Super Hotel mit gutem Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Freundliches hilfsbereites Personal. Etwas weg vom Stadtzentrum jedoch einfach mit dem öffentlichen Verkehr erreichbar und ruhig.

Zu bemängeln waren die dreckigen Kaffeetassen auf dem Zimmer und das das Zimmer doch etwas klein ist. Ansonsten super Aufenthalt. Ca. 10 minütiger Fussmarsch vom Hotel zur Tramstation.

Super Hotel, super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, sehr nette motivierte Mitarbeiter, Frühstück nichts für Leute, die sich nicht entscheiden können, die Auswahl ist enorm. Großer Park in der Nähe. Wer lärmempfindlich ist, wohnt nach hinten raus.

Callas Hotel am Dom befindet sich mitten in Köln in der Nähe von: Wallrafplatz, Kölner Dom und Römisch-Germanisches Museum. Nicht weit entfernt befinden sich: Rathaus und Alter Markt.
Ausstattung
Dieses Hotel bietet folgendes Gastronomieangebot: Bar/Lounge. Jeden Morgen wird Ihnen ein kostenloses Frühstück serviert. Hervorragendes Hotel in der Innenstadt von Köln. Die Zimmer sind zwecksmäßig eingerichtet und das Personal sehr zuvorkommend. Dieses Hotel ist empfehlenswert.

Vom Hotel aus hat man nur einen kurzen Fußweg in die Altstadt von Köln.

Aufnahme nett und kompetent, Haus erkennbar aus den 50-60er Jahren. Nasszelle nicht beheizt, Duschen ist ein Akt der Selbstüberwindung im Winter.

"Das Hotel Callas am Dom liegt super zentral"
Lage: Super Erreichbarkeit: Super Service: Gut Zimmer: Gut Frühstück: Sehr gut Preis: Gut Kleiner Nachteil bei Zimmern zur Fußgängerzone. Hier kann es u.U. etwas laut werden - vor allem wenn es laue Nächte gibt, oder der 1.FC Köln ein Heimspiel hat. Ist aber für eine Nacht auch ok und für Fußballfans nachvollziehbar.

"Kurztrip nach Köln"
Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen. Gute Shoppingmöglichkeiten und Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Nähe. Der Service ist freundlich. Da das Hotel in einer Einkaufspassage ist, kann es teilweise laut werden. Ansonsten waren wir zufrieden.

Das zum Hof liegende Zimmer 35 war ruhig und sauber, der Teppich dürfte es zwar bald hinter sich haben aber die Einrichtung war bis auf den defekten Toilettendeckel in Ordnung. Das Badezimmer ist winzig, etwas kräftiger gebaute Menschen dürften Schwierigkeiten haben, auf der Toilette Platz zu nehmen. Das Frühstück war einfach aber ausreichend. "Hotel im Zentrum -trotzdem ruhig"
Vom Hotel aus kommt man sofort zu Dom, Bahnhof und Ludwigmuseum und noch vielen anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Mein Zimmer war ruhig....die Glocken am Morgen erfreuten und waren auch nur verhalten. Das Zimmer war klein, aber es war alles drin was man braucht....so auch ein helles Tageslichtbad. Das Hotel liegt an einer sehr belaufenen Fußgängerzone […] und ich befürchtete dass man die Menschen hören würde, aber davon keine Spur....mein Zimmer ging auch nicht auf diese Straße. Im Hotel hängen schöne Bilder....in meinem Zimmer hing van Gogh in einer Reproduktion.....ich finde zwar, ein Hotel sollte auch mal auf echte, dafür unbekannte Kunst zurückgreifen....dann wirds einfach spannender....aber der van Gogh und die anderen Bilder und Fotos waren geschmackvoll ausgesucht und kombiniert. Ein aufgrollter Teppich im Flur, und einige kleine Schäden dort in der Wand störten etwas das Bild......vielleicht war man dabei aufzuräumen, keine Ahnung. Insgesamt war ich zufrieden......auch das Frühstück bot alles von Müsli bis zum Brötchen, Nutella und Salami....und Obst. So wie es für das 3 Sterne Hoteil passend ist: Es war alles da, mehr als auf meinem heimatlichen Frühstückstisch, aber es war auch nicht ein Wunder an Dekoration oder feiner Köstlichkeiten....muss aber auch nicht. Die Bedienung war immer da, wenn man sie brauchte, und hielt sich gleichzeitig aufmerksam im Hintergrund....sympathische Menschen.....es herrschte hier bestimmt keine unangenehme Hektik, trotzdem war man immer sofort dran: Ein Kompfort, den nur ein kleines Hotel bieten kann. Lage Top, Zimmer Top, Frühstück Top - nur die Lautstärke der Gäste auf dem Flur war nicht akzeptabel. ( Zimmer sehr hellhörig) Kosten für den PKW Stellplatz sehr hoch.

