Das Townhousehotel hat eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre, ein sehr gutes Restaurant und überaus nette und kompetente Mitarbeiter. Außerdem eine kostenfreie Internetstation und liegt in Fussnähe zu einigen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Wirklich empfehlenswertes Hotel. Tagsüber sichere Gegend, nachts etwas ausgestorben aber durch Sicherheitsfirmen gesichert.

Das Hotel zeichnet sich durch ein sehr hilfsbereites und freundliches Team aus. Das Zimmer ist trotz zentraler Lage sehr ruhig und modern eingerichtet. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind gut erreichbar. Danke an das Team und ich empfehle das Hotel gerne weiter. Michael

Great hotel for a four night stay in Cape Town. Conveniently located near the Castle of Good Hope & District Six museum. Easy access to highlights of the city center. THIS HOTEL IS IN CAPE TOWN DOWN TOWN, CLOSE OF EVERY THING, GREEN MARKET, WATERFRONT, MALAIS QUARTER, CLEAN, QUIET, GOOD BREAKFAST, ROOM A LITTLE BIT SMALL, NO BAD THING TO TELL

Had a nice stay at the Townhouse. Clean rooms, friendly service, great location. Would stay here again the next time I am in Cape Town.

The problem was on Saturday morning on the Resturant the helping ladies were not enough for the people having breakfast which made them slower to attend to guests. I slept coming on breakfast and woke up at 12h00. After coming back at Midnight my room was done only the bed nothing else. Seemengly they had a scheduled time for cleaning the rooms. But […] if I had to go to CT again I will use your services for the second time and see what happens.Thank you Mehr

The hotel is clean, good and close to the city. Breakfst is very nice and staff very friendly. If you wish to visit the city is better to do it during working days, since the city becomes empty and not that safe during the weekends. The stop for the Hop-on, Hop-off City Sightseeing Bus is just one street away from the hotel which is very convenient

Modern hotel in the centre of the city close to main attractions. Staff very helpful and hotel restaurant surprisingly very good for breakfast and dinner

This hotel was excellent for me as a single traveler! Close to many things downtown Cape Town. The first room's AC was not working, but they immediately resolved my problem by moving me to a cool room. Thank you for your hospitality! Also, breakfast was included and was A1!

Great location, but frontdesk service needs to improve.

I felt like I had come home to visit. The front desk, concierge, bell men, and security personnel were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was clean, modern and very comfortable. No matter what request I had the staff made it happen. Great value for money. I will definitely stay there again in the future.

Overall 3 star experience. Booked standard room (no bath tub) was small size as advertised, good shower though. Comfortable bed. Rooms clearly had a refurb in last few years. Our only negative was Air Conditioning. Looked like a very old system with low/med/hi settings and thermostat. When set on coldest temperature it was basically blowing out room […] temperature air so no cooling effect! Which is not great when summer temperatures are 30 deg C. After first night of 3, complained to staff. Great service recovery - all credit to them - they moved us into a junior suite with balcony. (it was a wkend and hotel appeared empty) Although the aircon in the suite was much the same as in only blowing room temp air, no cooling, the new room was much bigger which helped reduce stuffy/heat. Perhaps it was a hotel wide problem as we figured the system was for the whole building and each unit vents into a central duct system. They should get this fixed ASAP. Location; we chose here for price ( more than half anything near waterfront) . Location is just next to Parliament and all tourist sites 'diwntown'. Tourist open top sightseeing bus stop is just round corner, so that and combo of taxi is best way to see Capetown in few days. Area feels safe, lots of security guards. Well lit streets. Mehr

I was told the hotel recently had a face-lift. The room was lovely with modern conveniences--a shower you can dance in, a nice selection of late-night room service items. My single room was small but ample for my needs. The restaurant was incredible! I don't typically eat at the hotel restaurant, but I'm so glad I did. Shrimp souffle and broccoli salad […] were memorable as well as the fruit and sorbet dessert. Mehr

I was in Cape Town for a conference at the Cape Town Convention Center and couldn't afford to stay at the Westin. This little hotel is very affordable, and is actually really nice. It took me a little effort to find it, and I was really starting to regret this decision when I was seeing the hotels surrounding it, but I would have to say that this hotel […] is much more modern looking than the other ones in the immediate vicinity. The rooms are nice and comfy. I booked the single room with shower. The room was fairly small, but it was good enough for a single traveler. I was able to peak at the other rooms, and they are much bigger and has a great view of the city. The best part about this hotel though is the restaurant, which is a really nice surprise. Breakfast was good, but nothing to write home about, though I was happy because it was included in the price of the room. I never was here for lunch so I can't comment. Dinner was fabulous though. The steaks are cooked perfectly, and they have a great wine and beer selection at VERY reasonable prices. The neighborhood is ok. One thing you have to know about Cape Town is that the city is VERY empty at night save one or two street with night clubs. The area in the immediate vicinity is very quite after dark, but the police station is pretty much directly across the street from the hotel (although the jailhouse is as well). I never felt threatened walking back at night as there are plenty of security officers roaming the streets as well. During the day, the hotel is very close to many things. Including the market and the St. George Cathedral. Long street is very close as well, and that's where a lot of restaurants and bars are located. I was here in October, which spring time here in Cape Town and even though the weather was very mild, the rooms are quite warm. The AC unit doesn't seem to be very strong and the windows don't open very well to let the cool air in. Overall, it was a very good experience. They front desk Mehr

The hotel is very affordable. The cheapest rooms are however very small. The bed was comfortable, and room clean. The bathroom was also small and had a shower. As I was staying by myself this was ample but if there were 2+ people I would recommend going for the next level up. The location of the hotel was decent but as it was not located near other […] hotels and attractions it can be a bit deserted at nights and on weekends. However, if you are looking for a clean, comfortable and affordable place to stay this is it. Mehr

We stayed here on the basis of reviews from other guests and it was a good choice. Good location and friendly, helpful staff. We had a corner room with great views over Cable Mountain and free internet. The only downsides were that the bed was only queen size and although the breakfast was excellent, the main meal lacked a good chef. I had to return […] my ostrich uneaten, basically meats and fish tended to be over cooked but plenty of good restaurants to choose from and the hotel calls a reliable and cheap taxi service. Mehr

The townhouse hotel was an excellent hotel, the staff were friendly and polite throughout, the manager coming to see us on our first night gave this excellent hotel a freindly environment. The facilities, the decor, the size of the rooms, and all services offerred at the hotel were excellent. A great base to explore Cape Town and SUrrounding areas.
