Ich war sehr zufrieden. Mein Zimmer war sehr gut ausgestattet mit einem großen, bequemen Doppelbett (gute Matratze - ich habe oft Rückenschmerzen nach Hotelaufenthalten, hier aber nicht), großem iMac Rechner, kostenlosem und schnellem! WiFi (für jede Etage eigene Zugänge bzw. Netzwerke mit hohen Empfangsstärken), kleiner Pantry-Küche und einem geräumigen, sauberen Bad (WC + Dusche). Bad und Schlafraum hatten Fenster, die Klimaanlage geht automatisch aus, wenn man die Fenster öffnet. Man kann die Klimaanlage gut regulieren, in der höchsten Stufe ist sie laut. Mein Zimmer war ruhig, weil es in eine Art Innenhof zeigte, der aber sehr klein und hässlich war. Aussicht gleich null und das Zimmer/Bad war auch etwas dunkel, trotz künstlichem Licht (schick aber unpraktisch). Einrichtung aber sehr modern und stylish. Jedes Zimmer hat eigene Rauchmelder, es gibt einen Feuerlöscher im Zimmer. Sehr freundlicher Service, der fließend Englisch sprach, Rezeption 24h besetzt. Kein Frühstück im Haus, aber bei Brown's Café, das 1 Minute zu Fuß entfernt ist und leckeres Frühstück bietet (Sanwiches, Muffins - amerikanischer Art). Metro-Station ist um die Ecke. Hotel liegt sehr ruhig in einer Seitenstraße. Kleiner Supermarkt zur Selbstverpflegung ist um die Ecke (3 Minuten zu Fuß). Insgesamt eine klare Empfehlung.

Ein schönes Hotel, sehr gut ausgestattet, mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Etwas außerhalb des eigentlichen Zentrums der Stadt gelegen, dennoch sehr gut zu erreichen.
Lage
Hotel VIP Executive Suites Eden befindet sich mitten in Lissabon in der Nähe von: Restauradores Platz, Rossio und Santa Justa Aufzug. Nicht weit entfernt befinden sich: Castelo de São Jorge und Catedral Sé Patriarcal.
Ausstattung
Dieses Hotel verfügt über Folgendes: Poolbar. Ein W-LAN Internetzugang steht gegen eine Gebühr in den öffentlichen Bereichen zur Verfügung. Außerdem steht Folgendes zur Verfügung: Außenpool, Dachterrasse und mehrsprachiges Personal. Es gibt ausgewiesene Raucherbereiche.

sehr zentral.hatte zimmer310,fenster mit blick auf einen ca 3 meter breiten schacht,also kein tageslicht, dafür aber ab 8 uhr morgens höllenlärm wegen dort laufender turbinen.es war eine absolute zumutung. nie wieder in dieses hotel.

"Sehr zentrale Lage des Hotels"
Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr zentral. Es besteht direkte Anbindung an die Metro, sowie den Airport Shuttle. Dazu hält der Sight-Seeing-Bus und zig andere Busse direkt vor der Tür. Cafes und Restaurants sind in wenigen Gehminuten, ein Supermarkt in ca. 200m erreichbar. Das Hotel selbst kam uns etwas ronvierungsbedürftig vor. Unser Teppichboden sah auch […] aus, als könnte er mal eine Komplettreinigung vertragen und die Zimmerwand hätte sich über einen neuen Anstrich sicherlich auch nicht beklagt. Ansonsten aber im Großen und Ganzen ein akzeptables Hotel in einer super Lage (und dennoch war unser Zimmer ruhig!) mit einem Pool auf dem Dach (nur wenige Liegen, gemessen an der Zimmerzahl!) und sehr guter Verkehrsanbingung (es hält praktisch alles vor der Nase). Frühstücksbuffet lohnt sich nach m.M. auf Grund des Preises nicht, außerdem gibt's genügend leckere Cafebars in der Umgebung. Achtung, check-in erst ab 15.00, Koffer und Taschen können aber bis zum Einchecken in einem separaten Raum abgestellt werden. Kein öffentliches Internet! Wlangebühren sind ziemlich gesalzen. Kann man sicherlich weiterempfehlen. Ideal für Selbstversorger. Mehr

