Das Hotel Soho ist ein Designhotel, Zimmer sehr stylish und ausreichend geräumig, großes, bequemes Bett, Sauberkeit in Ordnung. Leider durch das Beleuchtungskonzept tagsüber und abends etwas dunkel (Jalousien lassen sich nicht ganz öffnen, Lichtquellen nicht sehr hell, Toilette sehr dunkel). Badezimmer ist "Glaskasten" im Raum, lässt sich durch Jalousien blickdicht schließen, Toilette separat und verschlossen (Leider lassen sich Türen nicht komplett schließen, daher etwas hellhörig). Leider kam ab und an ein etwas unangenehmer "Gulli"-Geruch aus dem Abfluss in das Zimmer gewabert, aber da kann das Hotel nicht unbedingt was für. Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich, nach Auschecken konnten wir unsere Koffer in einem abgeschlossenen Raum aufbewahren. Frühstück haben wir nicht in Anspruch genommen, aber es gibt ein paar Cafés in der Nähe. Zum Plaza Catalunya ca. 10 Minuten Fußweg, also nicht 100% zentral, aber annehmbar. Zimmer zur Straßenseite nicht ganz ruhig, für uns aber okay. Alles in allem kann ich das Hotel Soho empfehlen, würde vielleicht beim nächsten Mal aber auch eins der Schwesterhotels ausprobieren, die z.T. ein wenig zentraler liegen :-)

Modernes, zentral gelegenes Hotel. Netter Empfang. Praktisch eingerichtete saubere Zimmer. Ansonsten ruhig und sauber. Die Zimmer zum Innenhof sind ruhig aber dunkel da wenig Licht in den Raum kommt. Zur Straßeseite größer aber lauter. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Positiv: Das Hotel befindet sich in ca. 10 Min. Fußmarsch Entfernung vom Strand. Metrostation in unmittelbarer Nähe, die einen nach zwei Stationen zum Zentrum bringt. Frühstücksbuffet absolut ausreichend mit Brötchen, Croissants, Müsli, Wurst, Käse, Obst.... Negativ: Frühstücksbereich ist eher kantinenartig und recht unruhig. Hohe Internetgebühren.

Sehr nettes Hotel, sehr Zentral gelegen, Es ist kein Luxus Hotel, hat aber alles was man braucht. Beschwerden über Lautstärke kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Es ist halt ein Stadthotel. Einziger Minuspunkt. Kein Gratis Wlan im Zimmer und im Foyer zu schwacher Empfang. Aber dann liesst man halt seineEmails im netten Café um die Ecke.

Direkt neben dem derzeitigen Bahnhof Barcelona Sants gelegen, hat man zum Hotel einen sehr kurzen Anreiseweg mit Flugzeug oder Bahn. Das Hotel verfügt über alle wichtigen Vorteile, die man braucht. Es gibt einen Businessbereich, ein Fitnesstudio und Spa, eine Bar, die Zimmer sind riesig, sauber und haben tolle Bäder mit Badewanne und Dusche, man hat […] einen guten Ausblick auf einige Teile der Stadt, ein Restaurant und Frühstücksräume in der obersten Etage und freundliche und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter. An touristischen Plätzen ist man per Bus, Metro und auch zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten. Das Frühstück kostete uns zuviel, Wir haben gegenüber im Pans jedoch ein kleines Frühstück für rund ein Drittel bekommen, was uns vollkommen ausgereicht hat. Mehr

"Komfortabel und freundlich"
Wir hatten in dem Hotel einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt. Das Personal sprach einwandfreies Englisch und war überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch unser Hotelzimmer entsprach unseren Vorstellung: es war sehr geräumig und sauber. Auch das Badezimmer war in einem super Zustand!

Das Hotel Torre Catalunya liegt gegenüber des Hauptbahnhofes von Barcelona und somit auch Nah an einer gut erschlossenen Metro-Station. Man kann zur Placa de Spania laufen, ist wirklich sehr zentral gelegen,. Der Fitnessraum war klein zu heiss und hat gemüffelt. Die "standard" Zimmer waren OK, sahen aber ein bisschen "mitgenommen" aus, heisst nicht […] allzu gut erhalten. Das Hotel ist O.K. aber nicht was man sich von einem 4-Stern-Hotel erwartet. "Schöne Fernsicht"
Das Hotel empfiehlt sich durch eine schöne Fernsicht (unser Zimmer lag im 19. Stock) und ein schönes Zimmer. Die Lage des Hotels bietet eine hervorragende Anbindung an den Flughafen BCN und mit 3 Stationen ist man auch schnell im Bereich der 'Diagonale'' und den Möglichkeiten zum Ausgehen dort. zum Zentrum und zum Meer ist es allerdings ein Stückchen […] zu fahren. Schönes Hotel in guter Lage mit tollem Ausblick auf Barcelona. Sehr freundlicher Service, der auf individuelle Wünsche schnell und kompetent reagiert. Nur W-Lan ist teuer, es gibt aber ein Business-Center, wo man Internet für 5 Minuten kostenlos und für 30 Minuten einen einstelligen Betrag bezahlen muss.

