Das Hotel liegt Top. Die Architektur ist toll. Einziger Wehmutstropfen ist der Zimmerservice. Es wurde nicht Aufgefüllt und an einem Tag das Zimmer überhaupt nicht gereinigt. Aber sonst absolut genial.

Loved this hotel! Everyone did their job. Location excellent. Rooms nice. Front desk person acted like she didn't want to be there, but she did her job.

hotel was a great value....location very convenient, room comfortable with a lot of character. Only complaint was the bathroom. Single pedestal sink left no room to put toiletries. There was only a very narrow shelf above toilet and the towel racks. Also, the front desk clerk said we could purchase bottled water on each floor from machines. We tried […] machines on 3 floors...one ate our money, the other 2 gave us Dr. Peppers when we pushed the button for water! Mehr

Great place and close to the quarter. Parking a bit much $35.00 plus tax = $40.50.

Except for the AC unit kind of noisy, and has to run everytime you re in the room (no windows or ventilation fan) everything was ok, less... . Another item to highlight negatively is the lack of ventilation at bathroom; once u use the toilet no way for the next person to stand 3 minutes (logical reasons). Honestly, people at front desk were exceptionally […] kind an serviceable, same for the boys that had to make several rides to my car for personal stuffs that i forgot in it, breakfast were well served and plenty of options, resuming i will stop there next time if is available. Great hotel in a perfect location. They were happy to make special accomodations for our large group and you cant beat the prices.

Great location by the French Quarter. Staff was friendly and had excellent suggestions for dining. Quieter than staying in the French Quarter.

This hotel is a great choice for location... it is just off Canal so you are within easy walking distance of the French Quarter (Bourbon Street), Harrah's Casino, the riverfront, the Aquarium, and the Garden District. The rooms are a bit small since this is an historic building, but it is thoroughly modern and the beds are to die for.... very comfortable! […] Who wants to be stuck in a room very long when you have all of New Orleans to explore, anyway? Even though I did not partake of the included breakfast, it smelled great and many seemed to be enjoying it. The staff was very friendly and helpful, as well. I would definitely stay here on my next visit to Nawlins... Mehr

Stayed for one night. Flew in to New Orleans airport. The hotel was easy to find, and very convenient for sightseeing. Very close to the river walk, aquarium and art galleries and Bourbon St. Great location , very fitting of the area. Clean and served a very nice continental breakfast.. Very nice and would stay again.

The beds were very comfortable, but they were not double size beds they were twin/full size beds. The room was a nice size and comfortable. T.V. sucked had very few channels and you had to get super close to the T.V. for the remote to work. Great location close to everything.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful. My son and I had the best spring break because of how welcomed we felt. Thanks!!

Love it, it was perfect! One block from Canal street, 4 blks from Bourbon St, 2blks from Harrah's. Couldn't have asked for more. Room & bath were clean. Loved it!

Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was busy (pharmacy convention + SEC basketball), but attentive when asked to clean our bathroom. Complimentary breakfast was decent, but definitely not spectacular (string cheese, bagels, pastries, toast, boiled eggs, packaged sausage biscuit, waffles, coffee, OJ, apple juice, yogurt, fruit, granola […] bars). Great location-within 5 minutes walking distance to Bourbon street and Acme Oysterhouse and 12-15 minutes to Jackson Square. Would recommend this place for someone looking for a great location and friendly staff that doesn't want to overpay. Granted the rooms are a bit small, so if you plan on staying in the hotel for long periods of time, may want to consider getting a larger room at another hotel. Mehr

Because of the fan noise, it is hard to fall asleep.

I recently stayed at this hotel 2/10 - 2/13 and had a great stay. The rooms were nice, comfortable bed, large garden tub in bathroom. Only problem with the room was that there was no window to the outside, which made it feel kind of cramped. The free continental breakfast exceeded expectations - waffle station, hard boiled eggs, cereal, fruit, string […] cheese, granola bars, bagels, toast, muffins, danishes, etc. Location was good. Right on the edge of the quarter, so it was easy to travel by foot everywhere. The Ruby Slipper restaurant next door was excellent as well (great mimosas). Overal, an excellent stay! Mehr

Loved the hotel, staff and location. Just blocks from the FQ. Make sure to go to Giovanni's on Decatur for dinner in W/Th/F nights and the Ruby Slipper on Magazine for breakfast, both are close to St Chrisopher hotel.

