A highly recommendable place to stay either for business or individual travel purpose

Das Radisson Edwardian Manchester entsprach vollkommen unseren Erwartungen. Das Zimmer war sehr ruhig und komfortabel. Die SPA war sehr schön und sauber. Albert Square, Town Hall waren innert einer Minute zu Fuss erreichbar und wir konnten ebenfalls zu Fuss alle benachbarten Quartiere erkunden, ohne öffentliche Verkehrsmittel nutzen zu müssen oder Taxi […] zu fahren. Sehr kundenorientiertes Hotel mit freundlichem Personal. Die Lage ist für ruhesuchende Städtereisende perfekt, uns wars ein bisschen zu weit vom Stadtzentrum/den Einkaufsstrassen entfernt, aber wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Vorteilhaft ist eine Zimmervermerkung mit einer Nummer über 25 um den direkten Blick ins benachbarte Wohnhaus zu vermeiden. […] Die Zimmer haben eine gute Grösse und das Badezimmer lässt keine Wünsche offen. Moderner Neubau hinter alter Fassade. Wenig Flair. Ruhig. Fenster lassen sich nicht öffnen, aber Klima ist leise und präzise. Zentral gelegen, Innenstadt schnell und bequem per Fuss zu erreichen. Das Hotel liegt im Zentrum von Manchester und bietet den idealen Ausgangspunkt für einen Stadtbesuch. Der Service war makellos, das Zimmer sehr sauber und das Bett äusserst bequem. From the first moment we walked in to the hotel the staff were very friendly and attentive, asking if we needed help with our luggage! Received a free drink coupon when checked in which was a nice touch. Room was in immaculate condition, however it seemed the safe was not bolted to the wall, but did not worry me too much! Had full access to the gym […] facilities, which includes a decent sized swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room, very relaxing indeed. Only a 10 minute max walk to the arndale shopping centre, even closer to King street where we went for food during the evening, very straight forward to and from the hotel. We really enjoyed the stay, staff very friendly and helpfull, room and hotel spotless. this was or second stay at the hotel and looking at dates to rebook.

Standard business hotel. Bedroom OK - valance looked a bit jaded and pillows in room were dreadful for a hotel of this quality. Breakfast could have been better - distinct lack of fruit/yoghurt type options. Staff on the whole were very helpful and the public areas were clean. Swimming pool and gym are useful additions..

The staff were EXTREMELY friendly and room was clean. I would recommend this hotel, but a room facing the sights! The toilet in my room was broken (which they had fixed right away), and my rooms window faced into lobby, and was very loud at night.

Decent hotel with no frills but it's not a 5star hotel

The windows are poorly maintained. Room service is a disaster.

No windows in room and poor AC apart from that cracking location and nice enough room

Great location, fantastic facilities, helpful staff - perfect stay.

Had a fabulous weekend away with the girls, hotel is gorgeous and we all loved it. All the staff where really helpful. Few of the girls have booked to come again with their partners they liked it so much. Bar downstairs is a bit pricey but I did expect this at a 5* city hotel. I booked 3 rooms 2 through Hotel.com and 1 direct with Radisson - I loved the look of the place, the staff were great, the room was comfortable, clean and the location was perfect for me and then things went wrong, a minor hassle of booking in (fair enough) after an excellent night in Manchester we went to bed only to find traffic noise and the noisy […] people made coming out of bars (including the Radissons) kept us awake until past 2.00am I was surprised that the rooms weren't sound proofed against that. On checkout the minor hassle on booking in turned out to be a major one leaving and at present although I have a receipt they are still hanging onto my reservation fee. If you are going to stay here make sure you book through Hotel.com, request a room at the back of the hotel then I recommend it whole heartedly Mehr

my fav hotel in manchester

I stayed there for my 2nd time this Friday and things didn't go well. I'd booked a double room months ago, but was told they only had twins left, despite me making my booking months ago. The room is nice enough, don't expect nice views of the city like you get at the Hilton down the road, but nice and roomy (would be even more room if i had a double, […] not 2 twins :p). They also use far too use air freshener coming out of the lifts, it's way too strong and frankly smells awful. Mehr

