!"
This place does not deserve your consideration for several reasons. From the very start it was a giant hassle because they won't even give you an entry code till you sign away all your rights under their rental agreement and fax it back to their main office in AZ! They will not refund any portion of your money for ANY reason. Way over-rated dump with […] lousy service. Lots of better places to stay in the Palm Springs area! This is not a typical condo stay because there is no frontdesk checkin or services.you are given code to let yourself in.the unit was large ,clean ,well stocked.nice condos.pool very nice but not heated.be aware of extra 35 fee resort fee.

Our 3 bedroom condo was exactly what we needed. The condo was in excellent condition, had clean, comfortable beds and was located in a very nice community. My only complaint was the lack of free wi-fi. The condo's wireless server showed up on my laptop, but was locked and no password was given to me.
"Good vacation rental"
Stayed for a couple nights with some friends and we really enjoyed-Full Kitchen, living and dining area and three bedroom made for a large area--Location is great next to lots of restaurants/dining and we were able to play a couple rounds of golf that was also close by-Good place-I will come back often

This place was much larger than I ever imagined and in a beautiful area. Took my family for a quick getaway and this is more of a home away from home. Large kitchen, living, and dining area. I have seen some good and bad reviews, but I personally think this place deserves a lot more credit than it sometimes receives. The pool, spa tub, and fitness centers are nice, the units spacious and the rates incredible. "Stayed at Encalves Condo"
When getting my confirmation confirmed I was told that the Enclaves Condos were a little nicer and newer than Canterra. So I went for it, I really enjoyed my stay the condo was nice but definately can tell it is a rental unit with scuffs on the wall, etc. Also, I wish it was a little cleaner the bathrooms had dust and hair in them. I have read other […] reviews on staying at these types of condos. Yes, it is like being at a friends house but make sure you figure out what you want on where you are going to stay if you want a resort type of atmosphere with room service than do not stay here, but if you want to get away cook your own food and have the luxuries of being at home then this may work for you since the condo is pretty much equipped with everything you will need. The pool and complex were awesome and of course like anywhere you are going and if you are not familiar with the area, yes you will get lost so try to arrive during daytime hours so you can easliy find the condo. Make sure you have all the codes you need to get into the condo before going, there is a key box by the front door, because the company renting out the condo is in Arizona. I took the family for a relaxing weekend away and decided to book Sonoran due to the great price. The reviews have been mixed, but I have to say most of the disappointment looks like it comes from people not realizing this is more of a vacation rental/condo set up and they think this is a hotel. Just a weekend getaway with the family. I would certainly come back. Please let it be known this is not a hotel but a condo setup. Pool is large and nice and is open unlike one review I read. It's well worth the price for what you get. Enjoy the stay!
"Perfect for Friends and Family"
My family and I decided to take a last minute trip to Palm Desert and came across this property at an unbelievable price. Just to let you know, this is not a hotel. It's a vacation rental that is fully furnished with a LARGE living/dining area. This was perfect for our family as there really isn't any other accomodations that are able to accomodate […] a family of 7 like ours. The location is conveniently located to dining/restaurants and the views around the area are great. I have already made plans to comeback and enjoy the wonderful pool/spa!! "Sonoran of Palm Springs is in Palm Desert"
Stayed here for 2 nights in na 3 br suite. The pool closest to our room was closed. Wasn't told about this ahead of time. Kids were really disaapointed. The rooms are dated. Old shag carpet, old TV's and old appliances. Don't waste your money. Stay at the Marriott Villas nearby. I have stayed they and those places blow these suites away.
Unfortunately, the city of Palm Desert was doing some repairs to the main pool during this guest's stay. We are a vacation rental company that operates from a different location than where our units are located. The decision to make repairs to the pool was last minute and was solely the decision of the city. The property does have two pools and one of them is open at all times. We appologize for any and all inconveinences this may have cause and hope you come back to give us a second chance. The pool has since been fixed and everthing is in working order. We apprecitate your feedback as this only helps us get better as a company.

We were not aware that we would be staying in a residential complex with no onsite "hotel" staff to assist us if needed. THe Sonoran "staff" was located in Phoenix and was fairly helpful over the phone although could not solve certain issues because they were not onsite. THe first problem we had was simply checking in. THey said they had emailed me […] check in information which I did not receive. THey did try to contact me at my home number on the day of checkin which didn't help since I was in route to their location, I had to call Hotels. com to have them contact Sonoran because they do not answer their phone nor do they provide a way to leave a message. After finally obtaining the codes to access the building and keys to the unit we were next disappointed to not have received the bed configuration we requested. We requested 1 king; 2 twins and 2 twins, We received 3 kings. Having 3 adults and 3 teens this made our stay a bit of a hassle. Next we noticed that the carpet was badly stained - found a use ashtray full of ashes, etc in the kitchen drawer - and the smoke detector was in a 2nd drawer with the batteries removed, Imagine how sound we slept without at least a working smoke detector. I could go on but why would anyone want to keep reading.... I Strongly suggest finding another place to stay. Mehr
Our goal at Sonoran Suites is to provide exceptional accomodations and service. We encourage feedback (both positive and negative) as this only makes us better as a company. We used to be listed as a condo vacation rental, but this title no longer exist on the website. We are not trying to fool anyone into believing we are anything other than a condo vacation rental and we are certainly NOT a hotel. Prior to booking, the guest must choose between a one, two, or three bedroom condo. Like any hotel, we do require a credit card to be on file (and guest policies if possible) for any incidentals that may occur during you stay. To assist our guests, we have onsite property management that is in charge of any maintenance/emergencies that may occur and we have onsite housekeeping to take care of any other issues. For any last minute reservations, we can not guarantee your requested bed setup.

"Sonoran Sweet!!!"
For anyone that may be torn between staying here or not, I would like to take this opportunity to let them know I was very, very, very happy with the overall "package" I received. The price was phenomenal and the ammenities (Two pools, two spa tubs, a nine-hole putting green, and the 24-hour exercise room) were great.

I was extremely happy with the size and location of my condo!! It had a wide open living area that made me feel relaxed and satisfied. it was convienetly located to some great restaurants. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone traveling alone or for a family!!
"great room for the money"
This recent stay that gas was turned off with stove and oven. I was disappointed that no one checked to see if everything was working for the renter. This time there was no cable for kids to watch cartoon network. On this occasion my kids were bored and there is no blockbuster nearby to rent movies for them.

"Great Price, Wonderful Location, Quiet... Perfect"
My husband, myself, our 4 month old daughter, and my sister all stayed here. It was great! It is an apartment complex so there are year round residents. All of the residents were very nice and helpful... not loud or rude as some other reviews remarked. We had a downstairs unit (1811) that was right across from the pool. Granted it was waaaaay too hot […] to go outside (we traveled in July... so it was a balmy 118 outside!), but the sheer convenience of its location was wonderful. The complex was totally quiet when we arrived home around 9:30pm. Everyone seemed to respect the 10pm no noise policy. Beds were comfy, place was clean, refridgerator was cool, place was roomy... couldn't really ask for anything more. Yes, the A/C unit was right outside the master bedroom so it was a little noisier than what we are used to, but nothing ear plugs couldn't solve. We woke up well rested! The location is very convenient to the I-10, El Paseo, grocery stores, restaurants... and for the price it was the best place around. Could have stayed at a hotel for double what we paid for an apartment! So... we will stay here again any time of year. Mehr
