Achtung: Die Bewertung ist nicht für das Hotel Eureka sondern für das Mövenpick City Hotel! Wir hatten ein Zimmer im 16 Stock mit fantastischer Aussicht auf den Hafen und die Stadt. Eine Trambahn gleich vor der Haustüre und wer will, kann gleich das Kanalboot nehmen. Was will man mehr. Das Zimmer war gross und gut eingerichtet. Das Frühstück ist eher […] teuer, aber wir haben das nur 1x benutzt am Abreisetag und wenn man Zeit hat, kann man alles durchprobieren. Wir werden zukünftig noch mehr auf Mövenpick Hotels achten. Das Personal wars sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Der Frühstücksraum ist liebevoll eingerichtet und das Frühstück sehr zu empfehlen. Nicht zu empfehlen sind Standardzimmer, die nach hinten auf den Hof gehen: winzig klein, alter Teppichboden, furchtbares Badezimmer.

The things we enjoyed most about this hotel was it's super central location, the ability to have a quiet night of sleep, the amazing breakfast on offer and the extreme friendliness of the staff. Hope you enjoy it too!

Great value for money. Nice breakfast. Awesome, quiet yet central location within walking distance of all the good stuff.

A very nice hotel with one of the best brunch I've tried in Amsterdam. The staff was very polite and the first day breakfast brunch was free. The surroundings was very quiet when we wanted to sleep. There is only 10 min walk to the Damrak street and only 15 min walk to the central station. Price for the stay is super and I sure will come to this hotel […] again. Beautiful hotel, very Cosy with very friendly staff. Excellent buffet breakfast, would highly recommend this hotel for a weekend in Amsterdam.

What a great experience in Amsterdam. Great location with a pleasant breakfast in the mornings. Very helpful staff and the afternoon beer/wine was a very nice addition to the experience! Rooms are small, but were comfortable and clean. I recommend the canal view, very nice!

We are very happy with our stay. The room is clean and has a nice view overlooking cannal. it is a easy 5 mins walk to flower market and 10 mins walk to Dam square. We had a free breakfast for the first day stay and it is a very nice.

The hotel is lovely and charming. The people are extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are very small but pleasant and nicely decorated. The location is fabulous!! Right on a canal and walking distance to most everything. And easy tram ride to the train station. The breakfast is delicious. Location was great, close to tram lines and walking distance of many sights. Room was tiny - I can only admire the skill of the photographer. Service was great though and I would recommend.

The hotel was in a great location and we had a great view of the canal. The hotel was dated and lacked ambiance, but was compensated by the great hospitality of the staff. Fine for short stay if you accept rather small room. Rooms definitely need maintenance/repair work and some investments to fix worn and dated interior and contents. Very nice setting at canal. We enjoyed the personal and friendly service.

A very nice small & comfortable hotel. Facing the canal near the Amstel River it is ideally situated - just far enough away from the busiest part of the city but within easy walking distance of it as well as being close to the trams. The bedroom was a bit on the small side but adequate for a short stay. Within 3 minutes walk of a good range of restaurants. […] It was rather noisy outside on the Saturday night / early hours of Sunday but other nights OK. A good breakfast buffet (10 euros per person but first morning free!) The staff could not have been more friendly & helpful. We would definitely recommend it & use again if we visited Amsterdam. Location and breakfast was good. Even the customer service was satisfactory but the cleanliness needs to be improved. Rooms not too clean including bed linen. Rooms need aircoditioning in summer .

If you are a simple traveler and want a good original Dutch Boutique hotel this is the choice. I have traveled to Amsterdam for the past three years and this was a true hotel to stay at becuase of its location. It is in the heart of Amsterdam and everything is walking distance. The rooms are fantastic and have full wall windows that open onto the canal. […] Older hotel so expect older rooms, but this is what makes it special. The breakfast in the morning is truely a taste of the Dutch hospitality. As for waht is around the hotel - EVERYTHING!!! Explore Amsterdam and always be less than a 30 minute walk from the hotel. Great location and willl be back next year. We are going to stay on the houseboats the hotels also has, just an idea.... Have a great time at this hotel and enjoy true dutch hospitality. Mehr

Our accommodations were perfect! Upon entering the hotel one is a little taken back by the smallness of the place- but after getting oriented and unpacked we started taking in all the details-antique furnishings,neatness and clean!! The staff was so accommodating and the breakfast was wonderful! The location was right on the canal along a cobblestone […] road. The front had gorgeous flowers and a quaint sitting area. All in all, it by far beat our 5 star 500 room hotel in London. Mehr

THe staff was extremely helpful. We arrived early - at 10:30 a.m., and they offered us coffee and had our room ready for us within 20 minutes. I felt like I was visiting in someone's home. The room was adequate and the breakfast available was great.

the room was too small we hardly moved within the space with laggeges surrondind us, the hotel manger was very friendly and nice, the breakfast was superbe

The Amsterdam House Hotel really added to our Amsterdam experience. Very helpful and likeable staff, wonderful location.

