Beachbreak by the Sea - Panama City Beach

Lage wunderschön, Hotel ein Albtraum. Heruntergekommene Zimmer, Putzeimer mit schwarzer Dreckbrühe im Flur, miserables Frühstück. Wir hatten drei Nächte gebucht, sind aber nach einem Tag abgereist.

Hat uns gut gefallen. Nur der Service war nicht gut. WiFi nur in der Lobby. Keine Anrufe vom Zimmer mit der Callingcard.

wir hatten ein Zimmer mit wunderschönem Meerblick. Leider wurde der Pool gerade repariert, aber wir konnten den Pool vom Nachbarhotel benutzen. Das Zimmer war großund mit einer Küchenzeile ausgestattet. Im Preis enthalten war ebenfalls Continental Breakfast. Jederzeit für einen Kurztrip wieder.

Die Lage des Hotels ist top! Vor allem, die Tatsache, dass alle Zimmer Balkone direkt zum Meer haben, ist einfach ein grosses plus! Ausserdem ist die Pier Park Mall nur ca. 20 Minuten zu Fuss entfernt! Aber leider muessen die Zimmer dringend mal wieder renoviert werden. Teppich war voll von Flecken, Plastik-Teil am Airconditioner hing runter. Auch die […] Sauberkeit liess leider etwas zu wuenschen uebrig: beim einchecken war das Bad voller Haare der Vorgaenger, in 4 Tagen wurde nicht ein Mal gesaugt und einmal wurde der Muell vergessen. Wer keine grossen Ansprueche stellt und kaum Zeit im Zimmer verbringt, kann das Hotel buchen, wer sich aber 100% Sauberkeit erwartet ,sollte eher die Finger davon lassen. Ich bin ir sicher ich werde mal wieder nach Panama City Beach kommen, werde es mir aber gut ueberlegen, ob ich das Hotel noch einmal buche... Mehr

Wir reisen als Familie (2 Erw. 2 Kinder) durch die Südstaaten und bewerten dieses Hotel als Prima. Noch näher am Strand und wir wären im Wasser gewesen. Alles bestens. Das ganze drumherum hat gepasst und das Frühstück gut.

Natürlich ist das Hotel alt und hat keinen Aufzug, das erhaltene Zwei-Raum-Apartment war aber ordentlich renoviert und sehr sauber. Dass Rezeption und Frühstücksraum bei der Abreise nicht wie angegeben um 7 Uhr , sondern um 7:45Uhr immer noch nicht geöffnet waren, war eine kleine Schwäche, der Check-Out im benachbarten Hotel Legacy -by - the Sea aber […] kein Problem. Insgesamt überwiegt ganz klar das Positive: Tolle Strandlage, sehr gute Parksituation, sehr gutes Sicherheitsgefühl, sauberer Pool und das angenehme und nicht zu teuere angegliederte Strandlokal Barefoot Beach Club! Wer keinen Luxus braucht, bekommt hier ein prima Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Mehr

Good value. The only bad part was the desk staff. After I checked out, 2 hours later I realized I had forgotten my cell phone charger. When I returned to get it, the staff was not very helpful. The room had been cleaned by housekeeping and the room had not been rented, yet they could not find my charger. It was my fault, but the staff was not very helpful. […] I would stay there again. I was there the weekend of 26 April and I loved that it wasnt crowded!The cleanliness of the hotel was not as great as it was last year. I had to ask for coffee every morning. The staff was friendly. The room was clean and in good repair. We had a beautiful view of the water and beach. The wireless internet is "iffy" if you are not in the lobby. Plenty of parking. You can get a bagel,cereal, or muffin for breakfast. If you are big and tall you may want a bigger bed. But the price was right, and we were satisfied.

The carpets were dirty so it made the room smell musty. The room was smaller than the other "by the sea" hotels and breakfast was less articles of food.. Parking was impossible to find a spot. It was right on the beach and near the pool which we enjoyed.

