We love this resort! The condos are set up perfectly, beds are very comfortable, best hot tub in Banff with a spectacular view!

Loved it. Great room with loft. Terrific location. Would recommend.

Far enough from town to feel an escape, but close enough to satisfy all needs. Extremely relaxing with no shortage of things to do. Our family had an excellent stay.

Everything was very good and we had a great time skiing and touring and shopping around town. The only knock I have (and it's minor) was that the in room coffee was very weak. However the coffee in the reception area was great. Thanks to everyone there for a great stay.

We had such a great time! The rooms were incredible. We had our two small dogs with us, and they were treated like royalty. Beautiful walks, and great hot tub. The scenery was breathtaking ! Will be back again, and again. L.L Ardrossan, ab

Our Hidden Ridge experience started out to be fine. The room was reasonably spacious, and there was an outdoor patio, visited regularly by deer. There were also nice hiking trails at the back of the hotel. We were on the lower floor, and our experience changed as soon as the guests upstairs arrived. They had small children, so there was lots of running […] and jumping, and the adults weren't much better. The place is not soundproof in the least. The hotel management were not helpful in regard to the noise problem, and the place was not very heavily booked. We needed to wear earplugs, and not only in bed at night. If you want a quiet, relaxing getaway, this is NOT the place! We won't stay there again - there are lots of other possibilities in Banff. Mehr

Nice lodge, comfortable. A bit out of town but they have a good bus service. Housekeeping was understaffed as they skipped one day on us! They came and change towels and refill the coffee supply that day. Great price-value.

We enjoyed our one night stay here, it's a wonderful cluster of cottage-like rooms and suites with high quality hotel services, good kitchens and real fireplaces. Staff were great. However, we were on the ground floor of a unit where someone else was above us and the place was not built with an eye to any sound proofing whatsoever. I am not a light […] sleeper and I was awakened every hour of the night, yes, including 3, 4 and 5 AM by thumping and bumping and smashing and klumping from the suite above us. (As well, the sofa bed was very uncomfortable, well below the low standards of the average sofa bed) I could hear laughter, and every use of plumbing from above throughout the night as well. So, if you have a choice be sure to request a room that is ABOVE the poor suckers underneath you. I was very very very tired the next morning, but I enjoyed the fireplace and the kitchen. Mehr

First time staying here and I must say we had a great time. Easy access to downtown with complimentary bus passes. Great views of the mountains from our suite. Loved having a kitchenette, which we put into good use. Wood burning fireplace was a plus because it kept us warm and cozy. Overall our stay was great and would love to come back.

Recently stayed at the hidden ridge, very happy with everything! Will stay there again, and will recommend! Wood fireplace inside was a nice touch, especially with the free firewood!

Fully recommend thos lodge. Staff ia friendly and very helpful. Kids loved the room and the beds were comfortable.

This resort was definitely a mixed bag, by that I mean they went over the top on some things and then other things were average. The room was not cleaned every day, we repeatedly mentioned we had two small dogs with us and they apparently had no idea and we had a complaint about our dogs whimpering all day while we were skiing. This all made perfect […] sense to us when we realized how paper thin the walls were. At 3:00 in the morning we were awaked by two people in the condo next door having a nighttime rendezvous that sounded like they were in our room it was that bad! So bad that the lady below us obviously heard too and screamed "shut up " so that was not a great experience and the complaint about our dogs made us feel like we had done something wrong and we did everything we could to be upfront about our dogs! The things that were really nice touches were the fact that once they knew we had dogs they brought over two dog beds and toys and on X-mas eve they hung cute stockings on everyone's door also the hot tub is amazing! We had an excellent time at the hotel when visiting there early December. The heated outdoor pools were a welcome way to relax and cozying up to a REAL wood fire was a luxury. Helpful, friendly staff. Beautiful views and quieter location. We were in one of the mail floor suites and had concerns about noise from rooms above us, however we were never […] bothered by it. We stayed in a 2 bedroom loft for an evening away in Banff and were not disappointed. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the clean loft boasted incredible mountain views from all windows.

We've stayed here a few times because we love it so much. The rooms are excellent, the woodburning fireplace is great to have, but the real treat is the hot tub overlooking the valley! The staff are always really helpful and friendly too. Will definitely keep coming back!

Staff is very friendly, helpful and efficient. Location is a bit out of town but most guests had cars. The young people enjoyed the out pool (s). Would recommend the unit with loft which sleeps 6 in 3 queen beds plus there is a hideabed.

first room was in leaked water and moved us to a better room and never charged more. I liked the room and would go back again.