Durch die äußerst zentrale Lage dieses Hotels ist man fürs Shopping und Flanieren mitten im Geschehen. Sollte man mal zwischendurch eine kleine Pause brauchen, dann geht man schnell beim Hotel vorbei und legt sich für 1/2 halbe Stunde aufs Bett bevors wieder losgeht. Das Hotel bietet uns alles, was wir für eine Städtereise brauchen.

Das Hotel ist sehr emfehlenswert. Jedoch hatte ich persönlich Pech, dass ich ein Zimmer, direkt an der Hohe Strasse hatte und das ist die, meiner Meinung nach, best besuchte Einkaufsallee in ganzem Köln. Bis ca. Mitternacht hatte ich keine Ruhe somit geht dann morgen ab 9 Uhr weiter, also für langschläfer ist das nichts. Ansonsten das Personal war sehr […] freundlich und Hilfsbereit. Feine zubereitetes Buffett war jeden Morgem reichlich da. Auch mein Pech war, dass an einem Tag irgendwelche Renovationen im Hotel vorgenommen wurden, was sehr laut war und überall krachte. Ansonsten das Hotel ist direkt am Dom und sehr Zentral gelegen. HB ca. 3 Min. zu Fuss erreichbar. Mehr

Just 5 minutes walking distance from the centural station. clean and good room, but a little but noisy because it is on the shopping street. Internet is not free and I have to pay additional surchage to use it even though it seems my resevation includes internet.

I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. I was able to check in early, which was nice. The staff is very friendly and very nice. My room was a little small, but clean and I had no complaints. My booking included breakfast which was a small buffet which did it's job. The place is on a main street with a lot of shopping. It is next to the Dom and main train […] station. Very modest hotel but very clean and in central location. Main city attractions in walking distance and just at the main shopping street. Rooms small but for spending a few nights it's not a bother. Not all guests were respecting the smoking ban so from our hallway you could smell cigarettes. No hotel parking but staff directed to close-by parking lots. "Located in the shopping street"
The hotel is just located in the shopping street, the small front door is very unnoticeable. You may ask them to reserve the quiet room facing to the other side, otherwise it might be very noisy. The room space is large enough and the room is very clean, but there is no electric water boiler, it's very unconvenient to backpackers(You may want to drink […] hot chocolate or have some instant noodles.) There is no free-WIFI, but receptionist gave us 1 hour to access the wireless internet for free. The breakfast is just like the one served in hostel. "Callas Hotel am Dom -very central"
Handy to walk to lots of places of interest or to the U-Bahn. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was priced reasonably and we would stay there again. A great visit to the Christmas markets.

The hotel located near to the Central Station and the main shopping street. Although the hotel room is very small, but the price is still reasonable. My booking included breakfast which is good for a bugeted traveler.
"The Management and Staff Were Awesome"
This hotel was located right in town. Excellent location!! For the price of the room, you got a lot!! I did have an issue when I accidentally parked in a loading zone and got my car towed. The owner of the hotel tracked the car down for me and translated. I recommend this place very highly.

