The staff were very friendly and helpful. The Hotel is very clean and the bed was very comfortable. There are many restaurants nearby and the hotel is close to everything in Birmingham. No views except of parking lot and Leows.

Having car problems on a road trip, I had an unexpected stay in Birmingham and found this hotel on Hotels.com. The room was spacious and clean, and having a restaurant on property was a plus. The chef at the hotel restaurant, Lakeshia, was charming, welcoming, and prepared specialized meals. She was wonderful.

Located in a shopping center, close to restaurants, FedEx Office and shopping. Clean building, 24 hr business center, helpful staff. A nice experience. I will return when next I visit Birmingham.

The only comment that I have is that in the future, you should think about replacing the toliets. They need to be higher off of the floor.

The hotel stay was great. The hotel was very nice.

I made this reservation four months in advance and called the day before check-in to confirm. I was told everything was in order. When I got there, they told me that the only room available was a smoking room. Apparently Alabama is one of the few remaining places on the planet that still has smoking rooms, but I wasn't given an option when I made the […] reservation. Even though the room was clean, it REEKED! This being Race Weekend at Talladega, there wasn't another room to be had anywhere nearby, so I was forced to take this room or nothing. The nice man at the front desk offered the use of an air cleaning machine which did nothing but make noise. Upon checkout I asked if this hotel offered a retired military discount. They said they did, but because I made my reservation through this website, I was out of luck (again). Overall, despite my misfortune, I would definitely consider staying here again. Mehr

I showed up to check in and the hotel did not have any rooms with two beds. That was fine. I requested a roll away bed. The manager called and asked for a bed to be delivered to my room. The roll away never showed up. Later that evening my kids decided they wanted to play the video games on the television. I pressed the correct buttons and it told us […] the controller was not hooked up and for us to call the front desk. I contacted the front desk and they sent someone up right away. When he arrived he pressed all the same buttons that I did and said he needed to contact the front desk and walked out of the room.......never came back and no follow up call. So my kids and I decided we would go for a swim. We got down to the pool and it was closed. They were having issues balancing the water. The pool was all green. The hot tub was working so my kids got in there for a few minutes. I specifically booked this hotel so that my kids could swim and it had an indoor pool. When I returned to the room I called the front desk to find out where the roll away bed was. They told me a soccer team had checked in and they used up all of the roll away beds. I got up the next morning and went to take a show. And there it was, mold in the shower. I went to the front desk after packing up my things and discussed my stay with the clerk. She wrote down all the informatin and told me the manager would be calling me that day to address the situation. The manager never called. Hence the reason I'm writing this information. I am not one to complain and this is actually the first negative experience I've had with Hilton or Hampton. If she would have called to address the situation I would not be writing this. Mehr

Nice,clean room and enjoy all the nice restaurants, both fast food and decent sit downs, within walking distance. Feels like a safe area too.

The girl at the front was amazingly friendly. She was a young black girl who made us feel very welcome. I would go back to that hotel just to see her smiling face again. She was awesome. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The grill food was well seasoned. The pool did not seem as clean as it should be. Very strong chemical smell, but visibly dirty. Otherwise, everything was great.

The hotel is light, bright and sunny. Staff are friendly and fun. Very close to wonderful restaurants and shopping. Going on our "Places to stay" list.

I didn't realize when I booked it that this hotel didn't allow cancellations. We were forced to drive almost 500 miles in one day when our plans changed because of this policy.

Hotel was a good value for the price paid. I had to wait 10 minutes for someone to appear at the front desk upon check in. After that, service was friendly and efficient, but this inconvenience is pretty inexcusable.
