Flea bites, air conditioner worked very poorly and was falling apart. Breakfast was nasty. Will not stay there again nor recommend to anyone

We stayed one night and were suprised by the number of smokers that were in the non-smoking areas. It could be casually excused if there was one or two or even three but we ran into numerous groups, some with children in tow that were smoking everywhere on premises; in hallways, in the breakfast room, walking through lobby, waiting outside the lobby, […] at the vending machine area, just everywhere. Staff were kind enough to move us to a different (smaller) room away from our smoking neighbors (even though we booked a non-smoking room) but there was no getting away from it... This hotel caters to smokers, which is fine - if you're a smoker. For non-smokers or anyone that doesn't do well around smokers - I would stay a few blocks away from this place...regardless if you are in the non-smoking area or not. Mehr

I had always stay at Super 8 but now that I tried La Grande Inn, this will be my place to stay from now on. Clean, nice people, coffee taste good and good breakfast. Best value for the money.

I thought there was a musty smell in the hallways and in the rooms themselves. It didn't bother my husband, but I picked up a solid air freshner to put by the air conditioner. That made it a little better.

Hello .. Ocerall I felt I got what I paid for ... but I I was disappointed when I realized it was not a Hotels.com Rewards member. Plus I wasn't thrilled there was not micorwave and the rmini fridge did not work . Thanks

We were doing a trade show with long hours. We don't spend much time in our room. On the first night everything was great. Front desk staff very pleasant and helpful. However the next day was a different story. When we left the room at 6:30am we left the Maid Service sign on the door, so they would know that they could clean out room. When we returned […] at 8:00pm that evening, the sign was still on the door. When we entered we found that nothing had been done. I went to the front desk. It took five minutes to get the attention of the front desk clerks. When I asked if they had maid service, she informed me that they did. I explained how I found the room. She looked on the motel cleaning sheet and the maid had put that we had the do not distrub sign out. I told her no it was the mail service requested sign and she infomed me that they probably could not ready what it said. I asked from clean towels and she went and got them but was not happy about it. Hallways smelled old and dirty. Mehr

Went to check out so colleges in the area. EOU, Bosie State, and Washington State. The stay was great and would saty again. The only problem was that the heat runs off floor water heaters. When the heat turned on it sounded like an old radiator.

The hotel is older but inside it shows alot of renovation. The biggest problem was a musty smelly hallway and room. We were so tired that we got used to the smell is the room. The bed was ok, and the room was clean.

I was a little concerned by some of the earlier reviews posted, but we liked the location and it looked adequate from previous trips to the area, so we gave it a try. We found the room clean and well layed out. I hate the normal, way too hard, motel beds, but we found the beds here very comfortable. The only negatives I noticed were the two chairs in […] the room were simple straight chairs, and there was no microwave. Arm chairs are always a nice amenity, but not a problem for a one night stay. This is not a luxury hotel, but the price is reasonable, and it is more than adequate. I will stay here again when I take my daughter back to college in the Fall. Mehr

Our room was right next to the stair well, which would have been fine if the walls weren't paper thin. We could actually hear someone in the room next to us snoring! I would not recommend this hotel if you are a light sleeper!

Upon checking in, our room had not been cleaned. the bed was not made, or trash emptied and there were dirty towels on the floor of the bathroom. They did say it was a mistake and easily moved us to another bedroom. While i was in the lobby, a guest came and complained that her room smelled of urine and checked out. Breakfast was not impressive either. […] The apples were bad, as well as the doughnuts. After we did get a clean room, everything was fine. It was probably just a mistake, but a very careless one to me! i have been in the hotel business! Mehr
