Unfortunately there was always a long line at the front desk, and the concierge would not even pick up the phone during busy times. It took them four attempts to clear my phone for outgoing calls (each attempt involving a lengthy wait as the front desk was not reachable by phone). Meanwhile I was forced to use my foreign cellphone at ridiculous roaming […] rates. The Quality Inn WiFi did not work in my room. At least the room was clean and the location of the hotel is convenient. Mehr

Nice little room, comfy bed. Cold ac, tv., micro, fridge. Good breakfast in morning(free). Im going back! Can't beat it for the price

Dirty!!! Gross filthy walls & furniture broken ac broken door lock. Requested extra blanket was told they didn't have any.

Hotel was nice its close to Sea World. Which was most important to us on this trip. The place has free covered parking. The room was clean and comfortable. It looks like they are slowly replacing the furniture or restoring it. Over all it's a nice pick for the price. If you want a swimming pool don't look here..

I got this room because it was cheap and close to the jobsite i was working at. The first had room had a water leak at the shower so they put me in another room. It wasnt much better but the location was convenient.

Bathroom was not clean, hair on the floor, open and used shampoo and soap bar. Cup of stale beer still on the nightstand. Room smelled moldy due to a very wet corner of the carpet in the room (under the coat rack) Room 211. Breakfast only served til 9am, checkout is 11am....should be served later also, several guests had to knock on the door to get […] into the dining room for breakfast because hotel staff locked the door. The complimentary FULL breakfast was wonderful. It's a great way to start a busy day.

During my stay I requested the room heater/A/C to be fixed and they never attended to the problem and the nights were pretty cold at the time we were staying.

The hotel was nice for the price, however not a place you would spend a week or more in with 2 or more people because of the size of the room. But overall a great hotel, wonderful breakfast, very helpful staff.

Well let me start by saying, Why is the elevator the in the far corner but stairs are in the center. Very backwards to me for people who are in the front or middle. (Like I was). Then the rooms were so cramped and small felt as though I was in a closet. Walls are so thin could hear the neighbors all night. Loud door slamming. Plus the motion sensor […] lights are annoying for when laying in bed watching tv and they continuously cut off. The bathrooms were fairly spacious but about equal in size to the room itself. I would have preferred a smaller bathroom for a bigger room. Mehr

I thought this hotel would be a good value, so I booked it for 3 nights. The night I arrived I was exhausted and looked on the night stand to put my purse down. There were these little bugs all over it. Immediately I thought what did I get myself into? My air conditoner/heater was also broken. The next morning I got up and went and had breakfast. The […] breakfast wasn;t bad. I went back to room and found that my bags had been infested with cockroaches. Yes, I took pictures. The blow dryer was melted and started sparking when I used it. I tried to get into another hotel, but I could not find one willing to let me check in as early as needed. I will not use this hotel again. Mehr

I booked this by phone with Hotels.com. I won't make that mistake again. The automatic light sensor was broken (smashed) so the hotel took the bulbs out of the lamp. The bathtub had been repaired so much the paint and patches peeled off as we showered. The furniture was damaged. The air grilled was smashed, probably because the room was so tiny someone […] fell into it trying to get into he'd without working lamps. When we saw someone jumping the fence and cruising around the cars in the lot, the front desk would not answer the phone. Overall, a dirty old dive best avoided. Mehr

I enjoyed the hotel because I only stayed one night. I would not recommend it for a long vacation. It is in a great location, close to shopping, dining etc. It is not as close to Sea World as I thought, but still just a few minutes to drive. What I absolutly hated was that the walls were very thin. I mean very thin. You can hear other people talk in […] their room and even breath just walking by the window. You can hear every door that closes and every faucet thats turned on. The breakfast was nice, fresh waffles, eggs, sausages, toast fresh fruit etc. All in all I liked it. Mehr

This hotel is not very modern, but the room is clean and comfortable. The room is kind of small. The breakfast is nice, but the waiting line for waffle machine is kind of long. The other thing is my room doesn't have hair dryer, but according to the describition of the hotel it said they do have hair dryer in each room, so I didn't bring my own. I called […] front desk, the man said some room have, but some don't. I asked if I can borrow one, he said he can't do anything. So this is something I'm not satisfied. If you plan to stay in this hotel, you better bring your own hair dryer. Mehr

Nice place, clean room, but very small. This room would be very crowded with more than one person. Free hot breakfast is very rare, and very cool.

We woke up with bed bug bites after one night and even found a dead bed bug. To their credit the management did cancel and refund our stay.

I had to climb 4 flights of stairs to get to my room and when I got there the door was left open and it was a mess. I had to call the front deck and let them know the situation and the had me wait at the room until one of their staff brought me another room key for a different room. The 2nd room they did up grade to a 2 qn but it smelt and I went looking […] for house keeping to get air airfreshner and then I left the window and door open for an hour so the room can air out. The continental breakfast was meager at best; they had cereal, scrambled eggs, sliced up sausage, dainashes,& boiled eggs I was hungery so I ate. Mehr

Conveniently located and a great price for a Saturday night.

The hotel was a good value for the price. The room was very small but adequate and clean. The only complaints I had were about the quality of the internet signal and the breakfast. The internet signal was "spotty" and inconsistent. You never knew whether or not you were going to be able to access the internnet, and if you were able to access it, you […] never knew how long the connection would last. Regarding the continental breakfast, the hostess must have had more than one job, because when we went to eat breakfast on the morning of check-out, most of the items were depleted, and the hostess was nowhere to be found. She came in about 10 or 15 minutes later and re-stocked, and left some type of utility cart at the door, so she obviously had more than one job, which prevented her from keeping the breakfast items in good supply. Overall, it was well worth the money, but I was really disappointed with the poor internet service, as I had chosen a hotel that offered complimentary internet service in the room. Free means nothing if what you get doesn't work! Mehr

On the positive side, it looks like hotel recently did some remodeling (new LCD TVs etc.). Breakfast was above average for an economy hotel (although the breakfast room was not heated). However, wireless internet did not function properly. Most problematic was waking up to find 2 fully grown brown cockroaches and numerous recently hatched bugs in the […] bathroom. Hotel responded appropriately offering a new room... but we were only in San Diego for a one-night stand business meeting. Not likely to stay here again. Mehr
