Das Hotel ist wirklich super. Parkplatz kostenlos im eigenen Parkhaus. Zimmer sind sauber und geräumig. Das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Es gibt ein sehr gutes Frühstück, auch warme Speisen und Waffelautomaten:-) dazu gibt es noch zwischen 17.30 und 19.00Uhr ein paar warme Snacks, Chicken Tenders, Maccaroni mit Käsesoße usw. dazu 3 Freigetränke, auch alkoholisch. Wir waren mit diesem Hotel rundrum zufrieden.

Das Hotel bietet sich an, um einen Kurzurlaub in der Nähe von St Louis zu machen. Mit dem Auto sind es 15 min bis nach St Louis (Gateway Arch...). Frühstück in Ordnung (in der Lobby). Für ein bis zwei Nächte völlig ausreichend.

Das Hotel hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Einrichtung entspricht sehr hohen europäischen Standards. Man hat sich sofort wohl und gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Das Motto des Hotels ist der Weltraum - Mond und Astronauten sind fast überall present und perfekt ins Design integriert. Es wurde viel Liebe zum Detail angewendet und die Möbel sowie die Farbgestaltung sind einmalig! Im 8. Stock befindet sich die Hotel-eigene Bar, welche den Gesamteindruck stilvoll abrundet. Das Moonrise Hotel liegt an einer der 10 berühmtesten Strassen (Delmar Loop) von Amerika mit trendigen Shops und In-Lokalen. Es ist absolut empfehlenswert - würde jederzeit wieder hin!

Toller Service am Empfang, nettes Personal, leckeres Frühstücksbuffet für 10 Dollar m frisch.Obst, Pancakes, Müsli, leckerer Kuchen, Showcooking der Frühstücksomlets einfach nur gut! Sehr schönes Zimmer, kein Fluglärm, obwohl direkt am APT (3 Miles) Zimmer mit Kühli, Internet, Flatscreen TV, Bügeleisen, Föhn, Kaffemasch... Tolle bequeme Betten Alle 15 Min Shuttle z APT, holen Dich auch bei der Mietwagengesellschaft ab oder bringen Dich hin! Es passt einfach alles....

Was a perfect place to stay overnight on our recent trip. Helpful staff and comfortable room.
"Nothing Super (8)"
The beds were ridiculously uncomfortable, and there seems to have been a herd of cattle in the room upstairs from mine. Won't be staying there again.

Stayed here on the way to a family function in St. Louis. Construction on I55 made it a little difficult to find entrance but we did. Carpet in the hallway was dirty and had a funky smell. But our room was clean and comfortable. Liked the light blue sheets, nice change from standard white. Towels were kind of scratchy. Sink was right inside the door, […] which made it awkward coming and going. Basic breakfast offered in lobby but we chose to walk across the parking lot to the Cracker Barrel for breakfast. Staff very pleasant. Overall, I would say this is a good place for people who are traveling and need a decent place to stay for one night. Mehr

"Hard to find - lots of construction"
Altho this motel is just off the interstate, there is a huge amount of construction going on all around it making it difficult to locate, even with a GPS. We made several wrong attempts before we finally got to the front of the motel. Nice first floor room but NO luggage stand in the room which means you have to put your suitcase on the floor or figure […] out another way which my husband did by pushing the coffee table up against the wall & using it for a luggage rack. There was plenty of room for one, first motel in a long time where there wasn't one - & we could usually use 2! Seems like a dumb thing not to have in a motel room! The room that I stayed in would have been fine if the air conditioner didn't leak water all over the floor and there was not mold in the bathroom. As hot as it has been as as hard as the AC has had to work it is not a surprise. I do think though that the AC had been leaking for a while. The first night I slept in there I woke up with a sore throat and […] headache but felt better as soon as I left for the day. The following morning same thing but worse. We stayed twice in a four day period, once on the way to our final destination, and then on the way back home. The location is convenient to the interstate, but construction currently makes the entrance a bit tricky. We were pleasantly surprised by the room the first night, which was no smoking on the first floor, but the second night, which was no […] smoking on the second floor, there was a slight "off" smell to the room. We were very pleased with the service. There is a competing hotel next door that should be avoided. This Super 8 is a great deal with great service.

For the money, it seemed like a nice hotel. I wouldn't say that it was great. They skimp on towels in the bathroom and the showed didn't drain very quickly. We booked a king and the bed was definitely not a king. We weren't familiar with the area so getting into the parking lot seemed a little tricky but not bad. Felt like a safe place to stay. "Good Hotel for the Price"
We stayed at the Super 8 for just one night as we were visiting SIUE. The hotel was clean and the decor was nice. The room was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The temperature was easy to control and I liked that. The bathroom fan was really loud when the light was turned on, so we just used the restroom without light when possible. […] We did not plan to swim, but we did see a notice posted on the door stating the pool was shut down by the Public Health Department because of an imbalance in the chemicals! Lots of road construction making it hard to get to hotel. The room was comfortable and clean. The only complaint is that there was a banging noise - don't think it was the people next door. We think maybe it was the compressor on the fridge in the room or possibly the pipes. Whatever it was - it woke us up in the middle of the night.

"Cheap Lodging!"
I was supposed to arrive in Troy around 5:30 PM, but due to a cancelled flight out of Dallas, I didn't arrive at the motel until midnight. The young lady behind the desk was very nice and helpful. This hotel could use a face-lift, but the room was clean and my first night there was a quiet one. The second night, someone with a guitar moved into the […] adjoining room next to me and proceeded to play it (and sing!) off and on from about 7:00 until 10:30. I realize this isn't the fault of the motel staff, but the walls are thin. Also, if anybody is out in the corridor talking or going in and out of their room, you can easily hear that too. For the money though, overall, it wasn't a bad stay. There was free breakfast every morning, but I didn't have any, so I can't speak as to how that was. Currently, there is a lot of road construction going on in the area of the hotel and that was a bit of a pain, but manageable. Mehr
The hotel in Troy was way better than we thought it would be. Very impressive front lobby. Wonderful room and great breakfest. I can think of nothing but good things to say about this hotel.

Wonderful experience for me and my family. Nice beds. Nice room. Nice swimming pool. Nice stay in Troy. Will stay at Super 8 again on our way back.

Good hotel to stay. Road construction around made it a bit challenging in the dark, but not bad. Taco Bell and Cracker Barrel in the same parking lot and PH.66 gas across the street makes it convenient.

Front desk staff was very helpful. The room was clean, spacious, and quiet. Breakfast was basic but good nonetheless. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this location and would stay here again.

We have stayed at this Super 8 on several occasions, as we have family that live in the area. This hotel serves its purpose very well. We did not spend much time there though... mainly just slept there this time. We have used the pool in the past and it was always relaxing.
