Courtyard by Marriott Santo Domingo Downtown - Santo Domingo

We stayed only one night here. We had a long drive from Las Terrenas and it was great to arrive in the air conditioned, clean and comfortable rooms. Check in was easy and fast, and it was wonderful that all of the staff spoke English (since my Spanish skills are sadly so pathetic). It was also wonderful to be a able to do a load of laundry (just bring […] your own soap) and also spend some time on the treadmill in the exercise room. The only thing that would have been better if it was in walking distance to the Colonial Zone - but that's minor, and we took a taxi (about 5-10 min drive) to be able to see the historical sites. There is also a lot of fast food places near by if you want to save a little money on food. Pool is small, but clean and nice I would definitely stay here again, and would recommend. thanks Marriott. I have stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott a coiple times before. Each visit has been a wonderful exprience. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The staff are very helpful and go out of there way to help in every way I rate it a 5 Star ******

Had a wonderful stay, this was the second time i stayed at the courtyard by marriott. Both stays were relaxing and the hotel is very customer friendly the staff go out of there way to be helpful. I would recommend to all my friends

The Marriott is a lovely hotel the staff were very helpful the location was downtown close to where we needed to be. The only thing would have been better if there was a larger selection at resturant ohtherwise a full 4 star hotel

The Courtyard hotel in Santo Domingo was in a good location for my needs. The staff was particularly helpful and pleasant to work with. I have two suggestions. First, we were there in November and the weather was beautiful, so we had the window open all the time. It would have helped had we had a screen on the window, since there were a few insects […] that flew in. Second, the water was usually just a little too cold for comfort, when taking a bath. super staff ,good food,ok location

This hotel was great but wish it was a more recognizable location and had some pamphlets or info of things to do nearby. You'll probably need a personal driver and car or just pay a lot to taxi drivers to take you everywhere. The hotel was clean with a nice pool area and a clean good working gym. Also had convenient laundry room if u need to wash any […] clothing for a long stay. Balcony was nice but definitely no view of anything aesthetic. This is a great hotel if u need to be downtown for something specific or if u know your way around to see the local or tourist spots. Mehr

Very nice hotel, with friendly and accommodating staff, good pillows and sheets. Breakfast was nice with choice of fruits and good coffee. I will definitely stay again in this hotel. Very close to American Embassy. I would give this hotel 4 stars.

I was so impressed with the staff and service at this hotel. The location is fantastic, not far to the boardwalk and airport, the American Embassy is close by as well as the Colonial Zone. The staff was superb. I had in room dining and the food was excellent. There had a few vegetarian options which I was grateful for. A tip to future travelers there, […] have the staff call Apollo Taxi to take you to the airport and save $20 on the ride. Room was clean and the internet service was perfect. Also, had free washroom for clothing and a dryer which was great for me after spending 7 days on the beach. I had no clean clothes. I will definitely stay there again. Really great hotel. Mehr

Near a great location, la Plaza de la Cultura where all the museums and theatres are! Had a wonderful time!!

Cerca del malecón, restaurantes y otros. Buen servicio y cómoda habitación.

Es un muy buen hotel... es limpio... ordenado, buy buena atención, buena comida... en general es un muy buen hotel... lo recomiendo 100%

El unico inconveniente es que se me quedo el cargador de mi celular de desaparecio. Alguien lo tomo y no lo guardaron para retornarmelo.

haciendo la reserva se presenta la posibilidad de indicar el número de personas que estarán involucradas en la reservación asi mismo el número de habitaciones a usar, pero no aparece en ningun lado la "LOGICA" que si son tres personas las que pernoctarán en el hotel y se esta pagando POR desayuno deberia incluir a la tercera persona en ello, sin embargo […] tuve que pagar aparte, pues elpersonal de recepción no tenia como hacer la inclusión de la tercera persona. RECLAMO!!! No hay necesidad de AGUAR(Exagerar con añadido de agua) los jugos de fruta del desayuno, la tarifa es lo suficientemente alta para costear un buen jugo, al fin no se trata de un hotelucho es un MARRIOT Mehr

Hotel muy ruidoso Aire acondicionado ruidoso Ventanas acristaladas no preparadas para el sitio de la ciudad y por lo tanto habitación con ruido 24 horas.

En terminos generales el hotel cumple con las espectativas, mi unica critica es que los desayunos me fueron cobrados por aparte.