This is an excellent little place near restaurants and the city centre, but tucked away on a quiet side street. The.staff are friendly and competent and the breakfast is great. There's nice breakfast room that doubles as a bar in the evening too.

Hotel was fine, fantastic location, great deal for the price. Perfect hotel for a young person looking for a stress free place to stay. Room had wonderful view, clean, great service and gave us a free breakfast. Hotel could use some minor renovation, and has thin walls that do not block all the noise from neighboring rooms. 4.0 out of 5

Dissapponted at first with the room size but it soon became home and this was more than made up by the pleasant staff who could not have been more obliging and polite. William was a star and very kindly gave us a present when finding out we were there for my wife's something er birthday. Buying breakfast extra was not great although I have to say it […] was a good one in a lovely room by canal with a friendly heron outside the window. Location was great for walkers and for a short stay was perfect although two weeks in that room would have been claustrophobic. Having said that the price for a city centre location was fine. I suggest you have a room overlooking the canal if you can but pleasant people will always make up for any shortfall in the room size for me. God bless. Mehr

I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. It was close to the centre of the city but not too noisy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast cost extra but was very good value and it was great that it was available until midday. The room was not too small and our view of the canal was splendid. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Hotel Amsterdam is an authentic Amsterdam hotel with clean, typically small rooms in a great central location. The staff take great pride in their establishment and will do all they can to make your stay a pleasant one. They offer a very good breakfast buffet which is included in your stay for the first morning. I found it charming and very conveniently […] located. I would recommend this hotel overall, however I found the rates to be on the high side. Mehr

Lovely, friendly character hotel, good location, good value for money.

We had to check in late because of flight delays, but we had called ahead to inform the reception desk. The staff was very accomodating and even opened breakfast early for us since we had to catch an early train.

Excellent location with wonderful staff. We stayed for three nights and asked for a view of the canal, which we received no charge. Rooms were small but that is normal. Staff were all very friendly. Skip the breakfast. Great location, out of the red light district but close enough, maybe a 10 minute walk. Great area across the canal with karaoke bar […] and wonderful restaurants. Meget hyggeligt i gammel stil. Obs der er værelser til kanalsiden og en baggård. Lækker morgenmad. Meget venlige personaler, som vil gøre nærmest alt for en. Det ligger i gå afstand til alt. Ca 1 km fra central stationen og der går sporvogn, men man kan sagtens gå. Kommer igen til foråret. Kan klart anbefales.

Lidt slidt og gammelt, MEN super hyggeligt, lille hotel. Utrolig sødt personale, fin beliggenhed og udemærket morgenmad. Alt i alt et hotel jeg varmt kan anbefale.

Un hotel très romantique, au bord d'un canal tranquille, à proximité du Dam. Un service très agréable et souriant, prêt à vous aider à réaliser tous vos souhaits. A retenir pour une prochaine visite dans le Nord.

Hotel muito simpático, fiquei num quarto bastante grande com vista para o canal, decoração muito legal e cama queen. Café da manhã também muito bom, tem uma chapa que você pode fazer seu próprio ovo. O hotel tb fica muito bem localizado.

Très bon accueil, chambre correcte mais un peu petite, petit déjeuner copieux et de très bonne qualité. Emplacement de cet hôtel parfait pour visiter la ville, proche de tous les points importants.

Hotellet har en suveren beliggenhet, med en helt spesiell, hjemmekoselig atmosfære. Rommen er noe slitt, men rene og praktiske. Det beste av alt er servicen, den var fantastisk! Håper de nåværende vertene er der også når vi besøker det neste gang. Vi kommer tilbake!

Rommet var ganske lite, men helt i orden. Koselig med det man trenger for en liten byferie. Veldig god frokost til en rimelig pris, og da var den første gratis. Hyggelig betjening. Noe bråk i helgen pga utelivet. Sentral beliggenhet til bykjernen.

Beliggenheten til hotellet er fenomenal. Rommet var litt slitt og skjevt, slik ting gjerne er i gamle bygninger i Amsterdam. Men rommet var rent og hyggelig. Personalet er hyggelige og hjelpsomme. Jeg fikk gratis frokost den første dagen. Og endte opp med å spise der hver morgen. Den er vel verdt prisen (10 euro i 2011). Hegren som de skryter av er […] ekte, jeg så den allerede første dagen...
