It was fine-- not sure why it's mobile diamond rated unless that was a long time ago. Nice room, nice pool, great location. Our experience was negatively affected by one front desk employee--a short, blond woman. Very rude on our check-in, and on a phone call we made about what time the pool opened. Strange rooms with huge windows out to the hallway, […] and no curtains (just slat blinds) to block the light coming in to our kids' pull-out-couch bedroom (you can easily look into the rooms from the hallway with the blinds closed-- a little creepy). Otherwise, a nice visit to beaver creek. All stuff (including the front desk woman) I'd seen on other reviews-- so it wasn't a huge surprise. We'll probably pick another spot next time. Mehr

The Beaver Creek Lodge was centrally located in the Beaver Creek Resort area. The hotel was clean, well kept, and the service was EXCELLENT. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights we had there. The only improvements I could see are having larger TV's. The one in the bedroom was kind of small viewing it from the king size bed. The other was actually still […] a 32ish size tube TV with a "better than nothing" picture (I was surprised to see an old tube TV in such a nice place). We'd definitely come back to this hotel. Mehr

Just back from a week at Beaver Creek Lodge. Would give it a 4+ overall, largely due to the location, relative value and experience we had with hotel service. CONS - the overall hotel conditions just OK. Not the mountain lodge vibe I was hoping for. Definitely needs upgrade to common areas, feels dated. - room layout is good, but small for 1 BR. With […] that said, we were rarely in room so wasn't big issue for us. Big enough for 2 adults and 2 younger kids - anything more than that definitely pushing it. - had strange issue w shower temp. Either too cold or scalding hot, was tough to find right hot. Not a huge deal, just had to play with it. PROS - what do they say in real estate? Location, location, location. The BC Lodge has prime spot in BC Village literally steps from lifts and ski school. Couldn't have been easier to get kids to ski school - or to run back to condo if I forgot something (ie, almost every day). Was there 8 days and never got in a car or shuttle bus once, accept to go to to Bachelor Gulch for dinner. - bed is super comfy. Others have pointed this out and totally true. - had very good experience w hotel staff/services. Housekeeping was excellent and super nice. Concierge hooked us up w a very last-minute babysitter. Room service was really good (great pasta and steak for kids). Ski storage at Christy's could not be easier (although would be nice to store boots there as well). - pool area pretty good, was never crowded. Have seen nicer facilities but overall a plus. - a good value for Beaver Creek. You can spend a whole lot more at other places. - the BC Vilage a big plus. Lots of good restaurants, ice skating, coffee, stores, etc. All the more reason why you won't find yourself in the room much. Would definitely recommend. Just don't expect a Ritz Carlton, it's not. But overall a nice place, great location, nice people and good value. Mehr

Not impressed the hotel staff was not up to par

Very happy with the room size and location in the resort, easy access to slopes, shops, and has the ski shop and food right in the hotel lobby so easy access to rent, valet ski's without leaving the hotel. Staff was 5 star.... Privacy issue with blinds ...need to be adjusted or curtain installed... We would stay again!

Had never been to Colorado and what a treat to find such a great place to stay. Loved our room, quiet and very homey. It was easy to walk everywhere and the views were beautiful. The restaurant was closed, but we were able to get room service. The maid cleaned the room very good, and we loved our stay.

Fantastic boutique hotel great service great location friendly staff and great art

Beaver Creek Co a very nice area and the Beaver Creek Lodge is just outstanding! From the valet to the bartender, everone was friendly and outgoing.

My wife and I wanted to get out of the city for our first anniversity. This was our first trip to Beaver Creek. Surely will not be the last. The surrounding area was beautiful. The hotel was the same. Our room was much larger than expected. The pictures on the website don't do justice. The pool was a little small, but I wasn't going to swim any laps […] in the first place! The hot tub was hot and not over crowded. The only problem I had was the food prices. I understand its a resort, and most of the people in that town are rich, but $15 for yogurt was just ridiculous. Beautiful accommodations. Loved the livingroom & fireplace. Very comfortable bed with superior bedding . Excellent rating on cleanliness!! We were so impressed we stayed an extra night!

