While the deco seemed dated to me, it was comfortable & clean.

The condo was great and was a great value. Our unit featured golf course views and was close to the pool and other amenities etc. The only drawback to the stay is the pool areas are small but this is a very minor setback. Great place to stay for the money!

We really enjoyed our stay at Grand Champions. The condos are a bit older but the unit we were in was maintained and very clean. Our only complaint was that the TV in our unit was old so I couldn't connect my laptop to it but the Destinations folks were very accommodating and though they couldn't move us to another room due to availability they put […] a newer TV in our unit for the week. Great vacation and I would definitely recommend staying here. Beach was a 5 minute walk away, so were the shops and golf courses were really close by as well. Mehr

Five perfect nights in our 1BR 2Bath 2nd floor condo. Specific units are not assigned until arrival. Offsite check in a little different, but staff was superb. Condo was spotless, fully equipped, right down to some basic beach accessories. Ocean view from Lanai only, but spent most breakfasts and dinners there anyway. Overlooked the Wailea tennis club […] courts and Joes Bar and Grill, great food and easy walk to wonderful Monkey Pod restaurant. Less than 10 minute walk to the amazing and upscale Shops at Waiela which are next door to the Wailea Grand Resort. Two pools in complex with nice BBQ grills. You need a car for beachs. Fine place to stay for the price. Only problem was with only two window AC it was impossible to keep the room cool after noon,

The hotel was great. It was close to everything we needed. We had great amenities such as tennis, laundry, pool access, and nearby restaurants. The room was large. The kitchen was useful.

Very large condo with comfortable furnishings, esp. king-size bed. Excellent kitchen and other amenties. Overlooked mountain/Haleakala and golf course. Would have preferred an ocean view and a little closer to the beaches. VERY QUIET and appropriate for people who escape to play golf.

Great location. Clean facility with a great view of the beach. Close to beach, shops, and hotel restaurants.

Booked a 3-bedroom condo last minute after resort hotel rates were through the roof. Totally lucked out and scored an amazing 2nd floor unit with ocean view and overlooking the ocean with amazing sunsets. We spent a lot of time on the deck enjoying the view and being entertained by golfers (good and bad). The unit was obviously updated and was very […] comfortable. We enjoyed being able to make our own meals and allow our 3-year old to take an afternoon nap. The beaches were plentiful and close, plus running along the ocean front trail in the morning was very pleasant. We thoroughly enjoyed a meal at the new Monkeypod restaurant just up the road with 36 brews on tap. Again, very pleasant stay, we didn't want to leave. We are already talking about taking a future trip and asking for that specific unit. Maui is one of the best spots on earth. Mehr

The condo unit was very clean with modern furnishing,and exceeded expectations. Beach within walking distance.Shopping nearby. Great place to stay.

We had number 85 on the 7th green of Weilea Old Blue course. Ocean view. Very comfortable one bedroom condo. I would recommend it to anyone.

We loved our condo and the resort as a whole and would definitely stay there again. We had a little difficulty checking in on a Saturday and had to ask a maid to direct us to the Destination Resorts office offsite. We were not provided with any information or directions to do this on our confirmation paperwork. We feel this could be better handled for […] those condo renters like us who are first-timers. Mehr

Carpet in main foyer,traffic area was dirty. Mini blinds in bedroom should be shorten to avoid blowing when air conditioner is on. Mattress was okay, but could feel some springs. Other than that, it was a great place, nice and roomy and loved the patio, lanai. Also, it was a good, central location. We loved Maui and the snorkeling.

The Condo was very nice and comfortable. It was furnished with everything! The onl y negative thing I can say about the complex .. is the pool /pool sign .. NO TOYS NO PLAYING NO LOUD NOISE.. not very kid friendly. Me and my 5 year old walked to the pool and then walked away after reading the sign.. There was no kids just retired people staring at us.. I would recommend this property but not the unit in which we stayed. As the units are condos, they are all furnished and decorated uniquely. I saw pictures of other units that were lovely, but ours was very dated and in desperate need of remodeling.

Very old building. Not clean inside. Kitchen in poor condition.

We were right on the golf course, and had a view straight to the ocean, and we were on the first floor. It was easy in and out to the car, and the assigned parking spot right outside our door was very nice. The unit was clean, and very well stocked - both the kitchen and the recreational aspects covered. There was a nice stereo with several island music […] CDs, family games, beach and snorkel gear, as well as detergent for the in unit washer and dryer. We had a 1 bedroom, with 4 people, and the living area was open and roomy, even with the murphy bed opened up. The unit was nice and big. i would definitely stay here again! We had a wonderful relaxing time - we usually stay in Kanapali, but this side of the island and this resort definitely have their charm, are are well-worth checking out. Mehr

The map on the site where I made the reservations is very unclear and I am very familiar with the area. I spent 1/2 hour looking for the property.

This was sooooooo much better than a hotel. Our villa was a huge apartment. We loved it. It was so private and romantic. Everything was close (snorkeling, helicopter tour, shopping & dining). We were in Maui for only a short time but ended up extending our stay!! Luckily our villa was available which was great. You must snorkel in the morning (7am). […] I know its early but you get the best of Maui. We went in the afternoon (1:30pm) and it was sooo windy (typical summer weather) that we only got to snorkel the Coral Garden and not Molokini =( . The helicopter tour was amazing. You meet other great ppl and see all of Maui. Mehr

We couldn't ask for a better experience then what we had at The Wailea Grand Champion Resort. The condo was well maintained and grounds/pool were beautiful. The condo was well stocked and decorated and the staff couldn't have been more courteous. We are already planning our return for next year!

Best sunsets we saw in all of HI were in Wailea. Great view from our porch. Check in service was exceptionally helpful and we were allowed an 8pm checkout to accommodate our red-eye flight. This was exceptionally helpful and allowed us a stress free full last day in HI. Nice surprise that they were this accommodating. Room itself was comfy - nothing […] spectacular but roomy and clean with a comfy bed and couches and good shower. We felt like it was a great value for the money. Mehr

The only 2 problems I had was the confirmation letter did not make clear that you go to an office in the shopping mall for registation and to pick up keys. I went to managers office on property first and was redirected the half mile back to the shopping center. The second problem was the phone in the master bedroom did not work on arrival. I reported […] it and it was replaced the following morning. Excellent response. Overall, lovely condo on lovely grounds. Do be aware you only get maid service every 3rd day. Also, there is no safe in the unit, so you may want to limit bringing jewelry, cash, computers, cameras. Mehr

As long as you understand that this complex is not right at the beach, then this is truly one of the best places to stay in Wailea. It is quiet and some of the best beaches to snorkel or sunbathe are a short drive away. Wailea has many first-rate restaurants and Kihei has much more affordable and funkier places to dine. Not nearly as crowded as Kaanapali […] or Lahaina. I would come back to Grand Champions the next opportunity I have to return to Maui. Mehr

Very well-maintained condo (often stay Wailea condos). Staff was great and the complex was very quiet and SPOTLESS. Our unit was nicely furnished and well-equipped.

今回泊まったのはゴルフ場と海方向に面した部屋で、ラナイ島に沈む夕日をラナイから眺める事ができ、敷地のすぐ側のモールにあるwailea wineは垂涎の品揃え、更に女性にはshops at waileaが控え、ゴルフ場も目の前と最高でした。多少、家電が旧型であったり、故障があったりもしましたが、それを上回る快適さと満足感があり、是非また泊まりたいコンドです。
