This hotel is conveniently located and reasonably priced. Rooms are clean and tiny. The studio room with the fold up bed does not really have adequate space for your bag but I didn't go to Whistler to sit in my room so it was not a major issue. Despite being in the middle of the village at the Gondola, there were no issues with noise. Parking is additional […] charge per day so be sure to factor that in to the budget. The parking is underneath the hotel and undercover so it was convenient and I guess that is what you are paying for. Good experience overall. Mehr

I can't say enough about the Pan Pacific Mountainside. I chose the hotel for the location ( just a few steps from the slopes) but was plea salty surprised to get so much more. The rooms were comfortable with fireplaces and kitchens, the ski locker was great to have, the location in the village was convenient--- it was the perfect fun family getaway. […] Whistler is wonderful and the stay here let us enjoy it to its fullest. Very nice hotel in a terrific location right at the base of both the Whistler and Blackcomb gondolas. Ski rental right in the hotel, terrific pub, and comfortable accommodation with a great salt water pool, two hot tubs and steam room. Would definitely stay here again.

I recently went up to Whistler for a friends birthday and this was where everyone was staying. We ended up booking a room lower floor studio but when we arrived we were surprised to find that we had been upgraded to a top floor mountain view floor. The hotel staff was extremely polite and helpful and the rooms were very clean and well kept. Our other […] friend had a suit on the lower floor and even that was a great room. We got charged for the 2 days of parking ($60) and we weren't even there. Our plan landed late and did not arrive until the next day. We also left a day earlier because of our schedule. We asked for the parking fee to be waived and was told "no". They also have us on the upper floor on the parking lot side where you can hear the snow plow truck working […] over time due to snow. We constantly hear the truck backing up and plowing. All day and night. Our room was suppost to be on the slop-side. After all this problem, the hotel ask us to give them a review which I find to be comical. Would we recommend this hotel: NO. Would we recommend to our friends and family: NO. Mehr

The check in staff was friendly, speedy and very efficient. The room was clean and well equipped; my only complaint was that it had a murphy bed. I don’t have anything against murphy beds per se but it would have been nice to have been notified in advance that this was the room configuration. For some people it may not be something desirable. We stayed at the Pan Pacific twice in the past three months. On our first visit, I accidentally dropped a contact lense down the bathroom sink. When I called the front desk they immediately sent their maintenance worker up to help. He took the whole sink apart in attempts to locat my lense. No luck, but I was extremely impressed with how they dealt […] with the situation. They were more than happy to help and did not make me feel like an inconvenience for asking. On our last stay this past weekend we went out for the day only to return to a mini-flood in the dining area which came from a leaky dishwasher. Unfortunately my one expensive (non-water resistant) boot was drenched in water. Again, the staff/management were more than eager to help and 'right' the situation. The first thing they did was ask the price of my boots and made me a more than reasonable offer towards replacing. They also searched out shoe stores in the village and arranged for their shuttle drive to take us shopping so that I would have decent shoes for our evening out. And last but not least they upgraded us to a larger room with a mountain view. The hotel is amazing but what stands out for me is how customer focused the hotel is . . . staff and management are amazing!! Mehr

The hotel, room, and amenities were very nice however the only negative was the location of the room. We were on the 3rd floor just over the service entrance. At ~330AM on Mondays is the first service pickup or drop off and then the first of 4 trash\recycling pick ups started around 6AM. Being over the service entrance, it was VERY loud. We have stayed in about 12 different hotels over the years in Whistler and Hands down this one was our favorite. We have never had a complaint. Rooms are beautiful and extremely clean, the staff is so accomodating, Would only stay here from now on :)

We had great stay. The room was wonderful, we originally booked a Studio Room Mountain View and when we arrived to our hotel they had upgraded us to a one bedroom Mountain View. Actually we are planning a trip next year to Whistler and are definetly considering staying here again.

The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodated a request for an upgrade and late checkout. Nice, but small, workout room with beautiful salt water pool and hot tubs.

We were upgraded to a mountain view room....WOW. The staff were all super and very friendly. Good location within walking distance of everywhere in Whistler. We left the car in the garage for the 2 days we were there.

Pan Pacific hotel was a perfect "10" for us. Very clean room, excellent service from the friendly staff. Our requests were granted. Just steps from the gondola ride. It was my wife's birthday and they even have a card and chocolates in the room when we got in. Now that is something! Will definitely recommend this one.

We had a very nice two night stay at the hotel. There was some difficulty finding a nice breakfast place as the Irish pub downstairs didn't have a ton of variety on the menu.

Once again the staff were so welcoming and helpful. The hotel is in a great location and the facilities are all good. The balcony was very small but the rest of the room was good.

The location in the village and minutes from the gondola was superb. Staff were very helpful. Had a problem with remote and they came to the room in less then 5 minutes to replace it.

My first time in whistler, and I've lived nearby for over 50 years... Can't say enough good things about this hotel. I was planning on another lower rated hotel because it came up on several sites as the cheapest. My daughter-in-law told me about The Pan Pacific Mountainside. She said she's stayed at several in Whistler and this was the best, so I checked […] into it further. It was only $10 per night more, but the reviews were far superior to the other place. I was only planning on staying 2 nights, but when I added a 3rd night, the PPM ended up actually costing less than the cheaper place ! I've been to the Pan in Vancouver, and it's amazing, so I figured this would have to be sort of similar. From check in to check out the staff were over the top accommodating and friendly! The room was just as pictured in the photo section. Sometimes wide angle lenses can make it look more spacious, but this depicted the exact look and feel. Also pictures can make rooms seem clean, and no picture can tell you what some places smell like .... but this place look like it had never been used, and had absolutely no odor of any kind... A fantastic place to stay ! If I go back to Whistler, there's no question of where I'd stay.... perfect location as well ! Mehr

the hotel was great- the location terrific. we had an inside corner room which had a tiny deck- only room for one chair, otherwise the hotel was wonderful. nice pool too!

All of the staff were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The location is fantastic as are the facilities. The Dubh Linn Gate serves a lovely breakfast and if you prefer to eat in then the in room kitchen provides everything you need.

Would not return. Fold down bed created a very tight room. Very sloppy bed sheet presentation. In example, the sheets were buckled onto the bed with a belt. Almost like a bed on a trailer. Complimentary coffee only served till 8am, then go buy or make your own. Free internet service was extremely slow. My husband and I stayed there for 2 nights, and it was super!! We had a one bed suit in 7th floor which had a great view of lifts and pool area. The location of hotel was perfect, so we could walk everywhere in town. Pool was good and had a nice view of town. Only complaint was $25+tax parking per night, even though it was summer time.