We stayed here before the reverse roadbike ride triple by pass, and it was fairly upscale. However, the blinds on windows that look onto the hall were a bit strange. The restaurant was a 3.5. The hotel staff does make a huge effort to remember your name and to be ready to serve. The fact that they didn't want bikes or skis in the room seemed odd, considering […] it IS a resort lodge. The set up of the room, also a bit strange, worked out fantastically well for us! The location was great for the base, shopping and restaurants. Summer parking fee was very reasonable, Mehr

the interior layout allows noise from the restaurant and bar to enter the room without any buffering from walls. this makes for a very loud sleeping environment. if you do not want to pay for the valet parking free parking is available at nearby lots during the summer

The place is sweet. Well cared for.

Beware of the parking HUGE FEES (was BIG % of my total night rate), they charged me $24.00 per DAY for parking! Not sure I ever paid this much even at a 5 star hotel, oh yes a 5 star would never approach parking this way. They hide this with small print on the confirmation email you receive once booking is FINISHED, not ever mentioned beforehand, […] as opposed to making it clear at the front desk when you arrive, there is no mention of this till the morning you wake up and have a bill at your front hotel room door, nice exit strategy. I wont stay here EVER again due to this. So many new properties in this area of VAIL, check out Lionshead area a brand new section of town, awesome properties to stay. Mehr

Nice and cozy hotel with a friendly and attentive staff. We loved the location - the view from the room was beautiful. We originally booked the Queen suite but were given a complementary upgrade to a King suite upon the check-in. The concierge Susan was extremely helpful and accommodating to us. When we left my daughter's gloves on her desk on the way […] out to dinner, Susan came running in her suit and high heels in the freezing cold weather to return the gloves. Susan was genuinely concerned that my 6 year old daughter might get cold while riding a snowcat to Beano's Cabin (restaurant). Mehr

When one stays at a "nice hotel" you expect a level of service beyond a normal hotel. Please be aware that the Beaver Creek Lodge does not surpass those expectations. It is clean and in a great location but does not serve its guest with that "something special." Extra care does not come easily and is poorly communicated. A simple example is the policy […] for parking: the ski slope closes 3:00 but parking resets for the another $24 charge at 1:00. A normal high quality hotel would, even with the same policy, wouldn't force its customers to move their cars, pay the daily $24 charge, or spring that charge upon check out. Nice hotel with a few hidden costs that are poorly communicated. Set your expectations appropriately. Mehr

The room was fantastic. The staff was wonderful. The property was clean and located in a perfect location close to the slopes. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and can't wait to return.

Beaver Creek Lodge was one of the nicest, most elegant hotels we have ever stayed in. The room was beautiful and included many extra immenities we were not expecting. We would return in a second!

The bed comforter was very uncomfortable, huge, heavy, and hot. The first night , we did not have a good sleep thanks to the comforter, The second night, we had to remove the comforter from its cover and use only the cover as a blanket. While even cheaper hotels during our trip had free parking and refreshments in their lobby, this hotel charged us […] for the parking and had nothing in its lobby. Mehr

The only reason I could stay at this hotel was that I found a great rate on hotels.com, otherwise it would have been out of my price range. But, for what I paid the hotel was EXCELLENT. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were very comfortable and clean, and it was just steps away from Beaver Creek Village. Overall it was a great experience. […] The only thing to watch out for are hidden charges - valet parking, a hotel service fee... Mehr

Considering this was touted as a 4 star hotel I was shocked at the quality of your linens. My King bed had a bottom sheet that may have been a double!! I think a Motel 6 was the last time I slept on a sheet that didn't fit the mattress.

We were very pleased with the price, comfort and service of the hotel.

We almost stayed in Aspen, which would have been a huge mistake. There is all sort of construction going on in Aspen. Beaver Creek Lodge is a short drive from Aspen, accessed through a gated entry that allows one to drive up the lovely private road into the village center. We got a great deal on the room due to the time of year (late May) and were amazed […] at how great the room was. It's really for skiers, so there's a very nice kitchenette with a small table and living room area as well. The bedroom is appointed beautifully with great views and windows that can be opened to let in the great mountain air. The restaurant in the Lodge is also outstanding; they had a special on a three course meal for $24, and it was really spectacular. The chef combined flavors and ingredients that were to die for, ie. the blue crab egg roll. We enjoyed our overnight stay so much that we almost extended it another night, but didn't have the time to do so. Mehr

Superbe hôtel, très bien situé au coeur de la nature. tout est beau et les chambres sont très spacieuses et bien équipée. le service est impeccable et tout est fait pour s'y plaire. idéla en hiver car la station de ski est belle. En été, c'est très joli aussi, il y a de nombreuses balades. Hôtel à ne pas manquer!!!
