This hotel was wonderful. Front counter persons were very helpful and kind. my husband has lung cancer n can't sleep on a bed so the couch in room was awesome. Originilly our reservation was on 2 floor the gentalman at front desk changed it to a 1 st door room as my hasband can't walk long distances or up stairs. The hotel is a very good value for the money and the rooms are actually mini suites, which is quite nice for a business traveler. I have only two complaints. We were there to do a show for WVU and it was a much longer ride than we expected. I don't know whether that's because the distance stated was 'as the crow flies' or because the streets are small, […] steep and winding. The neighborhood isn't dangerous; just ugly, and the restaurants closes to the hotel were all of the fast food variety. Mehr

Front desk staff was awesome. Pool and hot tub were good. Clean room. Lots of fast food restaurants beside hotel. Breakfast was hot and decent (and included!). Free wifi and free parking! Stayed 2 separate nights on the way to and from Florida. Would definitely stay again. The hotel overall was ok. The issue we had with our stay was renovations. Our room was on the second floor and the hotel was having renovations done on the 3rd floor. Construction began at 7AM on a Sunday morning. The noise was very disruptive. We spoke to the employees at the front desk and they told us we should have been aware of the renovations […] because there were signs posted. They said it was clearly posted on their website but because we booked through expedia, we were unaware. They said they could not get the construction company to begin an later than they did. I think it is absurd that construction would begin at 7AM on a Sunday in a hotel. Mehr

A very pleasant atmosphere.Quite and comfortable .Breakfast area was clenched and the selection was adequate .Nothing fancy overall.Nearby fast food and excellent choices from local restaurants for delivery.I recommend The Lavendier Cafe for a delivery option.

This was a wonderful experience. The front desk helped me with directions to local attractions. The room was super clean. The hotel is in a great location and easy to find off the interstate. The housekeeping staff does a great job each morning and leaves you a fresh bottle of water each day.

Great hotel once we got there, used GPS coming from east to west and it took us 45 minutes to get to hotel from the highway; which incidently is conveniently located right off the highway, HOWEVER address is not the one listed on website - so call before you go unless you enjoy riding up and down dirt roads in the middle of the night. We were amazed to walk into this hotel room. For the price it was a real bargain there was a fridge, microwave and kitchen sink area, living room area, two beds and a nice bathroom. The room was amazing and the staff were great. Breakfast was ok every day but the pool and hot tub were very nice. All in all a great experience. We were sad to go.

We were very disappointed in our stay. The staff was rude at the front desk upon check-in. Housekeeping didn't come to clean the room until around 4pm- which is right when we came back in from the beach, golfing, etc. We often had to turn them away because of the timing. The rooms themselves had very little storage for clothes. We are the kind of family […] that likes to unpack suitcases and place clothes into the closet and dresser. Due to the lack of storage, we were creative in placing our clothes in places which in turn led to us leaving some of our clothes in one of the cabinets (and yes I know that was careless of us). We realized this as soon as we arrived home and immediately called the hotel and were informed that they would call housekeeping and housekeeping would call me back ASAP. That was two weeks ago. I called everyday for a week- asking to speak to housekeeping, a manager, a desk manager. No one was ever "available to take my call" but would call me back ASAP. After two weeks I have given up- but I am not surprised- this was typical of the customer service that we had the entire stay. Mehr

The room is fair sized and a good value. It is away from downtown Morgantown, located behind Arby's and Scheetz. The kitchenette is well appointed with fridge and microwave. The room was thoroughly vaummed, linens fresh, and bathroom spotless. Tables in living area had (? milk dribbles down the legs). The housekeeping staff uses air freshener. Since […] this is a non-smoking facility, there should be nothing to "freshen". The scent is over-powering. The hotel does not provide shampoo, but does have an excellend blow-dryer. The only issue was the housekeeping staff coming by between 830 and 9 to "pick up the towels." After the first day when the housekeeper let herself in (despite my "just a minute") I smartened up and put the latch across the door. Easter Sunday the housekeeper waited for me to answer the door and suggested I put the DO NOT DISTURB sign out. I addressed this with the front desk and put the sign out the next morning and we were left alone. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Overall a good stay, but they need to get the housekeepers on board with the idea of a "guest." and to keep their eyes open for housekeeping issues that extend beyond linens and bathrooms. Mehr

This hotel was modern, very clean and comfortable. The beds were the best beds I have ever slept on. Staff was very helpful, friendly, and had a sense of humor. They have energy saving refrigerators and lighting, which I think is an important effort in a hotel. The pool was clean, the laundry room was clean, floors were spotless. This facility was clean, just off I-68, and had good service. The room(s) are clean and well taken care of, however, I was somewhat upset that there were not heavier drapes/curtains for the window of my room. This is our favorite hotel when we come to visit our daughter at WVU. The rooms are large and clean. Indoor pool is nice in winter and the breakfast is great. Within walking distance to Sheetz, Kroger, and Arbys.
