Empfehlenswertes Hotel für den Boston-Aufenthalt. Sauberes Zimmer, freundliches Personal, reichhaltiges Frühstück (leider wie allzuoft in einem viel zu kleinen Raum für so viele Gäste). Getränke im Hotel relativ günstig (Flasche Cola kostet 1,50$). Lage neben einem Expressway (haben wir aber nicht als störend empfunden; gute Fenster). In der Nähe des Hotels gibt es ein Einkaufszentrum. Fittnesraum "übersichtlich" aber ganz ok.

"Hotel mit gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis"
Wir waren 4 Nächte im Hotel Onyx und fanden es optimal gelegen, gut ausgestattet und unser Zimmer war zwar nicht riesen groß aber platztechnisch ausreichend und sauber. Das Personal war freundlich. Zu Fuß nach Boston down town zu kommen war kein Problem. Nur das Frühstück haben wir nicht im Hotel eingenommen, da dieser Bereich dunkel und viel zu kalt […] war. "Gutes Hotel"
Hotel liegt sehr günstig zum Market und zum Hafen. Wir, Familie mit Kind konnten alles zu Fuß gut erreichen. Zimmer sind klein aber ordentlich. Personal sehr freundlich.

Zimmer sind eher nur für 2 Personen geeignet; Hatten Einblick in Zimmer Deluex mit einem Kingsizebett und in ein Zimmer mit 2 Queenssizebetten (ca. 140 cm breit); Ideale Lage im Zentrum von Boston gleich beim Basketball- und Eishockeystadion; 5 Minuten zur U-Bahn, 10 Mintuten zur Pub-Meile und etlichen Essensmöglichkeiten; zwei Preise beim Frühstück […] kalt (recht klein ohne Käse oder Schinken) oder Frühstück warm (dafür gibt´s Speck und Eier); gleich gegenüber ist ein Cafe/Frühstückslokal günstig/gut/große Auswahl. "very good - cool vibe, great location"
The room was small, but had a fun, funky vibe to it. My sons (17 and 10) enjoyed the animal print bathrobes. It was clean. Location was super convenient. We walked everywhere.
Very nice hotel. Very clean. No coffee maker in the room, but they do offer free coffee in the lobby.

Great I found the staff were great anything u ask them they would get u the infor. Also friendly, always trying to make sure u were looked after. Loved Lauren. Very close to the Gardens. Clean & felt like a safe area.

"Too bloody noisy."
This hotel is actually pretty nice - unless you plan on sleeping. Too bad, I liked everything else.
I am so sorry that the street noise crept into the hotel and kept you up while at the hotel. Being that we are in downtown Boston, its not always easy to filter that noise, but we do offer ear plugs for our guests if they want to drown out those urbran rythyms. Thanks,

"Weekend trip to watch the Celtics"
We recently took a quick trip up to Boston to watch the Celtics play the Knicks. Neither of us knew anything about Boston, so we just researched hotels within the TD Garden neighborhood. Onyx Hotel was a great choice! Located within a block of the Garden! Tons of pubs and restaurants also near buy. And many other neighborhoods such as Paul Revere's […] house, the Red Auerbach statue, etc within walking distance. We usually stay at cheaper hotels when we go on vacation, and while the Onyx was pricer then what we usually would pay, it was worth it. The room was just big enough, the bathroom was large, bed was comfortable, and each of us had leopard print bath robes to lounge around in after showering. The front desk was extremely helpful! Calling cabs for us, recommending great places to eat, and shop. When we travel to see the Celtics play in Boston again, I would definitely book this hotel again! Mehr

"The Onyx in Boston - a pleasant surprise"
We stayed at the Onyx for one night as we had an appointment nearby early the next morning. The customer service was fantastic and the room more than met our expectations. Although we did not have pets with us we were delighted by the doggy bowls and welcome signs set up for incoming pets in the front lobby. So cute! We will definitely stay here ag […] ain. Mehr

Good hotel - but our car got a ticket while waiting for the Valet parking to move our car. It was a bit annoying, especially because the hotel used a lot of energy explaining why it was not their fault...it was only $25 but it was annoying.

"Great Hotel"
This hotel is in such a great location! We were able to walk to the garden for a Bruins game and the next morning walked to Fanueil Hall. Would definetely stay here again. The staff could not be more friendly & accomodating. Only draw back was the expensive valet parking.

The hotel is one of the cleanest I've stayed at. The staff was extremely nice and check-in was a breeze. Our room hear wasn't working and all it took was one call tot he front desk and we were moved within 5 minutes. Everything was wonderful, mostly the beds! We've stayed here a few times to see the Celtics play, only a few minute walk to TD Garden. […] After a loss, my husband and I went to the hotel bar and had a great time with our bartender, Nate. What a great guy with a lot of tips about restaurants and nightlife in the city! I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Boston!! Mehr

THIS HOTEL IS PERFECTLY PRICED, CONVENIENT TO THE TD BANK NORTH GARDEN AND STAFF IS WONDERFUL. THE BEDS ARE COMFORTABLE, THE BAR IS EXCELLEENT, STAFF IS SO NICE, THE FOOD SERVICE IS 24 HR IN ROOM, AND IF YOU FORGOT ANTYTHING THEY GIVE IT TO YOU OR GO GET IT. "GREAT STAFF"
I usually don't write reviews even when the service is bad. However, this service was Great. My girlfriend and i got back to the hotel about 3am after a great night in the city. We walk into the lobby and the Manager asked if we would want a free bottle of wine. Of course we accepted it:) He proceeds to asked if we needed anything else. My girlfriend […] asked if the kitchen was open. Of course at that late hour it wasn't. He asked what would you like. She tells him french fries. He says no problem, go to your room and I will bring them up. 5 mins later he shows up with nice crispy fries. Outstanding service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mehr

Let me start by saying the hotel isn't bad, but it's not worth the price. For the amount I paid, I wasn't at all impressed. The rooms were small and difficult for 2 adults to stay in. The furnishings seemed heavily used and worn and the boutique feel was only in the faux items. I could have stayed in a much nicer hotel for the amount I spent, but I […] thought I was staying in a chic boutique hotel that had personalized service and great accomodations. Again, not a bad hotel, but I was very disappointed in the expectations that were set. I wouldn't stay here again unless it was on a big sale. Mehr

We visited Boston for a quick anniversary weekend and chose the Onyx based on reviews from TripAdvisor. All the good reviews were spot on. The staff were very helpful with directions and recommendations. The rooms were clean and the bed was great! Prime location allowed you to walk almost anywhere. I plan to stay again for our next visit.

My husband and I loved our room at the Onyx. Great location near the North End and Haymarket entrance to the T. Very clean room and modern bathroom with plenty of room for two. Comfy bed with nice linens and comforter. Would definitely stay here again.

This Hotel was very cute and had a boutique feel. It was in the perfect location, right next to the subway and close to the Quincy Market area. When we checked in the receptionist were very nice. Hotel staff at the Onyx were awsome. Helpful on all levels and went out of there way to accomodate us. My husband asked about the wine which was complimentary in the evening. Staff did not know the answer but quickly found it out and gave him a bottle as well. They are located close to all attractions in the Boston area; most were walking distance. The onyx was okay but the nine zero hotel is far better. Staff was nice but overall it's not worth what you end up paying.

Stayed here for 5 nights in June 2011, staff are welcoming and very helpful. The hotel is spotless and our room was fantastic. The wine reception allows all guests to share tips on places to visit.
