Valet service is a must, and very easy -- no big waits. Our room with two queens and a sofabed was large and easily accomodated a family of five. Walking distance to inner Harbor and Aquarium -- good choice for a family going to visit Johns Hopkins on a college tour.

Overall good. Not enough seats/tables at the breakfast but it was good and free! Tiny pool which was quite cold. If you choose hotels based on pool quality for kiddie enjoyment, I would try something else but overall very nice rooms, beds, and great location.

Very close to attractions at Inner Harbor. Very gracious staff.

I gave this hotel all 5's except for comfort of the room because the room was pretty small. But I'd definitely stay there again, and it was only 3 blocks to the national aquarium. The indoor pool wasn't heated, so it was pretty chilly, but we swam for a little bit anyway. Just don't go to the pool expecting it to be warm.

This hotel is conveniently located two blocks from inner harbor. It is a nice property with big modern rooms. However in my room, the mattress had a huge crater in it that made for an uncomfortable night's sleep. It looked like the box spring had caved in. Also, Hampton's valet parking is astronomical, $32 a night! You can find an uncovered lot a block […] up and to the right on Baltimore st. we paid $10 for 24hrs. Mehr

Took my 2 kids to visit the aquarium etc. We had a great time - hotel was nice, rooms very spacious Staff was very friendly and they even had an indoor pool to work off any extra energy the kids had left at the end of the day! Would definately go back!

Our stay for Valentines Day at the Hampton Inn was wonderful, no complaints at all. I would definetely stay here again. Very close to the Inner Harbor, wonderful staff.

Decent room for the price. Very close to inner harbor. Overall stay was good.

Great location, heated pool was freezing cold and they gave me a beat up blanket, I asked if all visitors get a down blanket with no down they explained to me that sometimes they just don't have enough for all guests. Will never stay there again nor would I recommend to others.

I had requested a non smoking room at the time the reservation was made nearly two months before my stay. When we arrived they were sold out of non smoking rooms and I had to stay in one of their stinky smoking rooms being 6 months pregnant and it was very difficult to tolerate the smell. I guess making an advanced reservation in nonsmoking does not […] gurantee you your request in this hotel. Mehr

Good location, about 2 blocks from Inner Harbor. Parking is expensive, although the service from the valet crew was good and quick. Room was clean and roomy, breakfast buffet was pretty good except food could have been warmer. I have one major complaint, however: First thing you could smell upon entering was faint odor of cigarette smoke. At first I […] thought "Did the maid or previous occupant have a smoke before leaving?" But then later I realized the smell was coming through either the air ventilation system or room(s) from another floor, as the smell would go away then return throughout the night. So much for non-smoking rooms. Besides that, everything went pretty well, although I expected more from a Hampton Inn. Mehr

Loved this hotel! Price was fantastic, rooms were great and only a short walk to the Inner Harbor. I would stay here again and again.

I absolutely loved my stay at the Hampton inn I would recommend the hotel and book it again but do to booking issues with the site I was double booked for the hotel and hotels.com could not refund my money I will not use this site again for my travel arrangements

We stayed at the Hampton in Baltimore, Inner Harbor. It was a lovely hotel, clean, no mold smell, a great breakfast and very friendly employees. We would not hesitate to come back!

My wife and I stayed there for one night to see a show at the 1st Mariner Arena. Hotel parking is too expensive and breakfast area doesn't have enough seating, but the location is perfect, rooms were clean and staff very friendly... Overall it is a nice hotel and I would stay there again.

Hotel is two blocks from center of Harbor sights- very comfortable walk. Staff was top notch- polite, friendly and efficient. Room was clean and nicely laid out- vanity outside of bathroom allowed for ease of getting ready in the morning, and bar with sink, microwave and fridge allowed for comforts of popcorn and snacks in the evening. Breakfast was […] crowded with not enough seating during peak times (8-9 am) but it was nice to have a place to come back for quiet tea/coffee in the early evening, so the area was fine as long as you avoided peak hours. Valet prompt as could be expected, directions and maps dispensed helpfully, and overall, one of the few vacations that I have taken recently where I would not have changed a thing about the hotel. I should have known better than to stay at a hotel in the inner harbor. I had to play church services near by for Christmas and opted to stay close by rather than drive an hour and a half home. The most annoying thing is the location, even though it's close to the inner harbor you will pay dearly for that closeness which didn't benefit me at all with […] the purpose of my stay. I'm familiar with Baltimore and I know how expensive it can be to park. I did not realize the hotel did not have free private parking. You can pay $32 for valet parking, or pay $19 a day for the garage. Neither option is great, but if you plan to spend extended time at the inner harbor I believe it's better to come up for the day and stay in some of the other garages, or enjoy the harbor after 5 when the rates are cheaper. If you DO stay at the hotel, park where the recommend. You do not want to park in a garage that isn't attended 24-7. Ours was and I was still nervous about leaving my car. Not all the places near by are nice. Hope this helps. If you get a good rate like we did it may still be a better deal than some of the other hotels nearby, even with the daily parking. Mehr