"Möchte sofort wieder hin"
Sehr gut!
Das Hotel VIP Eden liegt zentral und man erreicht schnell viele der Sehenswürdigkeiten. Das Studio war sauber und gemütlich. Und der Ausblick von der Dachterasse mit Swimmingpool ist fantastisch. Nur leider kannte sich das Personal nicht mit den Bussen aus und konnte uns nicht sagen, wie wir zur Statue Cristo Rei kamen, sie verwiesen uns auf das in […] der Nähe gelegene Tourismusbüro. Trotzdem war der Aufenthalt super und wir würden wenn wir das nächste Mal in Lissabon sind wieder in diesem Hotel unterkommen wollen. Mehr

"Hotel Eden ist baulich hochinterressant"
Das Hotel könnte noch besser sein wenn die phantastische Dachterrasse kulinarisch genutzt werden könnte und Reparaturen in den Apartments wie Loch in der Jalousie und heruntergerissene tapeten durchgeführt werden.Ansonsten vom Ambiente und Lage grossartig
Positiv anzumerken ist die Lage des Hotels. Das Hotel liegt sehr Zentral und sind die wichtgsten Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Fassade des Hotels ist sehr Impossant, jedoch ist die Innenausstattung schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen und ist meines erachtens die Bewertung mit 4 Sternen bei weitem überzogen. Das Betreten des Zimmers ist mit […] einer Schlüsselkarte möglich. Nach Anfrage, ob eine Zweite Karte ausgestellt werden könne, dass beide Zimmerbewohner unabhängig voneinander das Zimmer betreten können, war Anfangs nicht möglich. Begründet wurde dies damit, dass zu wenig Karten verfügbar seien. Dies ist ungefähr so, als würde eine Wechselstube nicht in der Lage sein Geld zu wechseln. Das Zimmer hat sich im 8. Stock befunden. Von 2 Aufzügen war lediglich einer in Betrieb und war in 3 Tagen nicht zu bemerken, dass Interesse an der Instandsetzung des (vermutlich) defekten Aufzuges besteht. Die wartezeiten waren entsprechend hoch. Ich werde Lissabon sicher wieder bereisen, jedoch die Unterkunft in einem anderen Hotel in Anspruch nehmen. Mehr

"Hervorragendes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis"
Die Altstadt ist in nur wenige Gehminuten erreichbar, Zimmer gut eingerichtet, grosszügig mit viel Platz. Nur auf Aussicht muss man verzichten, da dieser Mauerbogen vor dem Hotel ist. Ansonsten sehr zu empfehlen. Schöne Dachterrasse mit wunderbarem Blick auf Castel S. Jorge, besonders abends (Bar).

Ein gut gepflegtes Hotel, das in BESTER Lage über eine Dachterrasse mit Pool verfügt! Super Ausblick! Ich kann dieses Hotel wärmstens weiterempfehlen!
"Location, Location, Location..."
The VIP Exec Suites Eden is absolutely in the best location you can find. In the heart of Lisbon. Close to restaurants, metro and the waterfront. No need for pricey cabs. You can walk to everything or metro if a little further. Hotel service was a little lame. The room has a safe. We had a kitchenette which was good. The washroom has an American shower […] which was a luxury (none of this half glass vs. a full shower curtain). The sofa bed was more comfy than the roll out bed and the master bed. "Not 4 star in my book!!"
Good location,very central in down town. The hotel states that its four star. I would say its closer to two stars. The rooms have a very low standard and does not feel clean. The receptionist would not assist my wife with her bag even thou she was pregnant and carrying a other baby. There is no parking at the hotel, even not to off load luggage. We […] were stand at a very busy bus stop. To park the car you had to park half way in a subwaystation and pay 40 euros for 24h. Mehr

