Ich habe mit meinen beiden Töchern 2 Nächte hier auf dem Weg zu Ihrem College übernachtend und fand das Hotel sehr einladend mit gutem Service und schönen , warmen Farben. Ich fand das Frühstück allerdings überteuert würde aber jederzeit wieder hier übernachten(- und woanders frühstücken....)

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, ist modern eingerichtet. Unser Zimmer war recht geräumig, die Betten sehr komfortabel. Unser ursprüngliches Zimmer lag direkt gegenüber einer Baustelle, weswegen wir das Zimmer direkt gewechselt haben. Das zweite Zimmer lag dann hinten raus, allerdings direkt neben dem Aufzug und war daher ausgesprochen laut, da sämtliche […] Gäste auf unserer Etage an unserem Zimmer vorbei mussten und sich dabei (um 3h morgens) sehr laut unterhalten und über den Fiur gerufen haben. Zudem knallen die Zimmertüren beim Zufallen sehr laut und die Isolation zum Flur hin ist nicht besonders. Der Service, v.a. der Housekeeping- und Gepäckservice, war sehr gut. Der Rezeptionist allerdings eher unterkühlt, auch, als wir das Zimmer wechseln wollten. Mehr

Das Hotel ist in Sachen Service und Sauberkeit sicherlich absolut top. Auch wenn das Zimmer nicht ganz so gross war wie erwartet. Absolut extrem die Parkplatzgebühr von USD 42 pro Nacht!! (ein echter Killer). Alles in allem aber trotzdem (vor allem ohne Auto) sehr empfehlenswert. NIcht zu vergessen die gute Küche und Bar/Pub im Hotel!

Excellent service with great amenities.

Hotel was very nice & clean, the free wireless stinks, there is almost no signal & it was virtually useless for me.

I can't really fault this place..it was al round wonderful...great room, superior bathroom..a shower with 2 heads!!..well equipped with soaps etc, fluffy towels, comfortable pillows..great bed..good room service..but no room coffee of tea making facilities..but free water..and a suggested tip on top if the 18% gratuity..but hey that's the USA..generally […] a great place to stay..and I'd happily go back..great rates too! Not too far to walk to most attractions..and the subway system is very close as is a major conference centre.. Mehr

My best friend and I stayed here over the weekend to enjoy the sights and sounds of Boston, and the Red Sox and Bruins games. We truly enjoyed our stay at The Back Bay Hotel and would recommend it to anyone looking for a hotel in Boston. It was clean, the staff was warm and helpful, it's conveniently located to several places of interest and the subway […] system, and it's very safe. All-in-all, unlike the Red Sox, it's a winner!!! Hotel with unique history. Spacious, clean room. Easy to access public transit from hotel. Staff very helpful and friendly.

All was fabulous, as is reflected in my all "5"'s ratings. They sent a fedex for me too, which was very helpful. I will absolutely go back again, and as long as it stays how it was on this last trip, I'd continue to stay there every time I'm in Boston. Last time I was in a "comparable" hotel which was not as comparable.

we loved it, they made the marathon runners feel special with their reception and food for them, prior to race day and after!!!Very well pleased!

This is an ideal hotel to stay close to the excitement of the finish line of the Boston Marathon. They were very focused on those running in the event and offered special Carb Loading dinner options and early morning services. The Back Bay Hotel is located in a perfect neighborhood to explore Boston. The hotel is no too big which cuts down on noise. And although the bar and restaurant are not very big, we never waited for a seat. The rooms were good size, bathroom had a nice shower and sink area and the refrigerator was a nice touch. The only complaint is that coffee makers […] do not come in all rooms. They do provide coffee in the lobby, but it would have been much nicer to have makers in every room (you can get a coffee maker in larger and more expensive rooms). The hotel is not cheap, but if visiting Boston, it is worth the extra money for continence of location and comfort. We thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay. Mehr

I booked this Hotel because I was running the Boston Marathon and wanted to be as close to the Finish Line as possible, well i couldn't have planned it any better because it was right there. The staff was very nice and they even placed a congratulatory card in my room with my finish time, before I got back after the race (very nice touch). The location […] was great. They also provided complementary bottles of water in the room. The room itself was nice, clean and very quiet. I rarely heard any one and had a great night's sleep, which I almost never do in hotels. From the moment I checked in with the really friendly guy behind the desk until I checked out three days later I had no complaints at all. I would definitely come back to stay here the next time I'm in Boston. Free wifi & the complimentary water each day were really nice touches. The bed was so comfortable, it was hard to drag myself out of it in the […] morning & the big shower after a long day sightseeing was perfect! The hotel is just a few minutes walk from Copley Square & the Arlington T stop is about 5 minutes walk. I felt very safe walking around at night time back to this hotel as it was in a lovely area. We enjoyed our stay at the Back Bay Hotel in Boston. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. The location was very convenient to everything including our main focus of the trip (visit to BU and Northeastern). Room was clean. Parking fees not too bad (lower than NYC in my opinion). Beautiful, charming hotel in great location in back bay neighborhood of Boston. Great service, nice details. Great for couples or families.