The good - The staff at the front desk were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I really enjoyed the breakfasts of bread, eggs, cheeses and meats. The location was very good. It was a very short walk to the train station, beautiful cathedral, shopping, the rhine river, great restaurants and nightlife. The rates were some of the lowest available […] in the downtown area. The room had a quality modern flat screen TV. The bad - The room and bed were very small. Breakfast was served directly outside my hotel room door. I spent three nights at the Callas Hotel while working in the Cologne and Duisberg area. The location is fantastic, right by the cathedral and the train and tram station from which I went in a number of directions very easily and inexpensively, all while staying at the heart of downtown. I took no cabs. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the […] included breakfast was very nice. They have an internet connection that lets you use it for 12 hours for 10 Euros but you only use the time while connected. It stops using your time up when you disconnect so I only used about 10 hrs in the three days. Great place to stay for a good price. Mehr

Plus + location was excellent. + very clean rooms + numerous restaurants in the area + right on the shopping area. Minus - all but 1 person on the hotel staff was not friendly. - the staff members talked about guests when […] they didn't know that the guest knew German. - no visitors were allowed in the rooms or hotel which should have been stated on the site. - was questioned every time I went into the hotel if I stayed there or not. - only one key to the room - I had a double room and a room mate and he was questioned every time he went in. - bathrooms were small but expected it due to it being a european hotel. "Callas Hotel am Dom, Köln--a best kept secret!"
The Callas Hotel am Dom, Köln, was the best of all our hotels during our six week stay in Europe. The hotel staff was super helpful. We arrived after I had just accidentally left my day pack on the train, and the hotel staff was very kind and helpful to me, offering me the use of their computer, and any other help that we needed while my pack (and computer) […] was still missing. (It was recovered the following morning.) The staff was also helpful with suggestions for restaurants in the area. At first, the hotel itself appeared to be little more than a door opening onto the walking area close to the Dom. Inside, the hotel is modern, has an elevator, and the rooms are bright and very clean. The breakfast at the hotel was among the best that we were offered during our trip (ie., a relatively wide selection of juices, rolls, meat, cheese, boiled eggs, cereal, yogurt, coffee, etc...). I would happily stay at this hotel again. It's very close to the Dom, and right in the shopping area of Köln. Best of all, on Sunday morning, we could enjoy the sounds of church bells ringing from churches in the area. Mehr

The location was great, easy access to happening area, but you can't park close by as it's located in the pedestrian area. They don't offer free WiFi, and they are charging crazy per hour!!!!

Nice little hotel close to the dom of cologne. Rooms are small but clean and really ok. It is 3 + hotel. Breakfast very nice. Even parking facilities are close to the shopping street and in walking distance and free of charge during the night. I may come back again ...

Very, very clean and functional. Great location. However, the info says that every room has a balcony. Ours did not, nor did any that I could see. There was a huge window that overlooked the street, but no balcony. the street noise was a bit bothersome, but it died off after midnight. Breakfast in the morning was superb!

My wife and I stayed here on two separate occasions about a fortnight apart. On both occasions the staff were polite and helpful. On the first, the room was a little disappointing, tucked away at the back and decidedly "tired"; and so it was with some reticence that we checked in for our second stay. This time however, in spite of arriving at 7:00 […] in the morning, we were allocated a really nice room, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The Hotel is perfectly located, a short walk from the Railway Station and the Cathedral. Being on a major shopping street it can be a bit noisy, but the large double glazed windows do a good job of cutting the noise down to acceptable levels. The hotel personnel was very nice. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was great. However, the heating was turned off, so that it was freezing in the room. There isn't even a phone in the room to call reception to ask for more blankets. And the single room was tiny! Does that even qualify for 3 stars? Internet is generally not included, […] unlike mentioned on the hotels.com website. So take a print out. The location of the hotel is perfect though. Right in the middle of town. Mehr

This "hotel" is more like a building with rooms and businesses. Right outside my room was a knife shop?! in which the people working in the knife shop were smoking in a non smoking hotel. Also the owners of the hotel with the office 1 floor below me were also smoking all day long. It was a horrible experience for a non smoker. There is NO room safe […] for you to keep documents or your computer and the rooms are very small, even in comparison with European rooms. There is no internet service in this hotel despite the website telling you there is. The breakfast was passable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Stay somewhere else for the money spent. The only great thing about this hotel was the location. If you are only concerned about location, then this is your place. Other then that, it is a DUMP Mehr
