Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 23. Okt. 2012Die Innenstadt konnte sehr schnell mit dem Gratis Shuttle Bus erreicht werden. Zimmer sind sauber und bestens eingerichtet. Im Restaurant haben wir gut gegessen. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit.

"Gutes Hotel zum Übernachten in Victoria, aber ..."
Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 15. Sep. 2012Das Hotel hat hat insgesamt einen positiven Eindruck hinterlassen. Unser Zimmer war sehr geräumig, sauber, gut ausgestattet und WLAN verfügbar. Victoria kann gut zu Fuß erreicht werden. In der Nähe ist auch Fishermans Warf mit Hausbooten und gutem Fischimbiss. Allerdings reichte der Balkon des Nachbarzimmers vor eines unserer Zimmerfenster und zu allem Überfluss fand am ersten Abend noch eine Hochzeit mit Aussenbewirtung unter diesem Fenster statt, die allerdings ab23:00 Uhr nicht mehr zu hören war. Auf Anfrage, ob wir ein anderes Zimmer bekommen könnten wurde mit einem Schulterzucken mitgeteilt, dass das Hotel ausgebucht sei. Nicht zufriedenstellend, aber abgesehen von diesen beiden Punkten durchaus ein gutes Hotel zum Übernachten in Victoria.

"Rooms are great....Restuarants not so great"
My husband and i stayed here for our anniversary. The hotel itself is beautifully contructed. When we checked in, we were offered a glass of sparkling wine each which was a nice touch. The front desk staff brought us to our room and explained a few things to us...like how to operate the fireplace, heating,ect. We loved the jacuzzi tub and the fact that […] there was some nice bath salts, soap, chapsticks,cookies,ect that where complimentary and where all products from their spa.Our only complaint in the room was that the mattress had a zipped up protector on it that felt like you where sleeping on plastic...somewhat uncomfortable. Pillows could have been a little fluffier too. Other then that we injoyed our room. Unfortunately I can not recommend the restuarants at the hotel. My husband ate the halibut and I had the salmon dish...both where VERY dry. Later we had mussles at their pub and was very fishy tasting..not much flavor at all. Very expensive food and poor quality. We ordered room service for breakfast the following morning...breakfast was pretty good....although they forgot our pot of coffee, cream, butter and ketchup so we had to call them back to our room...no discount for their mishap. I would recommend eating elsewhere if you are staying at this hotel...although im not sure if there is much in the selection of restuarants that are decent out in Brentwood Bay. Do your research! My boyfriend and I stayed at the Brentwood Bay Resort for our one year dating anniversary and it was even more impressive than the website's pictures made it look. Our room was incredibly spacious and comfortable. We had a beautiful ocean view from the balcony where we ate our breakfast. Although, we didn't get to enjoy the pool, it looked lovely. The […] staff were kind and helpful. The only reason I didn't give it 5/5 for every category is that staff entered our room, despite a do-not-disturb sign on the door, to collect dinner trays. We were so very happy with our stay at Brentwood Bay. We stayed two nights and thoroughly enjoyed the resort and surrounding sights. "very romantic hideaway"
The hotel was perfect for what we wanted. Small with a wonderful upscale restaurant and pub. Every room has a fireplace with an ocean view balcony. It's about a 15-20min. easy drive to Victoria and about 15 min to the airport. I wish we could have stayed longerAuthentische Hotels.com-Gästebewertung

One of the best properties we have ever stayed at. Extremely attentive and professional staff; luxurious rooms; fantastic food; and clean and well-maintained facilities. We were impressed with the attention to detail, including free long distance calling within N. America; free wifi; reasonably priced mini-bar ($4.50 beer; $1.50 pop!!!); and a basket […] of fresh towels, etc. left outside the room when we left the "Do Not Disturb" sign on. We ate all meals at the resort because the food was so good. Having access to the sea kayaks was an added bonus we had not expected. We can't say enough about this resort. We are happy expectations were exceeded when visiting us and yes, the complimentary parking, wifi, calls within North America, room service delivery and reasonably priced mini-fridge items all add up to be very reasonable. In the case that you do have a privacy sign on your door, we don't want you to run shy of any comforts you may need so we supply you with a "privacy basket" full of goodies to replenish items you may have already used. It is not that far from Victoria downtown. It is nice and close to Butchart Gardens if you plan to visit the gardens. It is very very clean and quiet. The guest room is spacious and has a nice fireplace feature with easy start and timer. Bed is modern and super large and comfortable with very nice updated linens. TV is large and HD. Thought maybe it […] would be nice to have more cable or satellite movie channels but we were not in the room watching TV much. Bathroom is very nice with a super nice roomy tiled shower stall and large soaking jetted bathtub. Breakfast in the Seagrille each morning was perfect: you really should start your day with this excellent food, presentation, lovely waitresses and lovely view of the marina, bay and mountains. Staff was super nice, clean and friendly. Good parking. Nice patio off our 1st floor room overlooking the marina/bay. It is worth the price and the short drive. It is super quiet for sleeping and comfort and privacy. We really enjoyed it! Only wish we had more time there to enjoy the spa services -- the spa looks lovely too!! Travelers from Austin Texas. I have traveled all over the world, and Brentwood Bay ranks with the nicest resorts I have visited, including amazing ones in Bali and Africa. My room was beautiful, peaceful and restful, with a stunning view from the wall of windows and its private porch of trees, water, and mountains. The room itself had a very comfortable king size bed, a rock-surrounded […] gas fireplace (which I lit in the evening and morning--it was cool even though it was May), candles and matches to light them, a huge TV (did not use it), a soaking/whirlpool tub with both privacy and views of the scenery, and large stall shower in the spacious bathroom. The room was equipped with spa amenities, including bath salts, huge towels, and robes; there also is a spa, but I did not have time to book an appointment there. There is a both a heated pool and hot tub outside, and a full marina. I dined in the restaurant, and had a meal that easily bested the finest restaurant I visited in Vancouver. There was a sushi bar also, and a pub. The staff was outstanding, and made sure I knew about all the amenities, including free phone calls to anywhere in North America. It was restful and restorative visit--well worth the usual price and a bargain at the Expedia special rate. The resort was minutes away from the famous Butchart Gardens. I think that anyone would enjoy a stay here, but it is particularly nice for couples, seniors, business travelers (or anyone) wanting a mini-vacation (me), or a ladies spa weekend. I have two kids, one is 2 months, another is a year and a half, and as stressful as they were on the trip, the hotel made everything as relaxing as possible.
