Wir haben zu zweit hier übernachtet. Sehr günstig für 3 Nächte über Ostern. Für ein 2-Sterne-Hotel echt TOP ... mindestens so gut, wie die meisten 3-Sterne-Hotels! Das einzige, was gestört hat, waren die unfreundlichen Reinigungskräfte - trotz "Do not disturb"-Schild sind sie einfach reingekommen, und waren sehr, sehr unfreundlich, weil wir noch nicht aus dem Zimmer waren. Die Metro ist ein paar Minuten entfernt. Wir sind anfangs mit dem Auto nach Paris reingefahren... ist aber nicht zu empfehlen - die Metro (Tagesticket lohnt sich!) fährt sehr regelmäßig und überall hin und man hat keinen Stress mit der Parkplatzsuche. Einen Supermarkt hatten wir nicht gefunden... aber der McDonalds war auch nicht weit ;-)

"Hotel ist mit Bus gut an den Placa d`Italy angebun"

Um Sehenswürdigkeiten zu erreichen muß man ersmals mit der Metro ca. 20 Min. unterwegs sein. Das Hotel liegt etwas außerhalb des Zentrum. Ansonstens war alles super.

Ohne Charme -genügt maximal den geringsten Anforderungen . Sauberkeit läßt zu wüschen übrig werde ich nie wieder buchen !!!
"Novotel Porte d'Italy Paris-nicht empfehlenswert!"
Als wir in unser Zimmer kamen, roch es stark nach Rauch, obwohl das Hotel als Nichtraucherhotel angepriesen wurde. Wir haben daraufhin ein neues Zimmer bekommen und man sagte uns, dass die Menschen das Verbot teilweise nicht ernstnehmen würden, aber sie taten auch nichts dagegen. Weiter ging es damit, dass im Badezimmer die Lampe ein richtiges Loch […] hatte, was sehr gefährlich hätte werden können, weil die Lampe direkt neben dem Wasserhahn war. Es gab viel zu wenig Handtücher und als wir uns beschwerten, wurde statt mehreren neuen einfach nur ein neues Handtuch gebracht. Trotz doppelter Verglasung der Fenster konnte man deutlich den Lärm der 12 Spurigen Autobahn hören, was bei dem Verkehr auch gar nicht verwunderlich ist. Die Lage des Hotels ist meiner Meinung nach indiskutabel. Das einzige was wirklich in Ordnung war, war die Sauberkeit-- wer also mit ein bisschen Bruch im Zimmer leben kann und dem die Sauberkeit sehr wichtig ist, der wird es dort aushalten können. Mehr

"Lage des Hotels"
Das Hotel liegt zwar in einem nicht besonders ansprechenden Stadtteil, die Metrostation Porte d´Italie ist aber in 5 Minuten zu Fuss zu erreichen. Aufgrund des günstigen Arrangements stimmte das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis voll und ganz.

Kein warmes Wasser am ersten Morgen, jedoch freies Parken als Entschädigung (€ 45). Gute Lage und Erreichbarkeit per Auto. Zwei Betten erwünscht aber nicht Verfügbar.

"Verkehrsgünstige Lage, familienfreundlich"
sehr familienfreundliches Hotel, die Zimmer mit Doppelbett und Couch zum Ausklappen sind für eine vierköpfige Famile zwar eng aber völlig ok. In der Hauptsaison gelangt das Frühstücksbuffet an die Grenzen seiner Leistungsfähigkeit, das Personal ist aber flink und ständig bemüht, für Nachschub zu sorgen und für seine ausgesprochene Freundlichkeit trotz […] Vollstress zu bewundern! Wir sind als Familie mit 2 Kindern, 3 und 6 Jahren in das Novotel Porte d´Italie gereist und waren sehr zufrieden. Auch die kinder wurden direkt freundlich empfangen. Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Peripherique, ist mit dem Auto daher gut erreichbar, das Hotel verfügt über eine Tiefgarage, so dass man das Auto guten Gewissens stehen lassen kann und mit […] der Metro Linie 4 oder dem Bus 47 in die Innenstadt fahren kann. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit einem Doppelbett und einem Ausziehsofa. Damit war das Zimmer dann voll, nur noch schmale Durchgänge, aber ausreichend. Das Zimmer lag nach hinten heraus und war sehr warm, aber der Service des Hotels war sehr gut, man konnte sich das Fenster öffnen lassen und später wieder abschließen lassen. Aus Sicherheitsgründen sind die Fenster nicht selbst zu öffnen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war gut und es gab frisches Obst. "Gute Lage"
Das Hotel liegt gut erreichbar in der Nähe der A4. In 5 Minuten erreicht man zu Fuss die Metro. In 20 Minuten ist man am Eiffelturm! Der Service war gut, die Zimmer sehr sauber. Das Beistellbett war für eines unserer Kinder jedoch leider deutlich zu hart (Federkernmatratze). Trotzdem sehr zu empfehlen!