We asked for a non smoking room and ended up in a smoking room. You are unable to open any windows so the smell is horrific. I woke up with a headache from The smell. We also had what it sounded like 20 young boys on our floor who were so loud and rowdy and tried many times to get into our room. It was the worst hotel experience I had in 4 weeks in […] the USA. I've been staying at the St. Christopher since it opened, and am still very pleased. It is located between The Quarter and The Convention Center, one short block from Harah's. The Ruby Slipper is right next door and has a great breakfast menu. The only tiny issue is the fact that the lobby bar is only open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights!

I had a wonderful night's stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful and they went above and beyond to accomodate me. I had left my cruise ship early and they enabled me to have early check in so I wouldn't have to wait until 3pm. This luggage delivery service had misplaced my bags and they help me retrieve it. The bellhop assisted […] me with all of my luggage and found me a cab on my way to the airport the next day. I would definitely stay there again!! Mehr

Hotel is located in a great location. Close to casino, French quarter and bourbon street. Rooms are small but clean and up to date. I enjoyed my stay and would return to this hotel :)

Good cheap hotel room that's close to Bourbon St. and all of the fun in New Orleans. The only negative is that I reserved a king size bed, but all they had was two double beds. Other than that the hotel is clean and close to where you want to be. Another caveat is that there is no hotel parking. To valet your car it costs $28 a day. Luckily I only stayed […] one night. While making the decision on where to stay in New Orleans, I tried to read comments to help in the decision process. I had some doubts about the Best Western Plus St. Christopher Hotel. However, we thought we'd give it a chance. I'm glad we did. We had no problems whatsoever during our stay. The location 1/2 block from Canal St is fantastic. The hotel is in an old building. The rooms have character with exposed brick walls and such. However, they are small. I was on the top floor (10th) and the view was of neighboring buildings. Please keep in mind that downtown hotels cannot provide spectacular views unless you are on the 50th floor or […] something. The staff was friendly. The continental breakfast included in the rate was nothing special, marginally better than a motel. The WiFi was better than many top end hotels. the corridor smells of cigarette smoke but the room was clean and fresh. Mehr

The hotel was nice, convenient. The staff was friendly and helpful, except for one desk person who gave us incorrect information on where Preservation Hall was loacted.

Stayed here because was the cheapest option close to a convention site and all the touristy stuff. One night was for the convention, then turned it into a girls trip for 4 early-30s girls. Location was perfect and the room was everything you need in a hotel room. Things like the continental breakfast was lack-luster didn't bother me because 1) it was […] complimentary and 2) the hotel was so cheap. Things like the roof dripping water from the ceiling into the breakfast area wasn't great, but again, cheap room. End of the day, I feel like I made out like a bandit in terms of what I paid and what I got. Mehr

Very nice place that's close to everything with the exception of the parking.

The beds were very comfortable and the hotel was quite. Great location, near everything, never had to get in the car once we got to new Orleans. The free breakfast did not have much at all.

Rooms are small but clean. Very little room for hanging clothes and toiletries in bathroom. Bathed in warm water. Towels & t/p were very thin.

ifyour looking for value and charecter in the frnch quarter, look no further

I booked this hotel last minute and honestly didn't expect much from it. However, it was nicer than I thought it would be. It is an older hotel and was relatively clean. The rooms could have been shown more TLC and cleaned a little better but for the one night I was there, it was fine. I found out that they do allow dogs in the hotel for an extra $50 […] on top of your bill. I would have never even known they allowed dogs unless I had gone down to the free complimentary breakfast the next morning and saw a few guests walking their dogs through the lobby. All dogs were very quiet and, like I said, I had no idea they were there. Mehr

Not my 1st stay but probably our last. The staff were not friendly at all. We were never greated as we came and left the hotel unless we spoke up loud and made them talk. When we 1st arrived we were given a handicapped room. If we had been informed before we got to the room we would have asked for another room without having to call down and be changed.. […] We stayed for 3 nights and our room was not cleaned once..we did not even get new towels. Very nice comfortable and quiet room. Easy access and walking distance to shops, bourbon street, and riverport. We had a good time!

I really wanted to give this hotel at least 4 points for the kind staff service. But considering some of the review criteria - namely maintenance and comfort - it really does not deserve more than 3 points. As soon as I stepped into the bathroom, I noticed that the large towel had red-brown stains. I did not want to know if it was from a menstruating […] woman or what, but let's just say that there were two more small towels with stains as well. At least the front desk sent new towels immediately, which I appreciated. And the room was FREEZING. Yes, I visited here in December, but it was colder than my apartment in New York with stingy heating! The heater controller was not useful either.. it seemed to be putting out cold air if anything, so might be a good thing if you are visiting in summer. Mehr