Have not seen worse since interail 1975. not to be recomended. The 4 stars are a hoaxe.
"VIP Executive Eden - central but faded"
Central location useful for most major sights, located right beside bus stop to/from airport. The kitchenette was handy for brewing a cup of coffee and having breakfast, but little else due to a lack of basic utensils. Even coffee cups were in short supply. This falls into the category of hotels in which I really could not sleep, with uncomfortable […] beds and street noise. While clean, the whole place had seen better days and really had not been refurbished since the 1980s and was very tired looking. Staff were ok and borderline welcoming. The rooftop swimming pool is a major draw and the views great. But I definitely would not use the VIP Executive Eden again or recommend it to anybody. Mehr
"Not a 4 star hotel"
I stayed 4 nights at the VIP Eden hotel. While the building is a great ode to Deco architecture the interior is a shameful rendition of 90's low budget design. Mind you for the price who would complain however such a landmark is worthy of facelift. Internet service (paid) is marginal at best and no one seems to care. The staff at the front desk barely […] lifts a head when you enter and does not seem to recognize you as a guest even after 4 days. This is expensive real estate, location could not be better fo why is the hotel so tired? For a bit more you can stay in a very nice accomodation just steps away. Mehr
"No hot water for you."
Hotel is more like a 2.5 *. usually for european hotels you subtract one start to get the actual rating but for this hotel you need to subtract 1.5 *. The only thing going for it is that it has good location close to center of city. One of the problems I had is that the shower didn't have hot water in the morning. I had to wait till 1 pm to be able […] to get hot water in the room. The last day i was checking out at 8 am and had to skip the shower because the water was sooo cold ! Would recommend this hotel for its convenience to all the must see sights in Lisbon.The Aerobus brings you to the door of the hotel from the airport.The hop on hop off sightseeing buses stop also outside the door of the hotel. The staff were very helpful and rooms were clean and comfortable.

Fantastic location in the center of Lisbo, walking distance to the water, the castle, old town; airport transfer bus stop across the street. Hotel staff is courteous and helpful. The rooms are a bit run down but perhaps deserve the 4-start rating. LCD TV set in the room - nice.

"terrible service"
Guests-beware, 4 stars it claims to have should be no more than 2, and for the money they charge they do not provide the simplest service like air conditioning. Stuff is not helpful and irresponsible. Upon arriving (hot and humid day) realized a/c is not working. Called front desk and clerk promised to send maintenance tech immediately. Have spent about […] 40 min. in room - nobody showed up. Called again and was assured the tech is aware of the problem. Left room and went out for couple of hours. On return - a/c is not working still. Called front desk again and was told it is too late to get in touch with maintenance. On my Q. why nobody came before couldn't get an answer, tried to get another room and answer was that hotel is fully booked and nothing could be done. What make things worse, window was leading to busy street, and it got extremely noisy (Saturday night). We slept no more than 2 hours that night. On top of it, bathroom door was unable to close, toilet loose and shaking on the floor. I have never complained before, while being frequent traveler and have seen a lot of different places and accommodations. But this one really upsets me so I decided to share my experience. Mehr
"Great Location..."
Wonderful location. Lots of the areas in Lisbon not too friendly looking, no worries here. We walked around every night, nice and peaceful. Starbucks is a 2 minute or less walk which we enjoyed. Staff was helpful with area information.

