Stay was good, quiet.

Didn't have hot water for my showers in the morning. Lobby person has to run water for 20 minutes to have any chance of getting hot water. It made my stay awful. They need to address this problem.

We left our windows open in hopes to get the smell out, and it didnt work. Smelt like someone had left a roast in the vents. Came home from Flames game at 12:00am and the front desk guy started asking us to get a wake up call so we could go drink the blood of Jesus at church the next morning. Very persistant. Kind of creepy.

Downtown location - a bit far from Foothills Hospital, but point-to-point transit options are available (with some planning) or a short taxi ride away. One of the front desk staff was a bit rude with respect to my early check-in, despite me having made previous arrangements with the manager the night before. Elevators are a bit narrow.

I am a light sleeper so when I checked in I asked for a room in a quieter area or the top floor. They said top floors are smoking rooms so I probably don't want that. Can you believe it??? Smokers get the best rooms in his hotel. I got the 2nd-from-top floor, right underneath the smoking rooms. Their smoke travels down and you can smell it in your room. […] Very unpleasant. Needless to say, I got a sore throat from all the smoke and I didn't get much sleep because the person above me was walking around loudly at 2am. Walls and ceilings are paper-thin. You can hear people in the hallway and people above and beside you. Appliances are super outdated, good thing they all still work. Bottom-line: Great if you are a smoker. I would never rent at this hotel again. Mehr

Lobby/Service - Lobby is small and outdated. Service is okay. I was quickly given a room. Not much to say here. Rooms - needs upgrading. Old appliances look like they're from the 80s. They all work though. They keep their rooms warm - sometimes a little too hot. There is no restaurant in the hotel, but there is a Subway//Mac's across the street. Nice big rooms with full kitchen in the heart of downtown Calgary. I had a one bedroom and it was a really roomy suite, great value for the money.

It was sufficient. But for the same price the hotel Arts is much better.

The furniture and decor are older (probably from the 90s) but are well maintained. The full kitchen is nice and the suites are larger than the usual hotel shoe box. One negative is that the air conditioner/heater in the bed room turns on and off throughout the night. If you are a light sleeper, this may bother you.

Was according to my expectation, all the amenities to spend a weekend away from home. Don't hesitate to book it...

Comfortable. Friendly staff. Great location.

This is an ok hotel. The front desk was very nice to me. The structure is a bit old. Overall I will say that this is an ok place to be in downtown Calgary

Very good stay.

The Regency Suites Hotel, Calgary, is a little tired to look at on the outside but the room was incredibly spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed. I was there for business and its location to the city centre was ideal. There was a nice breakfast cafe just down the road. Staff were helpful and very friendly. Convenient, affordable, clean, fairly quiet but dated in respect to furnishings and fixtures. Recommend for the price but certainly not a Delta Bow Valley but certainly not a Delta Bow Valley price. Staff are friendly and helpful and if looking for a place in the downtown office area at an affordable cost, this place can do the trick.

Good location in downtown with easy access to the airport and local transport services. Clean but basic rooms.

It is a convenient and comfort hotel and locates near the airport shutter stop. City center is in a walking distance.

Great location. Minutes fro the Zoo, Princess Park, restaurants. Very helpful staff at front desk. We were traveling with a 2 year old so we loved having a seperate bedroom. This was our second stay in this hotel and we will stay again.

Enjoyed the quietness even though being right in heart of the City. Liked all the amenities in the area. Prince Island park was georgeous! My husband REALLY liked having Tims near by ! We would definately stay at The Regency again when in Calgary.

Really happy finding this little gem! Will be staying there again next time I stay in Calgary!!

I liked this hotel, it does need a little maintenance since it is old however location was great! The staff were REALLY helpful and it was a all round great experience staying there

Room was a little dark, excellent customer service and if you are planning on not eating out, this is the hotel for you! Had a full kitchen which I was not expecting, this made it seem like I was home rather than on vacation for me!

This hotel was mediocre. Most things were fine, but the worst was the staff; they simply had no idea what they were doing and couldn't answer questions. They messed up my room twice and couldn't seem to get my room number straight. When visitors came, they were calling incorrect room numbers in an attempt to locate me. My guests ended up leaving because […] they couldn't call the proper room! Overall, the attitude of staff was rude and uninviting. For the price, you get a good location and a decent room, but that's about as far as it goes. If customer service is not an important factor in your hotel choice, by all means, go hard! Mehr

Conveniently located to center of downtown and public transportation. Appointments are dated, but overall clean and comfortable.

The room is clean and spacious. The building is a concrete building, so you can bearly hear anything from outside your room. Resonable price. One downside is that you have to pay parking extra.

It was a nice hotel, good sized room with a decent sized kitchen in suite. Only bad thing i can really think of was the remote operated the cable box only and not the tv so you had to get up to turn it on or off or adjust the volume. Otherwise friendly staff and an overall great experience, would definitely stay there again.

This hotel is old but clean and very convenient located. It takes just 15 minutes to walk to most interesting places in Calgary. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you just need a place to sleep and to have all attractions nearby it is the right choice.

Colors a bit too dark giving a gloomy impression on a winter night. Rate was OK considering short notice for a trip. Relatively clean. Dishes, especially glasses could use some hand washing and spot removal. Towels had no smell at all which was weird. How expensive is a sheet of a softener/refresher? Fridge door opened from right instead from left. […] TV remote did not work properly. Speedy check in and out due to online reservation and payment. Would I go again? For a business trip-yes (superb location), for a family visit-probably no. Mehr

This hotel was excellent for the price. The kitchen was an unexpected surprise. The laundry facilities within the hotel were perfect for us to use, since Calgary was a stop over on a long trip. The location was excellent to walk around the City. Great value for the price.

The location is perfect if you need to be downtown. It's an older building but is maintained reasonably well. The price was very reasonable during our stay. The kitchen is a great addition and is so handy. The only three negatives, although not super serious, is that there had been a caesar salad left in our fridge so it was not a good welcome. The […] toaster burnt the toast, even set at the lowest setting. And lastly, the exercise equipment is a bit old. Overall, good value for your dollar and I would stay there again. Mehr

Hotel is located in a wonderful downtown. I agree that rates are pretty competitive but they can make it a much better place to stay. Staff is very cooperative. Few things that I was expecting are: Cleanliness More facilities like jacuzi, sona, pool etc Free Wifi

Bonne situation, très bon rapport qualité prix, mais hotel vieillissant.

Très bon rapport qualité-prix, pour une suite, en plein centre, proche d'un parc, et du tramway et du SAFEWAY pour les courses. Un personnel à la réception, très serviable. Pour le ménage, vous laissez vos consignes, et tout se passe bien. Si vous prolongez votre séjour, par réservation en ligne, la réception gère avec difficulté la situation: on ne […] sait qu'au dernier moment s'il faut changer de suite... soit entre 11 heures am et 15 H pm on attend.la décision ....DOMMAGE. Jag hade en mycket trevlig vistelse, rummet var rent och fint!Bekväm säng! Och personalen var mycket trevlig! Väl värt ett besök!! Ligger mycket centralt och lätt att hitta hit! om du undrade något så var det bara att fråga personalen, som var där hela tiden!
