Campanile Nice Airport - Nizza

Für alle, die früh weg müssen, ist dieses Hotel perfekt. Der Service ist freundlich, die Zimmer sauber und zweckmäßig. Man braucht allerdings ein Auto oder Bus, um nach Nizza zu kommen, da es bis zur Altstadt mehr als 7 km sind.

Empfehle reisenden mit einem beschränkten Budget das Mittag- und Abendessen in den zahlreich umliegenden Strandrestaurants zu genießen. Das Hotelrestaurant ist zwar klasse aber sehr teuer. Einen schönen Urlaub!

Nice is a perfect stop-over destination, and if your stop-over includes a night, Campanile is the perfect hotel choice. The hotel is close to the airport shuttle stop (called Arenas). The shuttle, which operates every 10 minutes, takes you to the terminals in 10 minutes. If you are going to/coming from terminal 1, you can also walk. It only takes 7 […] minutes, which is very convenient. The hotel as well as the airport is also only 20 minute bus ride from downtown (buses 9 or 10 from Arenas or 98 or 99 from the airport). The service at the hotel was good, the room was clean and nice. I've certainly payed a lot more for a lot poorer standard elsewhere. I definitely recommend a stop-over in Nice. It's a such a beautiful city and small enough to see in one day. Mehr

The people at the desk were very friendly and helpful. The room was basic, clean, with sufficient space. It was perfect for spending the night before taking a flight.

Location of the hotel is good and convenience wherever to airport or downtown, but the in room facilities are rather old and too simple.

Decent hotel for the price and right smack in front of the Nice AIrport. So if you have an early morning flight or coming in on a late night flight, definitely recommend to spend the night here. Restaurant is ok - nothing great. I arrived at a "wrong" time since it was packed and I had to wait 20+ mins to get served since I didnt want the buffet. Rooms […] are very basic but clean. Internet is SLOW as MOLASSES and coverage in all rooms isnt that good. I had no coverage in my room, so had to go towards the center close to the elevator to get access - and even then at 100% strength it was working at 20kb only. Mehr

Personnel always helpful, knowledgeable and polite. Large selection of food for Breakfast. A la carte restaurant have a good selection to choose from and the food is excellent. Close to the airport which is very handy with the shuttle service from the hotel. Internet facility Coffee and tea in the room is essential. Excellent food, but extremely small rooms with basic amenities: TV, coffee machine (with small welcome snack), only one towel per guest in bathroom, no washcloth. But this is a decent hotel (for the price) to spend a night before catching the plane the next day. It is also very quiet despite its proximity to the airport. Free hourly airport shuttle […] (10 minutes from terminal). A plus: This hotel is located next to the Phoenix Park in Nice, a wonderful place to relax especially with children before a trip. A 2 minute walk from the hotel takes you there where plant and animal lovers will have a great time. There is also a small Asian museum and a great playground. Very convenient to airport.Everything first class.

Very convenient to the airport and the most inexpensive hotel within walking distance of the free airport shuttle. Unfortunately not much good to say about it. The walls are thin and the service is spotty. But really, if you are leaving on an early flight, it is fine. And the wifi is free.

Perhaps it was our sense of direction, but although this hotel is very near the airport, we found it horribly difficult to actually access it by car. When we finally made it to the hotel (after an hour of driving around), we found the staff unfriendly and not very helpful. We had had nothing to eat for many hours, but there was no food available (understandable […] at 11pm) but nor was there much sympathy for our plight. The room was very small, but adequate for the rate charged. it was clean and reasonably comfortable. The foyer area and entrance was bright, recently refurbished and in good condition. In contrast with the night staff at the hotel when we arrived, the lady who was at the reception the following morning couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. Mehr

Obviously very convenient for the airport. A simple bus ride into town - but apparently the buses back out from town stop fairly early in the evening. I've stayed at relatively expensive hotels in the centre of Nice and had little sleep due to traffic noise - so nowadays I stay here at it is quiet at night. Hotel Restaurant is a last resort place. OK […] ish - but you didn't come to Nice to sit in a canteen and eat OK ish food.... Mehr

A very convenient place if one needs a hotel facility, if overnighting, when making connecting flights. The beds were disappointing, as they had to be very small to fit into such small bedrooms. On the other hand, the buffet dining facility was excellent, particularly, if one just wanted something light to eat before retiring. Also, it remains open […] until about 10 o'clock at night time. We had to fly out very early, so this worked because it is right across the street from the airport. The dessert and salad buffets were excellent, but we had to get a refund on the entree it was so bad.. Breakfast was just okay.

this hotel is ideally situated for nice airport, especially for a stay either before or after flying. I would not recommend it for much longer.

This is a very decent airport hotel... modern, clean, friendly... not a great neighborhood, but that is not why you go to a hotel near the airport. The only complaint I have is that the restaurant was less than friendly... and they should not ask you how you want your steak cooked. They seem to cook it only one way (a big disappointment for France, […] I must say). I asked for rare and got medium to well. Mehr

We were very pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the lobby and the room. Air conditioning is a huge plus. Restaurant at the hotel was quite good.

one of the main reasons we booked this hotel was that our flight arrival time was late at night and the hotel had a shuttlebus service from Nice Airport. This was not correct! When we rang the hotel to check the time of the bus we were told that we could walk over. Never having been in Nice before we found ourselves walking across the main road with […] busy traffic dragging our bags behind us. Then the lift at the hotel broke and we had to carry our bags up two flights of stairs! Mehr

The room is very small and very basic but clean. No TV in English. The hotel is very close to the terminal, you can walk to it, but far from anything else.