"Great location & lovely pool"
This is a great hotel for the price. The location is superb, just off Rossio Square and a very short walk to the Bairro Alto area where most of the good bars & restaurants are. The walk to Bairro Alto is up a very steep hill but there's a cable car also available. The hotel itself has a fab rooftop swimming pool & sun loungers, with views of the entire […] city. There's a bar up there too but we often found that it was closed for long periods during its "opening" hours. The rooms were quite basic for a 4 star hotel but they were still comfortable & had a convenient kitchenette. The air conditioning in our room could be left on all day if desired so the room was always at the right temperature. My only minor grievance is that they gave us a twin room with the 2 beds pushed together rather than the double room that we'd booked and were very unapologetic about this when i asked if we could move, simply saying that all double rooms were full. Overall really happy with this hotel for the price & will definitely return if I visit Lisbon during the summer again. Mehr
"Fantastic but..."
The hotel could not be better located.5 mn walk from the old part of the city, where the action takes place. From the outside it looks quite nice and from the swimming pool on the top of the building the view is breathtaking.The drinks on the Bar terrace are a bit expensive though. Actually I 've got only one complain and it has to do with the cleanliness […] of the hotel: how come that there were so many cockroaches? The carpets of the room are pretty worn out and we were bothered at night by cockroaches jumping on the bed.Really scary.What a pity in such a nice hotel. We did not want to make a fuss out of it and when we mention this point at the reception when we left the hotel, they did not want to let us pay for the drinks. A nice gesture, but as you can imagine, this kind of experience cannot leave you with a good opinion of this place. Mehr

The room was very clean and quiet - great location, close to subway/metro. Our room contained a complete kitchen. The desk staff were very helpful. The hotel has a swimming pool on the top floor as well as a bar.

We were a little skittish after reading some reviews of this hotel. Location was perfect, pool was clean and fun, room was clean and comfortable and the staff could not have been nicer. A great family hotel, fantastic location central to everything. The apartment is clean and great for everyday living. Yes the main bed is uncomfortable but by the second night we got used to it. I would book again.

Excellent location, friendly, professional staff, clean room with kitchenette. Only negative comment was the room temperature. Air conditioning was not yet turned on in March so it was warm. Good air flow but not able to regulate to a cooler temperature. That would not be a deal braker, I would stay there again. Stayed here for a stag do where we had three apartment rooms. We got a really good rate with the rooms for both nights and in terms of value for money it was excellent. We arrived a bit early and check-in wasn't until 3PM but the hotel offered a luggage store and given the location, we were able to explore the local area very easily. The location of […] the hotel is brilliant, its walking distance from everything going on in Lisbon - Barrio Alto is a 10 min walk up the hill where all the night life is. And you're on the doorstep of the main squares. The staff when we checked in were very stressed out and quite rude. We had to wait for nearly 2 hours before on of the rooms were available and very little in terms of an apology was offered! Only downside of the trip The rooms themselves are basic, but offer everything you need. The kitchen was decent enough and had all the kit required etc. I would def recommend this hotel if you're looking for a cheaper stay and not bothered about the quality aspect too much. The location is perfect and def the plus point. Only downside were the staff who were unhelpful at times. Mehr

we were upgraded to an appartment for 4 people. The hotel is very well located. The view from the roof terrace is gorgious. I would defnitely recomment it.

The hotel is very close to all areas I was interested in and conveniently located for airport shuttle - right across the street. Rooftop pool area provided a great view of the area and if I am fortunate enough to return to Lisbon, I would definitely stay here again.

Overall, it was a good place. I stayed there at the beginning and end of my trip. The one negative was that on the second day, the young man working the desk was a poor representation of the hotel. He looked like he just rolled out of bed, and didn't seem to know what he was doing. Fortunately, a coworker came in and was able to set things straight. […] She was very professional and was able to answer all of our questions. Just hope you don't have the young man helping you, and you'll enjoy your stay. Mehr

This was in a fantastic location right beside the bus stop from the airport. The staff were very helpful with directions and suggestions. I would recommend this hotel to other travellers. I would come back to this hotel if I visited Lisbon again. Great room, great facilities. I am a very happy customer.

This hotel is a must for anyone staying in Lisboa! You can't ask for a better location, which is in close proximity to buses and trains to go everywhere. It was only a 15 minute bus ride from the airport as well. I hated the fact that some of the staff (I don't mean cleaners, etc; I'm talking about reception) did not have a firmer grasp of basic English […] words. Working in a hotel in a largely tourist destination means that one should be above a basic level in the world's universal language. Overall though, this hotel was well worth the money for 5 nights.
