What do you expect? It's a cheap hotel! I was there for 4 days. I expected a less than glamorous room. The old TV had poor reception, there were no plugs available to plug in phone chargers, the chain and other "extra" security locks were broken. The bathroom vanity looked like I built it in my back yard, and the refrigerator froze my beer. The bathroom […] wall had some suspect brown smears near the toilet. Hmmm, (they looked old too.) The bathroom door had been nailed back together from having been smashed down. The carpet was nasty looking and even had a nice burnt spot in the shape of an iron. The tub didn't have too many hairs from the previous guest but the water was hot and I didn't have to fiddle with the drain too much to get it to close. The AC unit worked pretty darn good. No elevator to second floor which is actually about 3 stories up from the ground. I woke up feeling bruised all over, but the sheets "looked" clean enough. You need to pay twice as much to get a decent place, or you can stay here for half the price and put up with ugly. I have stayed in a LOT of hotels. Most of them classy and expensive. I'm pretty sure I have stayed in an uglier room, I don't remember though. All this said, I'd stay there again if I needed a cheap hotel. Mehr

Overall cleanliness of the room was quite good, although the building itself was rather run down. It was a coin toss as to getting polite service at the front desk, it depended on who was there. The free breakfast they offered was, well, let's say it was worth exactly what we paid for it.

This was THE WORST hotel I have ever stayed at in my life (and I have stayed in a lot of hotels due to work). The room smelled awful, and the bed consisted of a two inch mat on top of a box spring. The shower had some sort of substance underneath the flooring, causing it to bubble up whist showering. There were also bullet holes unsuccessfully covered […] up by some drywall. There is a speed bump in the front of the parking lot that was so high my car bottomed out in three different spots going over it at a speed of maybe 3 mph. Easy to find, fairly clean, appliances work, hot shower, comfy bed, coffee and snacks in the morning. Smoking room did not smell nasty but did have some cigarette stains/ burns (understandably). This is a very old hotel. The staff is friendly. The room is cleaned but we can see it is quite outdated. The mattress says 'made for Marriot'. We guess it was purchased as the leftover from a Marriot Hotel. The breakfast has virtually no food with only a few muffins. The location is good as it is close to a mall and many businesses.

This hotel is very old and run down. The bathroom had a wooden frame for the sink. There wasn't a hairdryer and the airconditioner was very loud. The towels were clean but thin. We will stay at another place next time in San Antonio.

The things that were given as amenities were not available. the location was not what was detailed as to distance from Ft. Sam Huston, and the party from the Knights Inn right next door all night... made it for a sleepless night

This is an older hotel. The l bathroom is small, they kept the room clean, the AC was cold to freeze ( had to turn it down), the refrigerator and microwave both work. Mattress not that great but did not give me a backache, I don't think there is a pool, the WiFi does not always work. Best of all the place was quiet! Would recommend to travelers on a […] budget. I've stayed at other hotels, and they have a selection for breakfast besides muffins. I always thought that a continental breakfast included regular and decaff coffee, cereals, milk.

Descent for the price. I got two rooms both had clean carpets. Beds were hard but no bed bugs. Restrooms needed renovation, tile was old, tubs need to be cleaner. Towels were plenty and clean. The bathroom was a total nightmare. It looked as if someone began the renovations and decided to quit after completing 10 percent of it. The rest of the room as clean but nothing to rave about. All in all, the room was sufficient for the overnight stay I booked it for.

Well what can i say its cheap on price but ok to sleep and shower had no wifi only internet line which i forgot to pack a cat5 cable well you get what you pay staff was friendly its good given the price.

Convenient place to sleep. Clean and good for the price. The room and beds are good. I would have liked it more if the bathroom would have been in a better condition the day we arrived (it didn't smell well at all). We stayed for 2 nights and the second night was cleaner, nothwithstanding the appliances in the bathroom deserve a renovation.

I was visiting San Antonio for a business trip and decided to stay in this hotel, not only because it was cheaper for the time I was staying, but the proximity to Ft. Sam Houston, the airport, shopping, and food. It was actually so convenient for me since food and shopping were down the street and if I wanted to go around the area, places were close. […] The staff is available 24/7 which was good in case I needed something, but I since I had pre-paid for the stay, I could leave the key in the room for checkout once I left early in the morning. The hotel was an older property that was located in a nice and safe area. The room had basic ammenities but was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioner worked really well. There were NO bed bugs. I would stay there again.

Electrical Outlet sizzled when bumped. When reported to front desk all they did was unplug lamp from outlet. Was a little worried about a short and fire hazzard. This hotel was in a great location, we were 15 minutes frome every location we wanted to go and theres plenty of places to eat on the same street. So if your like me and afraid of getting lost this hotel was good there was a walmart a couple of blocks down and a little shopping plaza and bowling. it was perfect for us

Was greeted warmly and checked it quickly. Despite requesting non-smoking rooms none were available. The staff explained how the electronic system used by hotelscom doesn't specify smoking/non-smoking. As this was St. Patty's Day and Spring break of course nothing else was available. The room was small and not so much dirty as run down. There was visible […] wear on the mattress. But I could not find evidence of bed-bugs. The toilet paper was placed in a location that is exactly under my right elbow. ( i.e. difficult to use ). My parents found a large roach in their adjacent bathroom. The staff was very nice and pleasant. The hotel was a bit aged, but clean. The biggest problem was noise from other guests as the walls were a bit thin. Over all, it was comfortable and clean and was in a good place for what we needed.
