Comfort Inn Hotel & Suites Lookout Mountain - Chattanooga

Staff acted as though we were burdening them by staying there. Comforter had cigarette burns in it, breakfast was poor quality, compared to cheaper hotels in the area. Stay somewhere else.

Great value. Nice hotel. Breakfast was not served early enough for us to enjoy.

Newer hotel in good condition. Breakfast was good and the kids liked the indoor pool.

The lady at the front desk when we checked in late afternoon was very friendly.The breakfast in the hotel is ok - it saves time & money.Where we were it was close to all things to do in Chattanooga.The rooms are very good & clean.The room was cold when we entered in January but after we turned up the heat it was just fine.The front desk has no local […] paper to inform you of what's up w/Chattanooga,youhave to buy a local paper at the Shell station next door for that.We had two queen size beds w/37in.LG tv that was working great.The only thing I didn't care for was the pillows..way too soft.There was some noise that could be heard from traffic & trains but it's all good.They have an indoor pool for swimming but did not use this time on this trip.Our room also had a refrigerator & microwave oven for convenience.If we go to Chattanooga again,I will strongly consider this place to stay again because of it's location & hospitality. I booked on line and had never been in the area, wanted to be close to the Aquarium, and Ruby falls. Took my grandchildren and wanted a pool and the jacuzzi for myself. It all was very good, clean, close to everything.

staff at front desk was friendly, room was clean and comfortable. elevator moves when it shouldn't or doesn't wanna move at all. morning breakfast was no where near what was advertised to be. breakfast attendant disappeared in the middle of serving which left us and everyone else to forage for food for ourselves. very unprofessional and with attitude […] upon her return. bad way to have to start your morning. will only recommend this place to a friend or family for the comfort of the rooms but i will warn them to skip eating breakfast there and to go eat else where. for the price I paid, i expected more for my money , especially with the breakfast. running out of food before half the guest had eaten is unacceptable. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a good variety. I didn't use the pool or sauna so I can't comment on that. The hotel is in a good location and right off the highway. Staff was helpful and room was ready upon arrival. No issues with my stay.

We planned a weekend get away for New Year's weekend and were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The staff was very courteous and offered quality service. The rooms were clean and comfy and perfect for our 2 boys ages 5 and 2. Breakfast was better than your typical continental breakfast and the waffles were a plus. The hotel was very easy to access […] and only about a 5 minute drive from the downtown attractions. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay again. Mehr

Breakfast no good - just fair - Pull out sofa very old and not comfortable - nice people - good location - priced to high for the quality.

The only thing that was wrong with this stay is the jacuzzi water was cold. Everything else was excellent.

The rooms were not clean and they smelled terribly. We checked out and went to another hotel . I would definitely not stay here again or recommend this hotel.

The Comfort Inn and Suites sits behind a gas station and car wash, but once you make your way into the hotel, it is quite clean and the staff is friendly and helpful.

The first room 310 had a bug in the bed. The lamp was hard to turn on. We were moved to a second room 221. The light as we walked in was out and the air conditioner was noisy.

I brought my granddaughter down for the ASA Fastpitch tournament. We stayed for about 6 nights. The location was great and so was the service. I'm a exercise nut, so the limited equipment was a dissapointment (a few weights, treadmill, and spin bike). The spin bike did not work and control buttons were exposed. Needed a special key for treadmill from […] front desk. Sauna was small but adequate...not much competition for time. The indoor pool was very nice. The breakfast was more than I expected and gets an "A-" from me(I do like my sausage, eggs, and biscuits, but the kitchen shut down 1/2 hour earlier then advertised 1 day). During my stay, we had a few 100 degree or hotter very humid days....the air conditioner worked flawlessly. I thought about bringing my road bike, but I probably wouldn't have ridden with the extreme heat and humidity. Ruby Falls (cavern with underground water falls) is just around the corner and was much fun. We explored it on the morning before returning home. The guide made the event a fun adventure. I also got a loving kick out of that "Southern Accent" from most of the front desk personnel :). Enjoyed Sugar's Ribs, which was a short distance away. Gave the goats, just outside, our leftover cornbread and sides (not the ribs). Overall, we enjoyed the stay and would go back and also recommend this location. Mehr