My children tell me I am difficult to please. this may be true, but I try to judge a hotel on what it is trying to be. The Back Bay Hotel is trying to be a top class hotel. It is in fact a very good hotel in a great location, but it is not a great hotel. Upon checking in, I waited for a clerk to finish with someone ahead of me (we were the only guests […] there). Another clerk was doing something on his computer. Neither made eye contact and neither said "We'll be with you in a moment". After a few minutes the male clerk looked up and welcomed me. The only problem was that he was chewing gum, quite vigorously. Not good. The room was fine, if a bit small, but then that is what I booked - a basic room. Well equipped. When I went to use the toilet, there was something floating in the bowl. Not large, and likely not human, but one doesn't expect to see anything there. I later sat on the desk chair and upon moving around to see the tv, I noticed some garbage behind the night table, which had not been cleaned up - likely had not been seen. Overall, the rest of the stay was fine, but a clean room is important, as is a strong first impression at the front desk. I would stay at the Back Bay Hotel again. The location is great. But it would be nice if it tried just a little bit harder. Mehr

We came to vist Boston for college tours and loved the central location of Back Bay Hotel. Depending on where we where headed we were able to walk or catch the subway from either Arlington or Back Bay Station. The restaurant was wonderful and our stay was great.

Don't think I could have found a better hotel to stay at! Such a beautiful building, the staff was great and extremely helpful with everything, great location to stay in, very clean, overall was a great place, didnt want to leave! All of the staff was unbelievably friendly and willing to help with everything. Wouldn't stay any place else for our next […] visit. I read other reviews that said the rooms were too small, I didn't think our room was any smaller than the average hotel room. Our entire stay was great, highly recommend to anyone staying in Boston. I just finished a 5-night stay at the Back Bay Hotel in Boston. First, the hotel is quite nice with a friendly staff. The bathroom was stocked with Kiehl's products which I also enjoyed. The only downside of my stay is that the Internet (both hard line and wireless) was very very slow with irregular access. Now, it is hard to complain when each guest […] is given free access to the Internet, but I would rather have paid the extra $20/day to have high speed. My iPad and laptop were essentially useless to access the internet, and the computers in their business center (first 15 minutes are free) were equally as slow. Be sure to pack you smart phone and a charger if you are hoping to get any work done. Mehr

Nice hotel. Would stay there again.

My husband and I stayed at the Back Bay Hotel for three nights at the end of February. The hotel is located in the old Boston Police headquarters. It is a very comfortable boutique hotel. We had a deluxe king room on the 8th fl. It was comfortable, good size, with a very large bathroom with shower only. The towels were luxurious as were the other amenities. […] The service was excellent from the front door to the front desk. Very nice bar (Cuff's) and we had dinner the first night in the Stanhope Grill which was very good with an appealing menu. The service there was excellent!! I would recommend this restaurant to friends and family. Fantastic location. We walked to the North End and to Fenway Park easily. It is very central. Mehr

I actually hadn't stayed at this hotel since before the name change (was previously Jurys), but the same level of service was still there. Great location to any work or travel to the Back Bay/Copley area. Good service by the staff. Room was very large and comfortable and was easy to get online (for free).

The hotel has a high overall rating with other travellers, but this is slightly at odds with my experience. The first thing I noticed was how tiny the room was. Then I looked at the floor and discovered the very unappealing beige-grey carpet that looked as though it hadn't been replaced since 1973. The placement of the desk was uncomfortable so I gave […] up on doing computer work. Everything else was okay. I would recommend this hotel to others but I sure hope they get a room without that awful-looking, ratty carpet. Mehr

Small, hot room with stained carpets. Don't like bedspread-like duvet. Should use the double sheet method. Great location and wonderful heated towel bar. Good food.

Very pleasant stay. Convenient, clean and comfortable with friendly, helpful staff.

We were really impressed by the service and very friendly staff of this hotel. We felt very comfortable. The hotel itself is a bit old but rennovation is nice. Room is well decorated. Location is great, very close to metro stop and easy to get a taxi too. I'll definitely stay here again next time when I go to Boston.

Nice boutique hotel. Location is great. Near nice restaurants in Back Bay, and about 5 to 10 minutes wall to T (subway). The only complaint is the low water pressure shower head. It was hard to take a shower. Besides that, it's all good.

I travel to Boston frequently to visit my daughter who attends college at NEU. The location is very convenient. The staff is fantastic. Concierges Heather and Justin were over the top with suggestions and spot on each time. Ana in housekeeping was very good at providing me the special details of my requests. And the front desk accommodated my for a […] very late check out on the last day, at no additional charge, even though at first they said there would be one. But I'm picky and like a really clean well kept hotel. My room room was a superior, and overlooked a very noisy alley. The furniture in sitting areas in the lobby were tattered and worn. The bar and restaurant left a lot to be desired. The bar (Tim the bartender was great) ambiance was pub like, not my style. The restaurant was tired and old. Overall, not sure i would stay there again as the overall feel of the hotel seemed old and tired. But the staff gets a Gold A-plus! Mehr

We were 3 adults in a room for 2 and we paid the extra charge for the 3 person why? this way of doing is wrong