The front desk set us up at check-in, with a room. We entered the room with the keys they provided, unloaded our items and then left for dinner. We returned to find that our keys now would not let us into the room. I went to the front desk and explained. They told me I was trying to enter the wrong room. I explained to them we were in the room already, […] and the keys worked prior. They would not believe me, they sent a security officer up to the floor. After waiting in the lobby and camped out in the hallway in front of the original room for 20 minutes, they finally rekeyed my door keys for the original room. There was never an apology. They mumbled about security issues and the need to talk with their manager about system issues and failures. Interesting enough, not only did the keys work in the "wrong" room, but the room number on the key pouch was written as the original room number. Sarcastically I ask.. could it have been human error? This was a very uncomfortable moment for my family and I. Even though no apology, they at least gave my kids some free snacks for making them wait in the hallway, while security rummaged through the issue. The place was very clean, and well decorated. The beds were hard as rocks. The comforters were some type of down, but you can see through them and notice that all the filling was bunched up into the corners. Not very warm or comfortable. Two out of three days the complimentary breakfast coffee was empty. The hotel is downtown, nice area but difficult to find. Even for the taxi service, it was difficult. Looks are deceiving and I clearly would not recommend this hotel. Too bad, Hampton is usually very reliable. Mehr

Sure, valet parking was offered, but at a VERY high rate. And the meter system in that area is ridiculous - $2/hour, 1 hour/max. Also, the King room is much smaller than a double queen. Lastly, I paid extra for a breakfast "buffet" when the breakfast offered is the same for all room choices amd packages. I specifically chose this package for the buffet […] and for nothing but more money out of my pocket. With this and the parking it would have been cheaper to stay in an area slightly further north and right by the highway! Mehr

Very good location. Only two blocks away from the Inner Harbor. The hotel room was well designed and clean. The staff was friendly and they had a very nice breakfast.

This hotel was good but nothing special. The pool was tiny, stuck in the basement with no ventilation and in need of repairs. I was looking forward to swimming but the pool was so unattractive I decided to not. If you stay here prepare to spend an extra $32 per night on parking. Also expect mediocre customer service & staff who'd rather talk to each […] other than help you. Overall, the hotel was below my expectation of what Hampton usually lives up to. Mehr

It is wonderfuk hotel. Room is large and clean. Breakfast is free. Restaurant is opened before 5AM. So, we could got breakfast in the hotel though departure from Baltimore/Washington International airport was 6:30 AM.

Very clean, friendly staff, great breakfast, clean pool. Great Stay,,, IF I had to pick one pro, it would be mattress's are strarting to need replaced... esp. on the sleeper sofas.

I cannot think of anything bad about this hotel except that I had to walk about 4-5 blocks to the convention center. On the other hand, it was within a block or 2 of restaurants, shops and the Harbor which was great. I would recommend this to anyone going to the Baltimore area.

Our room was very nice and very clean The beds were very comfortable, not like some other hotels. The only thing I would complain about is that the filter in our room was very dirty and needs to be changed but, other than that it was lovely !

I'm used to staying at the Hampton Inn's no matter where I travel, this Hampton was extremely similar to the others. Very pleased. The only comments I have that are negative would be, the smokers post outside the front door was NOT cleaned out in the 3 days I was there. And the front desk staff, at night tend to fool around and are not as professional […] as i've seen at other Hamptons. Still they were nice and I would stay here again. Mehr

Nice stay. Decent price. Convenient to Inner Harbor attractions. Breakfast very good. Indoor pool nice, water little on cool side.

Room was clean. Free breakfast was good and the hotel was close to everywhere we needed to be. The view was poor but seriously who books a room for a view? I will be back here again.

My favorite place to stay in the Inner Harbor area in Baltimore. Just enough off the beaten track to be affordable, but easily walkable to everything. Friendly, helpful staff, and a great breakfast.

This hotel was a bit expensive for the condition of the rooms and "oldness" of the hotel but it is soo close to the Harbour and that was the best part. The Harbour in Baltimore is FANTASTIC!

Booked a family room thru Hotels.com. The hotel told me they overbooked and that this was pretty much standard. They tried to make me settle for the same room but a smoking one. Went to look at that room and it absolutely stunk. Went back to reception and said I woujld not accept that and that I either wanted my room or I wanted two rooms to have my […] family sleep. Eventually the guy on reception got us a room the same as I had booked. I guess somebody else then had the same problem as me as the bill had my name but somebody else's address on it. The room was okay, breakfast was good and the indoor pool was freezing! Mehr