I selected this hotel because it was the closest to the airport and we had an early morning flight. I also selected the hotel based on other reviews. This hotel is very close to the airport. If you don't have much luggage, I highly recommend it, since it's just a 10 minute walk to Terminal 1 at the Nice Airport. However, if you have more luggage, there's a shuttle that comes every 7-10 minutes during the day. Early morning and late night flights, you'll have to take the public bus, which is a 10 […] minutes walk away (might as well just walk directly to the airport instead). Excellent value hotel, with good food hot buffet. Within walking/case trundling distance of airport and bus stop. Comfortable beds, tiny rooms, helpful staff. Location. Across a busy dual carriageway opposite the airport control tower. Next to the Novotel Transportation Has its own free shuttle that runs on the hour. Call this from the airport by using the free ‘phone at T1 gate A1 just outside arrivals exit. Or T2 gate exit A3. Walkable with hand or wheeled luggage from T1 arrivals gate A1 Exit Gate A1, […] go straight ahead crossing the two red/white crossings and infront there is the underpass for the road. Continue straight on under this and at the roundabout (50 yards) use the crossing to cross the road and take a right towards the easily seen Novotel. Keep walking past the Novotel and the Campanile is on your left (50 yds) From T2 catch the free inter-terminal bus and either get off at T1 or ask the driver to stop at the next stop on the way back to T2. At this stop cross the road and walk back the way the bus has just come (walking towards Novotel) in 50 yards you will be at the roundabout where you cross the road to your left. This stop is also served by the 23 bus. There is a bus stop outside the hotel which is served by the 98 (express bus to the airport) Takes about 5 mins max. Hotel Check in Staff Ok, free apples on the counter. Room Basic but clean, soft bed with 3 pillows. TV shows French channels. Air-conditioning not effective so may be a problem in hotter weather. Kettle with two paper cups and two tea and coffee sachets. Bathroom. Basic shower gel/shampoo + soap. Decent shower pressure + bath with hot water. No discernable noise in the night from the road or the airport. Restaurant. Dinner is a combination of all you can eat buffets 24Euro 16 euro, 8.50 Euros or a set menu or the A La Carte dinner, nothing fancy but OK. Breakfast is extra at 9.00 euro-I did not eat. Wi-fi Internet is free but is very flaky in the room. Better in reception though always slow. A few basic eateries around the hotel, but nothing worth bothering with IMHO. Well, it is close to Terminal 1 of Nice airport, which is the only reason to stay here. The big disappointment was my room reeked of smoke so badly that I kept waking up throughout the (short) night. The complimentary drink at the bar was very welcome, as was the kettle and instant coffee in the room. The free wireless internet was also a bonus. You […] can see the hotel from Terminal 1. It's possible to walk from Terminal 1 to the hotel, and vice versa, but you need to locate the underpass under the otherwise very busy highway. As you leave the Terminal turn to your left. Check onward flights for the terminal. For Terminal 2 you can catch a free shuttle - best to ask about this. Mehr

We had an early AM flight out of Nice so we wanted to be sure to have easy access to the Airport. This hotel far exceeded our expectations for an "airport" hotel. It has a very nice lobby with a bar & restaurant downstairs. The room doesn's have a lot of amenities but the bed was confortable and it served its purpose. Would definately stay here again […] if we need to be close to the airport. Mehr

Based on the fact that this is an airport hotel, and reading some of the other reviews - our expectations were lower than expected. We were pleasantly surprised by our stay. We spent 2 nights, one on either end of the trip. The hotel is not the newest and most beautiful, but for the money a very good value. The room was clean, adequate. and had great […] air conditioning! The staff was friendly and helpful, and the location right across from the airport with a parking garage really satisfied all of our needs. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Mehr

We stayed here last year when they were renovating and it was only just acceptable - carrying luggage up the stairs when you are tired was unpleasant. This year the service seemed friendlier. Within walking distance of Terminal 1 (just). We had an early flight so no courtesy shuttle service available at that time. Air-con not working in bedroom but room changed promptly when we complained. Food in restaurant, especially buffet, was good value.

Hotellet ligger svært nær flyplassen terminal 1. ( gå avstand) I tillegg har hotellet transport til terminal 2. Service i skranken var utmerket og det samme var i restauranten.

飯店原本應有免費機場接送服務，但是他們經常人手不足無法接送，需自行乘坐機場巴士前往。飯店房間很小，但很乾淨！

Vi skulle resa hemåt med 0600-flighten från Nice till Paris och behövde en kort enkel hotellnatt på gångavstånd från flygplatsen. För detta fungerade hotellet utmärkt. Enkelt, men prisvärt. Vi tog lokalbussen till motorvägen varpå det var ca 5 minuters promenad till hotellet. Morgonen därpå skulle vi till terminal 2 och det tog kanske 10-15 minuter […] att gå, och var väldigt smidigt. Restaurang finns på hotellet, men är ingen höjdare. Men som sagt, för en övernattning med sen ankomst och tidig uppgång var det prisvärt för oss. Mehr