This place was better than I expected. I figured with only a two star hotel rating that it wouldn't be that great. It was kinda older, but the pool and hot tub were great. The view was wonderful!!

We were there two nights! Excellent service. Pool was heated and hot tub was hot....VERY NICE!!! We stay here everytime we go to PC! There were also no extra fees at check-in! Hotel old and needs some TLC. Not dirty but needs minor repairs and some deep cleaning, especially in the bathrooms. Was not a catastrophe but I would probably not stay there again.

I really enjoyed the hotel, it was unique and worked well for me and my sister...we had 2 bathrooms and a hallway separating our bedrooms. A couple downfalls...no cell service in the room and we went the first week of April which brought many high school springbreakers to the hotel and they were partying loudly all night outside the room and ran up […] and down the halls banging on doors and windows, making it hard to sleep. These complaints, I realize, aren't necessarily under the control of the hotel staff, but thought I would let the families out there know a couple things to expect. One thing about the room that I didn't like, was upon arrival I closed my bathroom door and found a pair of boxers behind the door, left by a previous guest...was obviously overlooked by staff. Loved staying right on the beach with the pool and hot tub looking onto the Gulf and beautiful beach. Loved the location, was close enough to Pier Park to walk there, where there was plenty of food and shopping :) also was a pier to walk down, which was beautiful...there is a $3 fee to access the pier. The hotel was fine as far as sleeping there. There was mold in the bathroom cabinets. When booking I was told there would be a 100 dollar deposit TOTAL for my stay and when I checked in I was told it was now $400. Bad communication between the hotel itself and hotels.com. Would only recommend staying here for sleeping purposes.

Its always a party at the beachbreak by the sea during spring break time. I didnt like the checklist that we had to fill out but that is my only complaint.

this place needs remodeled. The only thing it has going for it it's right on the beach. the room was clean but old need updating. I paid too much but I think it's because I was there for spring break

I would definitely stay here again for spring break. The location was easily accessible with plenty of parking and great security. Wearing the wristband was annoying at first but I appreciated the security measure. Make sure you get a pool side view the view is breathtaking and refreshing in the morning! Keep up the great work Beachbreak!

The breakfast offered is poor. If you have a kitchen that is no problem. It's worth the highest category booked with full kitchen facilities. The sea view is beautiful, but only in the 3rd and 4 Floor.

very run down everything was old except for the bed. The matress was new and the sheets were made for a much thinner mattress. The water supply was hard to regulate it went from hot to cold and back to hot in the shower.Considering the price we got what we paid for. I would not spend a week at the beach in this hotel.

I loved the view from my room. The only things I found I wasn't happy about was the lack of plug ins & amount of noise from surrounding rooms. The staff was very friendly & helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay! They were in the process of sprucing up for the summer season! So parking was a pain. But the parking lot was being redone! So no big deal. The staff was friendly and treated us like family! The property was clean and quiet! I recommend this Hotel to anyone!

Beautiful views friendly staff. Carpet was filthy stained. Tv's were outdated as well as the electrical set up for the tv microwave fridge and coffee maker. I would suggest tile instead of carpet. It would also help with the smell. With this being somewhat of a value hotel and getting the business because of that, the clean up would easier and more […] efficient a well. This place seemed to have really good reviews, so I gave it a shot. What a great outcome! The hotel was very easy to find, and the folks at the front desk were nice. They put me in a room that faced the Gulf and the view was fabulous. The room was clean and had more than enough towels. The refrigerator was a nice addition, too. When we checked in, reception was super nice, and very patient to put up with us. :-D They even offered to help the room conditions out, instead of a single room with 2 beds, they gave us a 2 room, 1 bed each suite. Couldn't beat it for the price. Granted, it wasn't the biggest/roomiest room ever, and not the CLEANEST, but it was acceptable and the […] view was wonderful. The only thing that I liked about the hotel is the location. Beach front and real close to the PIER PARK. But the door locks didn't work, no nice bed sheets nor cover, it was a bit chilly. Catwalks not in optional condition. Front desk was always helpful!