"Hotel Novotel Paris Porte d'Italie"
Das Hotel Novotel Paris Porte d'Italie liegt nicht in der Nähe der Sehenswürdigkeiten. Der Preis war sehr fair. Personal sehr freundlich. Frühstück dürftig, wenn man nicht genug früh am Buffet war, dann war das meiste weg. Die Zimmer waren nicht sehr sauber. Staubsaugen wäre wieder mal nötig gewesen. Minibar war dreckig ( essensreste ).
Sehr freundliche Reception. Das Küchenpersonal war auch sehr nett und haben den Umständen "(Viele Gäste)" sicherlich ihr bestes gegeben. Frühaufsteher haben beim Frühstücksbuffet keine Sitzplatzwartezeiten. Die Zimmer waren sauber und zweckmässig. Würden mit Kinder wieder dieses Hotel wählen.

"Gute Lage"
Direkt bei der Ausfahrt "Porte d'Italie" der Umfahrungsstrasse rund um Paris befindet sich dieses Hotel. Es bietet einen sehr guten Standard und Ruhe. Im Untergeschoss steht eine Garage zur Verfügung, ideal für alle, die per Auto nach Paris reisen.

Ideal location when traveling north towards Paris on A6. Cheerful and very helpful staff happy to give advise on direction and metro stops for the sights of Paris. Rooms clean with all mod cons of safe, hair dryer, tea and coffee facilities. Good size for family of 4 ( 2 &. 2), bath and seperate shower. Buffet Breakfast - a mixture of cooked and continental […] options... Enjoyed by adults and children alike. Hotel easy to find, 5 mins walk from the metro station and approx 15 mins to the Eiffle tower metro stop. Nice local restaurants serving a variety of options on the menu and quite reasonably priced. "off the expressway"
The upside is that the hotel itself was very nice, clean, helpful staff, decent restaurant. The drawback was it's location. The nearest useful metro station is Maison Blanche which is quite a walk. If the weather was bad or we were coming back to the hotel after dark we ended up getting a taxi. So what we saved on the price of the hotel we spent on […] taxis. "Enjoyable Stay at Novotel Paris Porte d'Italie"
Room was an adequate size for a family (2 Adults and 2 Kids). 10mins walk from the Metro and into the heart of Paris within 15mins. Hotel was clean. Breakfast was fine. We had dinner one evening and was reasonably priced. Overall we enjoed our stay.

I really enjoyed my stay at Novotel Paris Porte D Italie. The hotel services were excellent and staff was very helpful.Breakfast buffet is included and was very good. Metro was about 10minute walk and easy access to central paris. OK for the price.

Hotel and room were nice, but very HOT!!!! No AC and windows could not be opened. Breakfast was excellent and the hotel was close to the train station.
"Good breakfast & room but far from Paris centre"
Depending what's your reason for going, this hotel is a bit out of the way from Paris and the metro is a ten minute walk which could not be less associated with romantic walks Paris is associated for. However if you're there on your own, the hotel does the job well with a nice room and good breakfast.

Great hotel for families - we had a child and a baby and the room was really clean and spacious. Hotel staff were excellent - very helpful and friendly. The hotel is a little way out from the centre but the Metro is very close and its on really useful metro line. The website states that Kremlin-Bicetre is the closest metro but actually Porte d'Italie […] is closer. Mehr

Although staff were pleasant the hotel was shabby and certainly not 4 star. The eating area needed a good vacumn and the dishes they served on at breakfast did not seem very clean. "Nice hotel close to Paris "chinatown""
The room was standard/average (nothing to write home about). There is cofee/tea making facilities in the room but one day they forgot the coffee, another day the coffee cream, which is a bit annoying. Free internet and there is a safe deposit box in the room, which is nice. Location is 15 min walk to chinatown where all the asian restaurants and shops […] are, but a bit far to the city center. Anywhere you go (Eiffel, Louvre, etc), allow at least 45min-1 hr incl. the 10 min walk to the closest tram/metro station. 1hr 30 min to the airport by RER. Our return flight was in the late afternoon. I was looking for a locker at Gare du Nord because I did not want to waste 1-2 hrs going back to the hotel, get our luggages and go to the Airport (through the city). But I was told the lockers were closed due to security reasons. So I and my 9yr old daughter wandered around in the city dragging our bags around. Next time, I'd rather find a hotel in the northern part of the city or right at the city center. Mehr

The hotel was lovely and the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel is a bit of a distance from the city, we had a bit of trouble with the metro and the street is not that friendly looking. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Room is clean above average, comfortable beds, reasonably new carpet and fittings. Breakfast is all you can eat with many choices. Located quite far from central paris but still quite convenient to travel with public transport. Metro and tram is about 10-15min walk from hotel. Usually needs changing when travelling […] with metro and tram, depends on your destination. "fine if you don't sweat the small stuff"
hotel was fine.... not the friendliest staff but not rude either... separate toilet and bathroom arrangement meaning you had to switch rooms to wash your hands..... would drive you nuts if your not with family. area fine for shops etc but a little dodgy... a lot of pill boxes and smashed glass on the roads.... i wouldn't have felt safe on my own. easy […] to get to by metro. all in all is was fine for us but wouldn't be for everyone Mehr
Room was very nice for three people. Very large and clean. Breakfast buffet is included and was very good. Dinner was terrific. Reasonably close to the airport as well as to the town. Would strongly recommend.