First impressions of this hotel are that outwardly it retains its classic look; a beautiful brownstone building that you could easily imagine has stood the test of time far longer than many of its contemporary modern competitors. Step inside the lobby (via the doorman) and you are presented with a far more up-to-date view. Comfy sofas, modern sculptures […] and a general ambience of class and luxury ensue. Upon check in the staff were pleasant and courteous and we were up to our room within ten minutes of entering the building - just what was needed on a cold and rainy day in Manchester. Despite being slightly disappointed with the size of the room itself, this didn't take away anything from the comfort or the style. The bed was large and adorned with luxurious cushions, the bathroom consisted of a wet room, bath and separate dressing area so ideal if more than one of you wants to get ready at any one time. The usual mini bar and television services were available, as was free wi-fi..handy because neither of us was able to get a phone signal in the room! Although not having a great view of the city (we were side-on to the reception area) the room was more than adequate for our needs and we had a good night's sleep in comfort and peace and quiet. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel the next morning (quite expensive, even for a 5 star hotel!) but the fact that you are bang slap in the middle of the city means that you can eaily source something more suitable if you want to venture out. The bar and the afternoon tea facilities also looked good and there was a good atmosphere when we came back to the hotel on the Friday evening after our night out. The doormen ensured that nobody who wasn't meant to be there was allowed in and this ensured that there was no trouble from the usual suspects. On the whole, we would stay there again and you do get what you pay for. For a well-appointed, good quality hotel in a great location, you can't go wrong with the Radisson Edwardia Mehr

This place was exceptional! Facilities were fantastic and responsiveness of the staff was amazing. Great food in restaurant. I sometimes stay at Radisson in Edinburgh and there is no comparison.

Efficient & friendly check in. Room was very comfortable and bathroom spacious. Drinks in bar a bit expensive but otherwisae no complaints at all.

the hotel staff on reception were wearing very tired uniforms that looked washed to death. The room when we got in was also very tired the room was small and not double as ordered but twin room-when we complained they did not offer to give us a better room or double but did not appear bothered. I have stayed in many five star hotels and i feel this […] was no better than 3 star hotels. there were no slippers or toiletries provided it had no luxury feel to it at all. Well we got to stay here when the Newcastle players were stay here, so I am sure that gives it away that this is a nice hotel. Overall pleased with the hotel. Only thing i hated was that the key kept cutting out so i had to get a new one all the time.

Close to centre of Manchester; very pleasant hotel. Unfortunately there was a political party conference nearby which meant a large part of surrounding area was cordoned off, with large police presence. Very comfortable room Good breakfast in the morning

Stayed for one night to celebrate friends birthday. Lovely hotel (have stayed once before).Disappointed that we did't have any biscuits on the tea tray and not a bottle of water in the room or even the option of taking one from the mini bar as it was locked. This is a 5 star hotel after all.

Very good hotel great for visit to the Bridgewater theatre.

I try to use the Raddison every time I am in Manchester on business. it is a superb hotel wiht efficient, obliging and friendly staff and the hotel is always in very good condition. It is ideally located in the centre of Manchester and on occasions when I can't get a booking here and have to use some of the other city centre hotels I am reminded of […] just how nice this hotel really is . Love a weekend and Theatre in Manchester so decided to have a change from our usual choice of staying at the Lowry and gave the Radisson a try. Not disappointed ! Great staff & buzzin atmosphere and our room was fantastic. Trendy, clean and comfortable. Cocktails in the bar and the Breakfast the following morning were scrumptious. Didn't eat in the […] Restaurant because we love going to San Carlos but we shall definately be trying the Radisson again ! Mehr

Beautiful modern and comfortable hotel in central Manchester. Excellent spa, 2 lovely restaurants and very comfortable rooms. I would stay there again.
