"Nice people, quality construction, authentic feel"

The room was very nice. I had stayed only one night but wished I had more time. The breakfast was top notch and set the pace for a great day. The room was very clean and the construction details were high quality. The only thing that I would recommend is to put in a plush chair for relaxing. The iron back funiture was a little uncomfortable for lounging.

"A bit disappointing"

We chose the Bonaparte for a romantic getaway for our 20th anniversary. The place was nice. We paid more for a balcony and view of the cathedral but the room was not really anything special. The bed was not very comfortable. We ended up moving to another hotel because we had really wanted a special experience and while the Bonaparte was nice it wasn't very special. The breakfast was great and our waitress was charming. The front desk staff was not very friendly and didn't even bother to look up from the computer when we returned from dinner. They gave us no problem about moving. I would recommend this as an ok place to stay but would not recommend the patio room unless the weather is really nice and you can utilize it.

"Excellent hotel"

Very much enjoyed staying at this hotel. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was outstanding. An excellent breakfast was included in the price of the room, and the hotel is well situated within walking distance of historic points of interest and the downtown shopping district. A metro station is a few blocks away, so for convenience this hotel is a great choice. Overall, I was impressed and would stay at this hotel on my next visit to Montreal.

"excellent hotel"

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights at the Hotel Bonaparte. The room we had was beautiful, the service was excellent and the location was perfect to visit Old Montreal.