Quiet, British staffed, wildlife - elk & deer on site, excellent wifi. Tv in bedroom as well as above fireplace. Underground heated parking. Good for families.

Pros: A cozy condo unit with comfy beds and pillows. Two pools, one a hot tub, the other a warm small pool. Great front desk staff. Lovely exterior and 3 minute drive into town. Loved the wood burning fireplace. Beds, bathroom and kitchen were clean. Cons: Carpets were very dirty and in need of replacing, same with chair upholstry. Gross! Staff exchanged […] chairs for cleaner ones upon request. We requested a renovated room but did not receive one. Mehr

Hidden Ridge Resort is a wonderful accommodation! Received a free upgrade upon check-in. Room was very spacious and had all amenities - full kitchen, 2 bathrooms, bedroom with 2 queen beds, loft with queen bed, living room with pull out couch and a fireplace. Underground and above ground parking. Definitely would recommend it! Views of Banff townsite […] are amazing from the large hot tubs! Great place to stay! Mehr

Our family had a memorable stay at your lovely resort hotel in Banff in late September. Upon checking, we upgraded our suite and we never regretted the extra price we paid for it. The suite amenities were just perfect. Front desk staff was extremely courteous and friendly, so eager to help and make the guests' stay very comfortable. The free shuttle […] service to Banff offered over extended hours of the day is very convenient. We enjoyed our hot tub soak after a long day out to relax in spectacular surroundings. Free DVDs, fire wood, free newspapers, hot beverage service in the lobby were also very welcome. Overall, it was a delight to stay at this resort. Mehr

We rented two units and found the kitchen comfortably stocked with utensils, pans, hot pads, etc. They even left us plastic cups daily. We used the nearby grills for the evening. The hot tub overlooking the city was a real hit. We all want to come back again. Parking was a little slim on Saturday evening when we returned from the city. Very pleasant place. Clean, very good staff, grounds are well maintained. Decent view. No air conditioning but there is a fan and windows can be opened. Fireplace is great and kitchen is properly equipped with utensils and pots in good condition. TV mounted ver fireplace is too high and is irritating to the neck when constantly looking up. Great stay. We were showing our beautiful country to relatives from Croatia. Jetted hot tubs were terrific after a day of touring Banff. Staff were very accomodating. Quiet at night. Will come again. Thanks.

This is the best Hotel/Resort we have ever stayed in for the following reasons - surroundings, scenery, service, helpfulness and friendliness of staff, the hot pools, and the general overall experience. I would recommend it to others - but not to too many, I don;t want it to be too crowded or expensive for when we can next afford a trip to Canada!

We had a great experience. The resort is lovely and very convenient - a short drive (2 minutes) to Banff town centre and there is a regular bus if you are without a car. The parking is a bit cramped - dinged my car's bumper on the edge of the flower bed trying to squeeze into a spot. Otherwise our stay was great - would definitely like to return. I would definitely recommend Hidden Ridge to anyone interested. We booked in for a one nights stay. When we arrived our reserved room was not ready. Hidden Ridge has a guarantee policy that your room will be ready by 4pm. We arrived at 4:30pm. We were then upgraded to a beautiful 3 bedroom condo with full kitchenette. There was definitely more space […] than what we required, however it did make for a much more comfortable stay. The amenities are wonderful, especially if there is a group. Group bbq and picnic areas which make it easy for socializing. I also like that fact that it is located outside of downtown Banff. Makes for a quieter stay. Bus service is available if you don't feel like taking the 5 minute drive into town. Overall, we completely enjoyed our stay and would certainly return. Mehr

Beautiful location and very friendly atmosphere from the staff and guest. Would definity recommend.

Would suggest assigned parking and resrtictions on the number of parking places per unit. Also more frequent survalliance of water pools. I had to talk to a staff re: beer bottles being consumed in the pool. Children presemt and and could easily have been cut if the bottle was broken. We foind the units very dark and on a rainy day would become a depressing […] atmosphere. The units themselves were well equipped and the beds were exceptionaly comfort. Loved that dog friendly equipment provided for our pouch, so did he! The grounds were really well cared for and a flowering hanging plants were fabulous. My husband and I loved the location. Out of the crowds and close to nature. Perfect for city slickers who need to catch their breath. Mehr

I booked the least expensive Banff location for 6 people and was blown away by the perfection of the place. It must be a timeshare resort. We were given a 3 bedroom 3 floor detached chalet, directly across from the hot tub and warm pool. The grounds are immaculate and everything in our chalet was brand new. it came with a full kitchen and living room […] and 4 t.v.s. I could hardly get the kids to leave! Mehr

Avoid during weekends as there are drunken teenagers everywhere including the hot tub.
