On arrival the service at the front desk could have been prompter - there was one person on reception who had to attend to two telephone calls whilst... we waited to check in. That aside, the service was extremely good and friendly. One particular employee Dan went out of his was to give us information about the area and the history of the town and arranged for printed information as well - Excellent personable employee. We chose to eat in the restaurant and the standard of food was extremely high, albeit there was a delay in service from the kitchen. Again, this was dealt with in an exemplary fashion by the restaurant staff. Overall a most enjoyable stay and if ever in the area we would look to return. Whilst the hotel is finished to a very high standard there is close proximity to empty shops/buildings which gives the area a general feel of being a little run down albeit we understand there are renovation plans in hand of the area. von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 04.04.2012
