Great hotel, great location, comfy bed. Super convenient for taking in the Astros and awesome breakfast room service!

Quality location, service, and amenities. Great if you're dashing in-town for business or leisure and need a nice little gem to reside at. One hidden plus, Lawry's owns the joint so the food is superb! Only minus is: where's the sauna?!

Very good, the staff was very enjoyable to work with, they even drove us in the van to the ball park in the rain, good food, great location and atmosphere.

Close to Minute Maid Park, Toyota Center & Goerge R. Brown Convention Center. Also very close to many restaurants. Hotel and staff are very nice. The hotel design is different than most others. If you are a sports fan, or just want a change, I highly recommend it. We had a great time. The Inn at the Ballpark made our Easter holiday very special. The service and staff are fantastic, the food was exceptional at a fair price. I can't tell you how wonderful it was to be directly across the street from Minute Maid Park. We had a super weekend and there was a wonderful church across the street that was also great to have especially on […] Easter Sunday. Best weekend trip ever!! The service was fantastic! Every staff member was friendly and helpful. The room was well furnished and comfortable, with all of the extra touches such as a robe in a lighted closet, bathroom phone and scale. Here's an example: I had forgotten my tie and was going to purchase one to get by in the gift shop, but the shop had not yet opened and I proceeded […] to check out. The lady at the front desk was aware of my situation and while I was waiting for the valet to bring my car, a staff member came up and presented me with a tie. Mehr

Our stay was great. Food was excellent along with hotel personnel being very nice/polite. Will definitely come back. Perfect location for Houston Astros ballgames.

The hotel was one of the best I stayed in 5 star. Just the room AC was not working that great. I'm sure they will work on it. I would stay again

Location was across street from the ballpark. We saw 9 games on Friday thru Sunday. Food was enjoyable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We left a bag in our car and staff retrieved it quickly. Second time staying at the Inn and will return.

One of the best bargains available. Clean, large comfortable rooms, free wireless, large desk for business traveler, robe and the food at the hotel isn't bad either. Highly recommended.

Great hotel overall. Very clean and the service is top-notch. I would complain that they didn't have my reservation in their system so check-in took a very long time.

We were only there for an overnight stay, but everything was wonderful. I had business in the middle of downtown and the hotel was around the corner. Would have walked, but it rained.

Not a big sports fan so I wasn't expecting this hotel to thrill and delight... but it did!

Only can imagine how great the place is if your staying and going to a baseball game. I was on business and it worked very well. Valet parking is worth the $. Service in dining area was great. big rooms.

Brief stay at this hotel while attending a conference at the convention center. Since this was the Inn at the Ballpark, the decor was baseball themed. Very charming and comfortable. Excellent, attentive staff.

I've stayed here on more than a few occasions and have neve been disappointed. I was able to obtain and excellent rate through hotels.com; however, it took about 20 minutes on hold with the manager at the hotel to work out their "Best Rate Guarantee". After all was said and done, the manager I spoke with was very helpful and offered to upgrade our room […] to a suite. The shuttle service to the theatre district was prompt; my only complaint was the apparent lack of suspension on the van (shuttle). It was quite a rough ride, but very convenient to be dropped off at the entrance to the Hobby Center at 7:25 for the 7:30 performance! The shuttle service was a life saver! Room service made a mistake on my order; however, they were very eager to correct the order and there were no further problems. My only complaint is the apparent lack of accessible coffee and accompaniments. I had to go downstairs to the restaraunt and wait for one of the two waitstaff working in the packed cafe to refill the one cream pitcher and the only cups they had available were small styrofoam cups. Furthermore, when the creamer was finally refilled, the waiter insisted on pouring out the small servings to all of us in line... There were about 5 of us just waiting for cream. Perhaps there could be a better system in place! This is a wonderful gem of a hotel and I'm sure I will be back many more times! Mehr

Staff is the friendliest around. Easy check in/out. Reasonable prices and the folks at the cafe/bar are great. Clean rooms and a stroll across the street to Minute Maid. We'll definitely stay here again.

This hotel has that small luxury hotel feel. It is a great place if you need to be close to the Convention Center, Minute Maid Park, Discovery Green. It would be great for anyone visiting town -- most everything is in walking distance

I was in Houston for a conference at the Brown Convention Center and the Inn at Ballpark was very convenient. Actually, you can go pretty much anywhere in downtown Houston from it. Also, it was a very good deal for the money I paid, being half as expensive as the conference hotel (Hilton).

Excellent service!!! I had requested a room facing Texas Ave so that my son & I could view the Thanksgiving Day Parade from our room & was accommodated quite nicely. Room service was exceptional. Front desk & vallet also provide the friendliest of service.

Very nice hotel that is within walking distance to George Brown Convention Center. Restaurant was good and open late. Good service from staff whenever needed.

Inn at the Ballpark is less kitschy than the name might make you think, much nicer and more comfortable than the price might make you think, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. This hotel exceeded my expectations on every level.

We were pleasantly surprised. The hotel was extremely comfortable and elegant. Loved the lighted makeup mirror and bench seat in our bathroom. We will stay here again if we are traveling in the Houston area again.

Convenient to downtown, well maintained, walk across the street to Vic & Anthony's, good open bar/eating area - loved it, and will definitely stay there again...

Overall, a Very Nice place to stay. Not much to offer in terms of walking distance for things to do, unless you're there for a game, but great for a 1 night trip if the downtown Houston area is suitable. They could be a bit more lenient on a late checkout; they offerred 11:30 AM, 1/2 hr extension, but they should at least offer 1 hr as a courtesy, […] especially since checkin is not till 4 PM. Save the valet parking expense and park across the street, which is free after 6 PM till 7AM the next morning, then a cheap hourly rate after that. Mehr
