"Brooklyn Days Inn"
Much smaller rooms than pictures shown Hotel staff not friendly only answer you can get "no and impossible" You never get "thank you or your welcome"
"A hotel flourishes in Brooklyn"
We had a very pleasant stay at this Days Inn in Brooklyn. The rooms were very clean, the staff was very pleasant and friendly. Morning Breakfast was a great way to start the day. The location of this hotel was really great. It was only about 20 minutes by subway to downtown Manhattan. Considering rates for downtown Manhattan were two to three times […] as much,,,,,for essentially the same amenities. This hotel in Brooklyn was worth every penny. Mehr
"Good hotel!"
This was small, it was a bit loud, was a bit uncomfortable for 4 people, but for the price, for the location, and the kindness and above and beyond-ness of the hotel staff, I rated it a 5. If you are picky, don't stay here. If you are looking for a cost effective, convient place to stay that is safe and clean, this is the place. The breakfast was go […] od. Mehr

"Days in - brooklyn,39th Street"
the staffs were excellent. There were a lots of noises coming out from the neighbour's room. when I complain to the front-desk, they immediately shifted me to a new room. Very close to the subway station. Its a good hotel.
"Days Inn Brooklyn - it works"
Convenient location and good price, room was clean, coffee was good. Only complaint was after booking for 3 people we had to pay extra to get a cot for the third person. It wasn't expensive, but it seemed silly to charge for what should have been included in the booking.
4 blocks from an express train to Manhattan. Mexican -Asian neighborhood. Great breakfast selection; comfortable bed and pillow. Ask for a room on the back side because of truck traffic on the front side.
"Great price, convenient location"
Just a few blocks from a subway station, this hotel is the perfect alternative to a pricey Manhattan hotel, without sacrificing convenience. Contrary to the listing, the hotel does have free wifi. I world return on my next NYC trip.
"Worst hotel ever!!!"
The entire hotel smells like an ashtray. It doesn't matter if you don't smoke, because the non smoking rooms are in the same floor as the smoking rooms. The smell of cigarette smoke enters in your room, it's terrible. The hotel is close to one of parts that the subway goes though the surface, the noise is terrible during the entire night. It's not worth […] this hotel, even with the good price. Mehr
"Days Inn is a convenient hotel stay"
This is my third time staying at Days Inn Brooklyn on 39th Street. The staff is good, the location is good (although I am in Manhattan alot), and the neihborhood has a 24 hours Mcdonald's, some deli's, restaurants, and convenient stores and a washeteria. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are on a budget and want to stay away from those […] pricy hotels in Manhattan. Mehr
"Sorry"
This hotel was one of the worst I have ever visited. We had to ask for toliet tissue for our room, upon arrival. Our room was not serviced the second and we had to ask for clean towels. the so called free parking was maybe four spaces. I realize we were in New York but these are basic things and have nothing to do with the city. Also, the room was the […] size of a shoe box. There was not even room to walk around the beds. Horrible place for the big price tag. This was one of the reccommended hotels I suggest that you remove it from the list. Mehr
"Days Inn Brooklyn"
Stayed here with a colleague in April 2011 on a business trip. Booked here because of the very competitive rates, half of what you would pay in Manhattan. Located a five minute walk from a well-served subway. Hotel was clean and comfortable, whilst the breakfast was a bit fast-foodish. It suited us, however, as we were typically dashing out for meetings […] each day. Surrounding neighbourhood might be offputting for some, but it didn't bother us a jot. We will stay there again for the good value. Mehr

I didn't receive what i have paid for. I got a smoking room instead of a non-smoked room.
"Not what I expected."
Being a first time traveller to the New York area I hadnt realised first of all how far away this hotel was. The neighbourhood is quite shabby & we didnt bother exploring it further. After paying a $30-$40 taxi fare from Manhatten we arrived at a foyer so small the automatic doors didnt know whether to open or close with us & our luggage inside. I wasn't […] give any information as to the breakfast service, the wifi details or that there is no laundry service. Squeezing into the elevator we arrived at our room which I literally couldnt get into with my bags due to the size & layout! The shower was broken & to be honest I felt completely deflated. The following morning I requested a room change which was much better & the rest of our stay wasn't too bad. Mehr
Was very happy!u guys need to smile more
"1 Queen-bed room good for singles but not for two"
Budget priced bed & breakfast 1-bed room good for singles but too cramped for two. Reception a bit rude but other staff ok. Clean bathroom is a plus point.
"Days Inn Brooklyn 39th St"
This hotel entirely smelled of smoke. Apparently all of the rooms can be used as smoking reserved rooms. They only clean it and use deoderizers to mask the smell of smoke but as you walk out the room you inhale the stench of smoke. The rooms are very small, its like sleeping in a walk in closet with a bathroom. I actually booked this thinking it was […] a different hotel ive previously stayed at, so my fault there. BUT I WILL NEVER STAY AT A DAYS INN AGAIN AND NEITHER SHOULD YOU. For what you get as a room and in service from the staff, the price should be less than half what i paid. Oh and bring an internet card or mobile link up, their wifi service is HORRIBLE to the point IE had to change the browser based on the below low bandwidth available. My recommendation to you, DON STAY HERE! Mehr

Definitely a place to lay your head. Not to much more. For the price in NY, I supposed this was sufficient. Not a hostel, but close.