"Excellent, spacious room!"
Arrived on an early flight from Dublin, walked out of Barcelona Sants statiion and there is the hotel, pretty much over looking the station. Arrived at reception at about 1030 with the intention of merely dropping off our bags and moochin around town till check-in time (1400) but were allowed up to our room straight away. Double sinks in room, bath […] and separate wet room shower, super comfy 6 foot wide bed. One of the nicest rooms I've stayed in bar te wedding suite in Harvey's Point, Donegal! Mehr

"Perfect service and location"
Frinedly staff and good service. Location nearby the central station "Sants" is perfect for train, metro and open bus tour. We also enjoyed of the Spa. Real nice is the restaurant on the top floor; You have a great view and the foor is excellent, really good ! Enjoy your stay.

This is a modern business hotel right in front of the Sants train station in Barcelona. The room was great, the staff helpful. The only negative is its a 10 minute walk to restaurants beisides those at the train station.

"Gran Torre Catalunya: Right next to the train stat"
This is a high rise hotel, reminiscent of a Marriott or Crowne Plaza in the US. Just as clean, spacious, and nice. The restaurant on the top floor has a beautiful view, especially at night. It's right across from the main train station and bus depot. Not very close to old town and the waterfront though.

Hotel and staff were amazing! They were super-friendly and willing to go the extra mile. Our luggage was delayed and the front desk and business center were diligent in following up with airline on a regular basis. The rooms were clean and view was nice. The view from the top floor restaurant was amazing! The breakfast was bountiful... worth the discounted […] price per person for pre-booked vs. standard price on the day of. Rooms were comfortable and clean. PROS: Location was close to Metro. Grocery store around the corner in the 'basement" of adjacent building, located near park area, Staff was amazing and all spoke English, Rooms were nice, Bathroom was nice (strong water pressure), Nice breakfast CONS: Long lines to check-in and check-out. We stayed there for two nights. There was a party with loud music at the hotel next door. The party and music was really loud and it did not end until after 1:30AM. There was nothing anyone can do. Literally across the street from Sants rail station and the Barcelona metro, Torre Catalunya is a great choice when visiting this city. Clean, modern bright rooms and spaces. Pass on the breakfast buffet, better cheaper alternatives in the area.

I wanted a larger hotel in a convenient location. I studied my options on hotels.com and other sites, and I am really glad I picked this hotel. The rate was reasonable. The staff was fluent in English, and was very responsive to anything we needed, or asked about. The room was a good size, and bathroom was great, ex. it was hard to get in and out of […] the shower (tub). The plaza across the street is not very pretty, however, we had a nice view from the 7th floor. Even from the 7th floor, you could see mountains in the distance. The upper floors had even better views! The supermarket next door was so convenient. The main train station of Barcelona is at your doorstep. You are not in the most heavily touristed section of the city by the Rambla, but it is an easy subway ride away. The beds are hard, but this seems to be common in Europe. You can walk to Plaza Espanya, and the magic fountain show. In short, i would have no trouble recommending this place, and would love to return to the wonderful city of Barcelona, and stay at Torre Catalunya again. Mehr

Overall, this is a great place to stay when visiting Barcelona. It is located within walking distance of everything we needed; shopping, parks, restaurants, train station, taxi stops and the subway. It's still in a great neighborhood near Plaza Espana and right next to a major train station as well as regular bus service and sightseeing bus service very close to the hotel. What a great view from the top of the hotel of all Barcelona. The breakfast was extra but worth it. Parking was confusing, because my husband did not realize that you had to drive on the side walk to get to the parking lot which was extra as well, but expected. The rooms were very nice with a very nice view. My husband almost got robbed in front waiting […] in the car for me to check into the hotel, but not to listen to the scam. A guy tapped on the rear of his car and told him to get out of his car that there was a problem, but my husband said to wait until I returned to talk spanish to him, but the guy left. We felt safe at this hotel and took the subway from the front of the hotel to go to the center each day. My daughters and I also enjoyed the spa services hot pools for 6 euros each. It was relaxing. Stayed here 2 nights mainly because of ease for train travel to and from the airport. I was thrilled to walk out of the train station and see the hotel right there, yet I didn't hear any train noise in our room. Staff was great, I asked and they upgraded our reservation to an upper superior room at no extra charge. The view was great over the city. […] Getting to the main tourist area of Las Ramblas was only 5-10 mins by train. Rooms were clean, bathroom was the largest i'd ever had the pleasure of having on vacation. Room was nice and cool which can sometimes be an issue with energy saving AC in european countries. I'm also used to north american standards for hotels, and this was suited to a more american hotel in terms of size, amenities, etc. Beds were super comfy and had great sleeps. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel, I will definetly stay here again when I am in Barcelona!! Mehr

Stayed at Torre Catalunya for 5 nights and I had zero complaints. I had an issue with the pillows being too big, so one of the staff members immediately brought comfortable pillows to my room.The staff spoke english and helped us out a lot. Rooms were clean and the bathroom was huge. Hotel is located across from the Barcelona Sants train station that […] took us to Stiges beach and to the old city of Girona. Metro was 1 block away. The room was fine but the location and the fact the hotel wanted to charge for everything like the gym and pool left us disappointed, The £16 for breakfast was a joke when the superb food in the city was much cheaper.

