The first-floor window in my room did not latch, but when I pointed it out, the staff moved me to another room. Staff was so great, but unfortunately, a slight mildew odor in both rooms was disturbing enough so that I won't return.

The room was clean, the rate was affordable, and the location gave easy access to the interstate for travel into Chicago. The morning breakfast was basis, but good. Check in and check out process was easy and pleasant.

The staff was excellent and very helpful with everything and always a friendly greeting. Public areas were clean but could use a touch-up. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with desk king bed and a recliner. MY biggest problem was the slow Wi-Fi and the more important problem of the Wi-Fi network being unsecured with no pass word needed.. […] This is not realistic for a businessman or anyone who stays connected online. Shower grout and caulk were covered in mildew. Bathroom light unreliable: flicker, flash, maybe light, maybe not. The neighborhood is industrial/trucking. Not nice, not safe.

Even though the price for the hotel was inexpensive, the niceness of it was beyond my expectations. The bed was really confortable! Normally hotel beds are not comfortable to me and I don't sleep well. If it wasn't for the exit door to the stairwell being right next to our room and the sound of the door slamming throughout the night and early morning […] hours, I would have slept really well. Road noise from freeway was not too loud, despite a room facing the freeway side of the hotel. 3rd floor hallway smelled of cigarette smoke, though room was fine with no smell.

I felt sort of deceived, because I was told it was a non-smoking room, but the hallway was like a smokey bar. If I knew smoking was allowed at the hotel, we most certainly would not have stayed there. I'll keep this in mind next time I'm looking for hotels. I didn't much of the hotel's amenities, but everything was nice and easy. My night's stay went well, the concert I attended was awesome. The only problem I encountered was a pizza place didn't deliver this far west, which I can't blame them.

This LQ is such a pleasant surprise! It's a great price and meets all my travel needs. Free WiFi, free hot breakfast, clean rooms, great location, and very nice staff. I just love that the rooms come with make-up remover and nice soap.

There were no hold bars on bathtub.That is dangerous for anyone of any age. I was not asked if I needed a handicap room. The noise was unbelievable. I had various hairs and stains on my sheets upon arrival. I called for new sheets and I was told I could come get some at the front desk with no offer to bring them to the room. I went and got new sheets and remade the bed myself.

We were impressed with the service, the granite countertop, and marble floor upon entering the lobby! Not only was our room very nice and clean, but the breakfast selection was above and beyond what we anticipated. Excellent staff and very affordable pricing means we'll be looking to stay at other LaQuinta hotels across the nation.

THE STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND WELCOMING. ONLY THE BREAKFAST STAFF WAS SOMEWHAT RUDE. OTHERWISE, EVERYTHING WAS VERY GOOD. THE ROOM WAS CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE, RATES WERE REASONABLE, AND I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE!