"Days Inn Brooklyn at 39th Str"
The hotel's not bad in general. However, the location is extremely noisy - close to the Expressway - which hardly made me sleep at night. The window shuttered at wind. To add this, the buses started pulling out of the parking slot nearby at 5am right below the window.
as I stated ealier hotel was close to my destination, inexpensive and clean. Will come again.......

"As expected"
The hotel is simple and clean - what I expected, nothing more, nothing less. I arrived late and left early. My friend had breakfast there and said it wasn't great but not bad, either. Many hotels in other cities allow late checkout for free; this one told me $15/hour. It may be the norm in NYC.

"Days Inn Brooklyn"
Average suburban big-city motel. Fairly convenient (3-and-a half blocks from subway station); neighborhood is safe. Rooms were average: bedlinen and towels worn, fairly clean. Bathrooms modern. Breakfasts were all right, apart from not having yogurt available; choice of bread was non-existent - white only; toaster was only half-operational, and wasn't […] fixed during our five-day stay; poor choice of cereals available. Overall, average. Next time my wife and I are going to choose a closer-in option. Mehr

"Good budget hotel"
Room was small but adequate, staff was friendly enough. Parking was limited (about 6 spots) but we got a spot so I was happy. Neighborhood seemed ok - definitely different than Manhattan, but we had no problems. It seemed safe enough for the times we were out in it. Subway into Manhattan was fast in the mornings with the express train, but it took a […] while to come back at night on the local train. All in all, a pretty good pick if you want to visit one of the world's more expensive cities but stay on a budget, while still having some privacy (ie with your significant other, so don't want to do the hostel thing). "Hotel accessible to New York"
I like this hotel because it is only 3 blocks from the D train, and there are many different shops on 4th and 5th avenue to buy food or eat. A most convenient place to be.
"The Hotel close brooklyn china town"
very good location and close to the place that I expected.
"Bad choice"
the rooms are extremely small with no walking space. The hotel parking is limited to 8 spaces with no street parking. The hotel is located in a neighborhood with limted parking in the immediate area. Some rooms are located in the basement of the hotel that they call the "first floor". The basement has a mildew aroma!!! The bathroom in the rooms are […] so close to the bed you can pratically roll over in the bed and touch the toilet! No a good place to stay!! Mehr

"bad choice"
Smokey - non Smoking rooms. So small that i could just squeeze by the end of the bed. Did not service room! Noisy location with subway next to hotel - all night noise. Never again will I believe the reviews on Hotels.com or book a Days Inn. Awful!

This hotel was three blocks from the 36th street Metro Train "D" stop. The room was clean but the queen size bed took up much of the room and getting around it was a chore. The staff was friendly and helpful.
"friendly staff, average hotel"
We did this one as a last minute booking so we didn't expect much. Our main concern was the commute to the city and in this sense it is very convincing (subway around the block, 20 min to times square). We needed a room for 3 so the choice got narrow for late reservations. The Staff is very friendly to a point where they almost read your mind. Unfortunately […] we had a room facing the back so we have been exposed to the subways squeaking noise disabling us to open the window. The stairwell fire-doors bang really hard in the hallway - it will definitely wake you up if you don't sleep like a rock! The breakfast is rather a snack, but that is expected in many hotels in that price-range and not a deal breaker for us really. If my first-choice hotels in NYC are booked as for this time, i would stay in this hotel again. Mehr

"Ok location, clean, but don't expect more than basics"
The room was clean and comfortable, but the fridge is empty and they don't say much at reception. When I arrived, they barely greeted me, but then I suppose that's better than in your face over friendliness! Location is ok, actually quite good in terms of access to the subway (2 blocks) and the wide choice of Brooklyn bars and restaurants is only about […] a 25min walk or $8 in a cab. Mehr

"Great place"
Great hotel, great location, great stay!! Will definity be coming back.
"days in brooklyn ny"
All good, but shower did not work.
"Don't Stay Here"
The hotel is shabby and the staff is even worse. Unfriendly and disinterested. Worst of all this hotel is right next to an above ground subway and every 15 minutes all through the night you hear squeekying brakes and rumbling rails.