We arrived at the main train station in Barcelona and after a long flight, was so happy to see that the hotel was right outside of the building. Our flight arived pretty late thanks to the incompetence of Luftthansa Airlines, but the staff at the hotel greeted us with a smile and welcomed us graciously to the hotel. Our check in was fast and they provided […] us with a great deal of information throughout our stay. Their recommendations for shows and places to eat were wonderful. We used the Hop-On-Hop-Off buses to get around the city and see the main sites and used the Metro and trains for everything else. All three bus, trin and Metro were right at the Sants Barcelona station right outside of the hotel, so it is a wonderful place to stay if you are a tourist. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed with great views of the city and a nice buffet in the morning on the top floor which had even better views. If I return to Barcelona, this would be the hotel for me! Mehr

"Gran Hotel torre Catalunya was an excellent choice"
The proximity to the Sants train station and the very helpful staff are two reasons why we would recommend this hotel. It was also extremely clean and the rooms were comfortable with great views of the city.

It is important to check whether the price includes breakfast. Since it was clear my breakfast included in price when I got to the hotel it was not so and wanted to charge us. Price also using the Internet is a high price rather than logical.

It's hard to find a Hotel in Spain with a gym. The rooms are big and comfortable. They are located next to the metro, bus, and train stations. I was there when there were protest in Plaza Catalunya and when the Barcelona team won the Champions league. You don't want to be downtown during those events. Barcelona is one of the best cities on Earth.

"Decent hotel if you get a good price"
It's right outside the Sants Estacio (main railway station). This station has a train that takes you to the airport. It's also walking distance to Catalan Art museum and MontJuic where they have the olympic stadium. It's not close to the Gaudi places or Las Ramblas but there's a metro stop right outside the hotel so you can take a metro to all of the […] other places in Barcelona. The hotel is quite nice and fancy. The rooms are average. The TV is old school and the reception is quite poor. I'd like to think that the hotel of this class should have flat screens and satellite reception. They give wi-fi free only for 15 mins and if you wanna use their computer in the business center, its only free for 5 mins. Breakfast is quite expensive so I'd skip it. Rooms are decent size (quite big by euro standards). Bathroom is nice and big. The customer service is excellent. We arrived in our room with a big bottle of complimentary champagne waiting for us since they knew we were coming for our honeymoon which was nice of them. Over all, a pretty good hotel for a decent price. Mehr

The hotel overall was great and provided exactly what we were looking for. The bathroom was much larger than expected. Full size shower and full size tub with 2 sinks. The only thing wrong with the room were the beds. They were terribly hard. Other than that the room had a magnificent view of the city on the 10th floor. Don't use anything from the mini bar, there is a market just down the street. Their mini bar prices are way over exaggerated! Internet service was good except that it was confusing as to how to purchase it. Overall, it was a great room and extremely clean. This is a first rate hotel-beautiful views, big rooms, nice bathrooms. To me it was worth having to take the metro to get to Las Ramblas and other attractions. There is a hop-on, hop-off tourist bus that stops near the hotel, as well. (about 30 euro). The one drawback is a 5 minute limit on free wifi-even when no one is waiting to use the computers. "Torre Catalunya"
Upon checking in, I immediately liked the hotel. The receptionist spoke great English and took time explaining stuff that was actually useful rather than a sales pitch. Location is dead opposite Sants station, and close to Metro at Sants or Tarragona. Whilst the hotel is some distance from the gothic quarter and coast, it is a nice area and the Metro […] takes you where you need very quickly. Our room was an executive suite on 14th floor with fantastic views. Room was well appointed and very clean. "Gran Hotel Catalunya"
The staff were incredibly helpful throughout and provided some of the best customer service I have ever experienced in a hotel of this grade. Whilst convenient for the train station and metro (and great for visiting Sintre), it is though some distance to walk to the city centre.The hotel was very good value overall and exstremly good for its type.
"Good hotel, close to Sants Train station"
This hotel is pretty clean and our room was fairly good sized. It is right next to Sants Estacio (train station) and a big supermarket next door. It's clean and comfortable enough (all tile, no carpet, though). Only two negatives: 1. we booked a King bed and were given two twins because they ran out; and 2. the sliding door to the bathroom was broken […] and hard to use. It's a 10 min metro ride or a 45 min walk to Rambla and other central areas. Mehr