After checking in we left the room for several hours. Upon return the room was freezing. Then we realized we could not adjust the temperature of the a/c. We called the desk, someone came up and said they would have it looked at the next day. The hotel was full so we could not change rooms. The following day no one checked the a/c. We slept in our clothes […] and socks. When we told the desk person she said "well you have a/c" which was good since it was close to 100 degrees outside. The following night the fire alarm went off at 1:30 a.m. Everyone was out in the parking lot for at least 1/2 hour before the fire dept. allowed us back in. We were told there was a fire in the TV in the exercise room. There was no apologies and no offer of a credit for all our inconvenience. Keep away, this place is not being maintained. Mehr

I was very pleased with the condition of this hotel. The lobby and breakfast room were well-appointed for this grade of hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The bath was nice size,clean, and well stocked. The check-in desk was under staffed. I was disappointed. I have few compliments for the complimentary breakfast. The apple juice was watered down and the orange juice was not at all palatable. I will give them credit for having fresh fruit. The bathroom sink, bathtub, and toilet were particularly unclean and I spent the first 30-45 minutes trying to touch up the place, The water in the […] indoor pool was dirty so we decided not to chance it. The proximity to downtown Chattanooga was reasonable but the immediate area was unappealing. All things considered, I would not recommend it. Mehr

Good breakfast area, clean rooms, short drive to downtown Chattanooga. Room smelled a little musty unless window was left open with the air on, parking is limited and shared with another hotel. Free wireless internet was not working.

This hotel was only about 10 minutes from great attractions. The complementary breakfast was good. The hotel staff was very helpful in answering my questions about attractions and directing me to nearby stores. I would stay there again.

Location was convenient to the tourist destinations on that side of town. No good scenery as it is located behind a c-store. Overall service and condition was OK but nothing special.

The hotel was well maintained, very nice and really clean. The breakfast was good too with biscuits and gravy, eggs and the usual continental fare. I really liked that they started breakfast at 6 so we could get going back on the road.

Pool was green and dirty; exercise equipment was broke (at least 3 out of the 4 machines available); tv in the exercise room was broke. We will book with another hotel when we are in this area again.

Hairdryer kept overheating and would shut off after only a couple of minutes.

Liked everything about the hotel including rooms, breakfast and courteous staff.

Our room was not ready when we checked in - beds were unmade, bathroom not cleaned. We were given another room which was located right by the elevator, but we never heard it and we were there for three nights. Staff was friendly and helpful when we asked for directions. Would have been nice to have a microwave to heat the biscuts at the Sunrise breakfast, […] but otherwise the items provided met our expectations. Indoor pool was clean, overall hotel was clean as well as the parking area. Not much choice of restaurants near the hotel except for fast food, but several within a 10 minute drive. Hotel is close to the major attractions in the area. I would stay at the hotel again. Mehr

This was a nice hotel for someone who doesn't mind driving a little for everything. Was not near much of anything, but nice mountain scenery. Not far to restaurants, shopping, etc. Just don't stay here without a car! Rooms were clean and comfortable, would stay here again.

The beds were huge with pillow top mattresses! Slept very comfortably!!! Frig and microwave in the room, big bathroom! The breakfast was fantastic! The only down side was I had to take the biscuits and oatmeal back to our room to heat them cause they didn't have one in the breakfast area. Other then that it was wonderful! Rooms were clean and quiet.

First the bad, the pool was green and there wasnt a great selection for breakfast. The room was clean, it had a little smell at first but when the AC kicked on it cleared up. The employees were nice & friendly. The location to Lookout Mt was great! I would stay there again just wouldnt go for a dip.