The rooms need better maintenance and the directions from the tube station need to be amended. When we follow the direction of the one way we go in the opposite direction. This needs to be made clear that we need to go opposite to the direction of the one way.
"Great hotel (if you don't mind the metro)"
Novotel was great, the hotel is in excellent condition and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The only problem is that the location is not within walking distance of a lot of the main attractions in Paris. The Porte D'Italie Metro station is only a 5-10 minute walk away though, if you don't mind riding the […] Metro then you can get everywhere you want to be within 30-45 min. (Walking and ride time included). There are however numerous restaurants and bakeries within walking distance of the hotel for a quick and convenient breakfast or dinner. Location was the only thing that prevented Novotel from getting a 5, everything else was great. Mehr
"Unfortunate"
First of all getting to the hotel from charles de gaulle is a bit of a trek with the hotel right at the south of paris, overlooking the boulevard prelifique which has constant traffic. When we got there to check in at 12, we were told because we wanted a non smoking room we would have to wait until one was cleaned. so we waited for about half hour and […] one was ready. After getting into the room a few things we noticed, a rubbish bag under the bed, a horrible smell and a ripped duvet cover. we had to call for the maid to bring some fabreese as the smell was disgusting. other than that it was nice. The surrounding are is not great one nice pizza restaaurant, the rest are horrible and in a dodgy area. Mehr
"Nice but not near the city"
This hotel was nice, but is 10-15 minutes from the metro and it's actually just outside of Paris. It took us 45 minutes from leaving our room to go to the metro and then to the Eiffel Tower. The amenities are nice, but it's just not a good location for people who have limited time when sightseeing. It was only 24 Euros for a taxi ride from the Nord […] train station. Mehr

This is a pretty standard business/short stay hotel. Some staff much more helpful than others. room comfortable and clean with excellent wi fi provided foc. not many decent restaurants in walking distance. Metro was about ten minute walk and easy access to central paris. "Clean, inexpensive and close to transport"
Lets be clear, this isn't a romantic jewel of a hotel in one of paris' best locations - if you want that look elsewhere and pay far more - what it is is a decent well priced hotel close to the metro. We found it very cost effective for a family of four as the spacious room had both a double and a foldout double bed. Room was clean and new, air conditioned, […] and had a surprisingly nice bath and separate shower. Free wifi and a minibar were also nice to find. Breakfast was reasonable with kids free, and set you up for the day nicely. You are then a short walk from porte d'italie metro and from there all that paris offers. Mehr
"No bottle opener.."
We stayed in this hotel on a Thursday night, hotel was clean and furnished ok, but room was small. 3 of us had prebooked into the room, but they only gave us 2 towels, and 2 (paper) cups. we had to ring reception twice to get another cup and towel. we looked for a bottle opener at 12am - as the bar was closed, but they had none!! we had to go to 3 other […] hotels to get a bottle opener - so bring your own if you want a drink! Also - there were homeless people living under the bridge outside the hotel - which made us feel uncomfortable walking to and from the hotel at night. Mehr

I really enjoyed my stay at Novotel Paris Porte D Italie. The hotel services were excellent and staff was very helpful. I just have one complain that they just have two English TV channels. :)

This hotel was suitable for us, after a little venturing we were able to find a shopping centre and china town is just down the road a short 5-6 minute walk. Metro is also quite close by, we were going to De Choissy (approx 8 minute walk) as it was closer than De Italie this hotel is also very close to Orly Airport it cost in peak traffic 25 Euros. […] No major problems with the hotel apart from the fact that in 4 nights woke up one morning to no hot water which wasn't rectified till 11.30am (so we had to wait to go out) and their was no apology or form of compensation (i.e. like a small voucher for the restaurant or something for the inconvienience). Also for the Novotel and the price I would have liked to have at least one English channel other than BBC News (I would assume that not just French people visit Paris!!). My biggest complaint would be when I asked for a metered taxi to the airport (CDG) I instead had a airport transfer van arrive were the cost was 70 Euros (for a 35 min trip!!). I asked the hotel for a metered taxi but I also asked about cost (approx) and was never told yet their was a set price. Believe a cut of my fair went to the hotel which is out of order! Mehr

I would stay here only if the price is very attractive compared to other options. Location is ok - about 7-10 minutes walk from Porto De Italie metro station - but the condition of the pathways from station to hotel is not that good. with heavy traffic, you need to be careful. From Porto De Italie, you can reach Louvre station in about 20 odd minutes. we […] experienced issues with water heating - one day there was not heated water at all. After enquiry we were told that there is technical issue, but there was no estimated time to fix the issue. And the response was rude. Would expect more polite handling of the query, if guests are facing issues due to no fault of theirs. room size is ok. neighborhood is not good - though i won't term is as very bad. Overwhelmed by the choices, I chose this hotel since it was close to a close train station. EXTREMELY comfortable hotel! Very Clean!
