Besonders ansprechend in diesem stilvollen Bed and Breakfast im viktorianischen waren die Dachterrasse mit traumhaftem Ausblick auf die Stadt, der romantische Garten, das individuelle Frühstück mit wunderbarem Obstangebot und die Lage in untouristischer Umgebung.

Love everything about this hotel - personal touch, Victorian style deco, friendly staff, convenient location, a tranquil court yard, panoramic patio and great breakfast. The only catch is that you may not want to leave the hotel to explore other sights since it’s so nice!

As others have said, it's on a busy street, really well placed for public transport, but has rooms away from traffic noise. It has 21 stairs per floor, but no lift, a fabulous rooftop terrace, a lovely back garden and spa area, a common parlour where we spent much time, including playing Scrabble and meeting other guests. The staff appear to have thought […] of most everything, including terrey robes in the rooms and towels out by the spa. Choclolates, sweets/lollies/candy are liberally available, some drinks for you to purchase on an honour system and tea & coffee 24/7. Parking is not easy but can be arranged. The staff were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and helpful - really unbeatable in that respect. Breakfast was as advertised, but some days you had to be inventive about where to sit and eat it. Some better organisation on the breakfast front would help it run smoother I think. The decor is entirely appropriate, but is getting a bit shabby in parts - blinds that no longer work, curtains that are faded and thinning, and incredibly, no window catches or locks. Having said that, the experience was friendly, homely, comfortable, clean and entirely pleasant. The neighbourhood scared us, but that's probably due to our own ignorance of the locals, not necessarily the locals themselves. Mehr

Everything about The Inn, from general ambiance to staff to services including a large jacuzzi and fantastic breakfast, are top notch. I was thoroughly impressed by the whole experience. A home away from home.

We stayed here becuase it listed as the nearest hotel with good ratings near an event we were attending. It was actually 5 miles away as oppose to the 1.3 miles listed. The Inn is a house converted into a hotel with three stories and NO elevator the first night there I messed up my foot, and our room was on the third floor (Fun times on those stairs) […] our room was super small granted it was only my wife and myself but still cramped. The Inn wasnt horrible but I don't think I'll be going back anytime soon. Mehr

Driving to the inn we did not think we would even stay there because of the neighborhood. Once inside we spoke with several guest and decided to stay. It was a great stay and we will be back.

I'm generally not a bed-and-breakfast fan. However, this place was very very nice. The owner, Marty, showed me all around the place. With great pride. My room was very interesting. The hotel was one of the few places that survived the great fire of San Francisco. Only one addition would've made my stay perfect. The pillows. It would've been nice to […] have Down pillows. We were so impressed with this hotel. It was an old 1800s mansion which had been converted to a very boutique hotel and we were blown away by not only how comfortable it was but also by the history and intrigue of the property. Loved: full-blown Victorian ambience, complete w/ fresh flowers, decanters of sherry/port, candlelight all-day; pumpkin pie on breakfast buffet (Thanksgiving weekend); sociable, interesting fellow guests/repeat visitors who shared many "don't miss" destinations/activities; NYT; courteous, helpful staff; innkeeper's doggie. Didn't score […] all 5's because feather bed incompatible w/ aging back and gritty-but-cool neighborhood is a slight trek to transportation. Why is this hotel only 2.5 stars? It is probably the most unique hotel I have ever stayed in. The main Drawing room of this Victorian beauty is sumptuously decorated as is the rest of the hotel. In this room you can relax with classical music, whilst reading some gorgeous books. This is also the same room where you will indulge in a generous breakfast […] and enjoy a late evening drink. Or you may choose to do this in the lush garden with the spa or on the roof garden. Each room is a visual delight and one feels that you have come home. Gorgeous SF property that has been immaculately restored. Bed in my room seemed to balloon in the centre and shower was tricky to get hot-cold balance right. Friendly staff, great ambience, lots of good magazines and newspapers, rooftop deck and view is wonderful. Corn quiche at breakfast was nice but coffee was so-so. Recommended.

ビクトリアン建築様式の美しさにこちらのＩｎｎ（ＢＢ）を選択、５泊しました。　１８７０年建築のテイストをそのまま残しつつも、良くメンテナンスされています。宿泊した２階・２１号室は道路側に面した（かなり交通量の多い通り）部屋だった為、夜眠れるかと当初心配していましが、ベッドマットレスの極上の眠り心地に心配は無用でした。部屋はとても広く、ビクトリアンテイストの好きな方にはたまらないと思います。室内には生花、キャンディー、ナイトチョコレートが常時補充されてます。一番の嬉しい驚きは、（日本からのフライトの為）時差による影響で深夜２時、４時に覚醒して困ったのですが、階下にある２部屋続きのパーラー（リビングフロアー）は２４時間素敵な照明が点灯しており、何時でも様々な飲み物が可能です。しかもそんな時間でもクラシカル音楽が流れていて感激でした^^♪　裏庭にあるHot […] bathも２４時間利用可能で、毎晩（深夜～朝方）利用しましたが、こんな時間帯でもお湯の温度は最適でした（４０度前後）。是非水着を持参することをお勧めします。ビュッフェ形式の朝食はここのハイライトです：ありとあらゆる程の新鮮で甘い果物と、ハム・チーズ、キッシュ、ゆで卵、選択に迷う程のパンの種類の多さ、食後のパイ、またオレンジジュースは今までに味わった事が無いほどの美味しさに驚きました。しかも朝食の提供時間が７時から１１時までと４時間もあり、他のホテルやＢＢでは絶対あり得ない事です。　オーナーやスタッフ達もビジネス的な対応ではなく、とても気さくでフレンドリー、必要な問いには全て答えてくれ、マスコット犬のGuppyも宿泊客のおもてなしを良く心得ていて外出から戻ると尾っぽを振りながら走り寄って膝に飛び乗り、写真に収めようとするとポージングも上手です（*^_^*）　第二の故郷的な感覚を覚えた、とても温かいＢＢでした。ＳＦにまた行くことがあれば絶対また利用します。 Mehr

Nous avons passé 4 nuits dans ce bed & breakfast. C'est très charmant, le style victorien est magnifique. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour. Le personnel était adorable, surtout Marty, qui nous a bien aidé. Le petit-déjeuner est un vrai délice, avec muffins, petits gateaux, tartes, charcuteries, et surtout beaucoup de choix en fruits frais.

Hotellet ligger sentralt i mission i en gammel viktoriansk villa. Alle møbler er antikviteter, og tross få stjerner byr dette hotellet på masse unikt; friske blomster på rommet, koselig stue med gratis kaffe, te, portvin, blader, aviser, frukt etc. Frokosten er veldig koselig i stuen med masse deilig oppskåren frukt, pai, bakevarer etc. Av de bedre […] frokostene jeg har opplevd i USA med hyggelige omgivelser. Deilig takterrasse med utsikt over hele byen og bakhage med boblebad. Det eneste jeg ville vært obs på at de billigste rommene er ganske små (f.eks. rom nr 20), og har en queensize seng som er litt på kanten til to voksne mennesker. Ellers kan jeg helgjertet anbefale dette hotellet med hyggelig service og sjel! Mehr
