Ich war sehr zufrieden. Mein Zimmer war sehr gut ausgestattet mit einem großen, bequemen Doppelbett (gute Matratze - ich habe oft Rückenschmerzen nach Hotelaufenthalten, hier aber nicht), großem iMac Rechner, kostenlosem und schnellem! WiFi (für jede Etage eigene Zugänge bzw. Netzwerke mit hohen Empfangsstärken), kleiner Pantry-Küche und einem geräumigen, sauberen Bad (WC + Dusche). Bad und Schlafraum hatten Fenster, die Klimaanlage geht automatisch aus, wenn man die Fenster öffnet. Man kann die Klimaanlage gut regulieren, in der höchsten Stufe ist sie laut. Mein Zimmer war ruhig, weil es in eine Art Innenhof zeigte, der aber sehr klein und hässlich war. Aussicht gleich null und das Zimmer/Bad war auch etwas dunkel, trotz künstlichem Licht (schick aber unpraktisch). Einrichtung aber sehr modern und stylish. Jedes Zimmer hat eigene Rauchmelder, es gibt einen Feuerlöscher im Zimmer. Sehr freundlicher Service, der fließend Englisch sprach, Rezeption 24h besetzt. Kein Frühstück im Haus, aber bei Brown's Café, das 1 Minute zu Fuß entfernt ist und leckeres Frühstück bietet (Sanwiches, Muffins - amerikanischer Art). Metro-Station ist um die Ecke. Hotel liegt sehr ruhig in einer Seitenstraße. Kleiner Supermarkt zur Selbstverpflegung ist um die Ecke (3 Minuten zu Fuß). Insgesamt eine klare Empfehlung.

Ein schönes Hotel, sehr gut ausgestattet, mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Etwas außerhalb des eigentlichen Zentrums der Stadt gelegen, dennoch sehr gut zu erreichen.

Die nächste Metrostation ist 150m entfernt und man fährt knapp 10min in die Altstadt. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber. Besondere Extras darf man bei 2 Sternen nicht erwarten, z.b. hatte nur eines der beiden Zimmer einen Fön. Am Abreisetag konnten wir unser Gepäck bis zum Abend dort unterstellen. Check-in um Mitternacht hat auch problemlos funktioniert. Kann ich sehr empfehlen für Reisende, die eine saubere, zentrumsnahe & günstige Unterkunft ohne viel Schnickschnack suchen. Taxifahrt vom Flughafen zum Hotel hat mit Gepäck 15€ gekostet.
Lage
Olissippo Castelo befindet sich mitten in Lissabon in der Nähe von: Castelo de São Jorge, Rossio und Santa Justa Aufzug. Nicht weit entfernt befinden sich: Catedral Sé Patriarcal und Figueira Platz.

Really good time, hotel all we could hope for with "small garden" for our balcony.Chose to eat in small local type restaurants where we were always welcome and food delicious. TIPS.Wear sensible shoes as streets quite rough underfoot and slippery when wet. Be aware of people around you,we managed to save our camera from a middle aged femail pick pocket. Hotel was nice. Staff was well informed and very friendly. It is very hard to find for the first time. My taxi driver missed the street several times. Close to Alfama area. I had a nice stay and wood go back. Room was large by European standards.

Fabulous location high up near the castle. Comfortable, welcoming; excellent help from staff when our hire care broke down. Will definitely return.

This hotel was wonderful! We had A very clean room and a nice deck w an awesome view. My one recommendation would be to be careful walking back up the hill at night bc u will definitely get lost. If ur coming home late then take a cab. During the day time the main part of the city and metros are accessible from the hotel, just about a 10 to 15 min walk […] to it. The am breakfast was pretty good too. The staff is extremely helpful and most speak English. I wild definitely stay here again! Mehr

"Excellent Hotel Well worth the effort"
It was exactly as advertised......great hotel a little hard to find. But once there WOW. Staff was outstanding. Breakfast was delightful. On top of the Alfama District made it slightly out of the way. Remember the 12 and 28 Trolley lines. Get a deluxe room with a terrace it's worth it for the view. "Olissippo Castelo Hotel - nice place"
This hotel is in a hilly and historic section that is close to the S. Jorge castle and convenient to the historic tram lines (#12 & 28). The trams date to 1928 and are a must ride. I also walked down to the two city plazas, a nice walk for those who can walk up and down hills. My room had no view, which was okay because I booked a low cost room. It […] was large and clean and so was the bathroom. There is no rooftop terrace, but it doesn't matter because the view from the front door is nice. The above castle is only a few minute walk and the view from it is spectacular. Staff spoke English and were polite and attentive. They explained the directions to get to various historic sites at length, which was greartly appreciated. I would recommend this hotel to others and would stay there again myself. Lisbon was a nice city to visit. People were friendly and many could speak at least some English. Mehr

A comfortable hotel with great service and good breakfast. Very close to castelo de Jorge and the old city center. My wife thought the bed was a bit hard, but OK for me. We will definitely stay here next time.

This hotel was very nice: the room was spacious, comfortable, and clean; the view was spectacular! On top a hill near the castle and good restaurants. "Olissippo Castelo holiday"
Stayed for a week, room got upgraded from standard to suite - which was great. Hotel location is fantastic, close to nice restaurants and view from rooms down over the city is great. Buffet breakfast fills you up til coffee and cake time! Great staff, very helpful

This hotel is situated behind the castle in the old town in Lisbon. It is perfect for sightseeing and easy to take the trams down the hill, or walk to the rest of the city centre. Lots of good restaurants nearby too. Best to get a taxi from the airport for only about 10 Euros as it would not be advisable to walk up the steep, narrow streets trying to […] avoid the trams with a suitcase! "In the historic center"
Nice hotel right below the castel. Great view. Rooms are large and comfortable. Service and breakfast are ok. My only 2 recommendations were that the towels were old (clean but quit old). "Nice hotel"
It's a bit of struggle to get to the hotel as it is located in a narrow street on the top of a hill, but the view from the room was fantastic. conveniently located in a nice district full near the castle and the cathedral. We liked it very much. Breakfast was pleasant and reception was very friendly and helpful during our stay.

"Spectacular experience at the Olissippo Castelo"
The hotel is located in the Alfama area which has a true Lisbon spirit, great historical sights, a magnificent castle and location of the best Fado places in town. Access to the centre of the city is very easy and filled with spectacular views on the way. Hotel staff is extremely helpful and the conditions of the rooms were absolutely flawless. The desk failed to deliver the promised wake-up call. I could have missed my flight.
Nice rooms--good even by US standards. They gave us a complimentary upgrade to the nicer rooms. Only draw back was that it didn't have a view. Overall a good location, walking distance from everything or a cheap cab ride away. The beds were hard as one person noted, but we didn't mind too much.

this hotel can be tricky to find at first (we drove and would have never found it without a sat nav!), but its a beautiful hotel tucked away in the narrow streets of the hitop castle area of Lisbon! it was a very peaceful place to return to after a busy day of sightseeing. and although the neighborhood is very quiet, there are alot of little resturants […] and bars to go to withing walking distance. if you go somewhere a little further, cabs are very cheap and we didnt bother with subways at all! the hotel itself is very clean and the view from our room was outstanding! the staff is very friendly and helpful! the breakfast is very good! the rooms are very comfortable! this hotel made our stay in Lisbon amazing! "Hardest beds on the planet"
The hotel is situated next to the Castle St. George which is cool and the place was clean and staff friendly. However, the beds were the hardest I have ever felt and I like firm beds. Meget store værelser. Tæt på sporvogn 12 til centrum. Roligt beliggende. Taler godt engelsk i receptionen. Få gode råd af Joana i receptionen. Køb 24 timers kort til Metro, busser, sporvogn: 5 Euro. (En enkelt tur til city m sporvogn koster 2.85 Euro, så det er hurtigt tjent hjem. Flot udsigt fra værelserne. "Dejligt hotel med god betjening."
Personalet var alle høflige, venlige og meget hjælpsomme. Værelset var enormt hyggeligt og indbydende med kønt møblement. El-belysningen var fra et skandinavisk synspunkt både hyggeligt og praktisk. Udsigten fra juniorsuiten på fjerde sal var forrygende i det skiftende lys døgnet igennem. Panorama-vinduer fra gulv til loft i hele værelsets 7-8 m's bredde. God […] og fyldig morgenmad. "Perfect location in the old town"
Located on the highest point in the city with gorgeous views wherever you turn, and walking distance to Sao Jorge, Alfama, and that cathedral I keep forgetting the name of. Take a cab to or from the hotel with your suitcases, though. This is the old town so there is no metro nearby, and the streets are steep and cobbled.

Pelas fotos do hotel achei que fosse melhor , mais novo ... é um bom hotel , mas nada de excepicional... sua localização é boa e muito ruim tmb... ao mesmo tempo que está bem situado , para chegar nele a pé é muito ruim , pois fica no alto e é preciso subir muito ... na descida era mais fácil. très bel hotel avec bonne qualité de service. Pas de restaurant mais un room service simple et abordable. Proche de la ville , mais quartier moyen . Difficile à trouver en voiture (même avec GPS) Seulement 4 places de parking Petit déjeuner excellent.

"Hotel de charme à Lisbonne"
Hôtel offrant de très bonnes prestations : grand confort et propreté des chambres. Chambres et SDB spacieuses. Excellent service à la réception. Cet hôtel se situe dans le quartier le plus charmant de Lisbonne (en hauteur près du château). A recommander pour un séjour des plus agréables.
