sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis,sehr schöne Zimmer,ruhige Lage, gutes Frühstücksbuffet. Zum Zentrum benötigt man ein Taxi oder Mietwagen. Zum Strand kann man laufen ca.10 min.,muss man sich aber erklären lassen( über den Golfplatz).

Sehr ruhiges Hotel, inmitten einer privaten Wohnanlage und von einer Golfanlage umgeben. Man kann gut entspannen. Es herrscht kein All-Inclusive-Feeling. Das Hotel ist nicht in Strandnähe. Der Fußweg beträgt ca. 15-20 min durch eine sichere und angenehme Wohnanlage. Die Küche der Ambassador-Suite war im amerikanischen Stil bestens ausgestattet, jedoch […] fehlten das nötige Kochgeschirr und Besteck. Maintenance is almost non existent in this resort .Ac was out two - three times in our room.housekeeping was poor ,leaky roofs everywhere .Pool was very nice and they did a good job of keeping it clean. The hotel is located in a private & secure neighbourhood, 15mins walk to the beach. I was positively surprised how nice the hotel was. Great lobby with a tropical look and the room I was in was just fantastic - good size bedroom with a specious living room, kitchen area and a balcony. this hotel is very good. they have great breakfast, great pool you can swim in the pool and also drink, eat there. but one problem is it's little bit far form the downtown. if you want to go "cocobongo" or see downtown you have to take a taxi. it cost 70 or 90 peso.(one way). but everything is good.!!

Hotel is little bit far away from pdc centrum and beach but taxi is cheap and we walk to centrum / beach on morning and come back with taxi. 20-25min walk in morning is just good for your health. Breakfast was good but birds was not so nice, don't leave your breakfast alone to board or you will deal it with birds.

The Hacienda Vista Real Resort is a jewel of a hotel. It is located in a very exclusive part of town called the Playacar, which is a gated community in Playa del Carmen. I recently had the pleasure of staying at the hacienda for 26 nights and it is a lovely Hotel, although it is beginning to show its age here and there. We had an Ambassador suite, which is huge and almost like renting a full house for your holiday stay. The standard rooms look a little on the cramped side although probably would be okay for a night […] or two. Regarding some previous reviews, i can confirm there is no spa ( permanently closed since new management took over ), no shuttle to the beaches ( 25 minutes walk, or taxi ) and no services after about 5pm ( restaurant or poolside bar ). The suites seem to vary in kitchen facilities; cookers, microwaves,dishwashers and washing machines do not seem to available in full in every suite. Also, the fully equipped kitchen is not quite true- utensils,pots and pans, knives and forks, cups etc are fairly basic and not abundant. In fact, our kitchen needed a makeover to be honest as all the fittings were showing their age. Also, on arrival the promised 38 inch tv in the lounge was nowhere to be seen and following an enquiry at reception, a tv was produced 24 hours later but much smaller in size. The style of the hotel is quite beautiful and unlike any other we have stayed in. The architecture is stunning with columns, arches, marble floors, ochre coloured walls, lots of ironwork etc. A mexican hacienda it must be. And the gardens are much more mature now, compared to some early photos. Views from the balconies are negligible because the trees and so on are now taller than the hotel and are quite dense so its difficult to see very much. We found all the staff very helpful and friendly. The pool area is charming, and breakast is served here each morning on the terrace between the pool and the lake. You get lots of bird and turtle company every day ! There's a wide range of hot and cold foods on offer and the hot food seems to change daily on a 7 day rota. Beautiful hotel very friendly and efficient staff,great breakfast buffet. The only negative is that the location is not close to the beach but we were allowed to access the beach from the Indigo beach club. We had a car so did not mind the distance. Rooms are huge !

beautiful condo hotel on the golf course in playa del carmen. rental car recommended. the quality of the accommodation and ambiance make it worth the 5 dollar taxi ride to town or beach. it is just a lovely place. nice staff. the only little complaint is they never heat the hot tub.

After the fews day at Playacar...I know where I will gladly go back!! Wow! Everyone was concerned when we flew to Cancun and rented a car. It was a great decision. We had no trouble getting around from Chichen Itza, Playa Del Carmen - though the boat to Cozumel that you put the car on could have been better - timing and convenience. This hotel is nice.it is in the playacar that is like a villa park.it is quiet and safe, near the beach.0

We loved the Hotel. It is set in beautiful surroundings and a short walk to Playa. The room was furnished nicely. I did feel though that they should perhaps use solar panels to heat the pool as it was very cold and we did not even get ourselves in to enjoy it. It is surrounded by tall tropical trees and also finds itself in the shade of the bar palapa. […] Very beautiful to look at but there is no way you would find yourself swimming up to the bar and sitting in the shade drinking a cool drink! We were there in the winter but still with 80 degree days it would have been nice to cool down the pool. It is the focal point of the hotel and takes up a large part of the real estate so I am surprised that they do not heat it. Otherwise, the staff was very friendly and helpful and the grounds are kept up well. Mehr

We stayed at this hoel one night before and two nights after a week at a resort location and loved it. It had a small pool, but as it was late November, it was a bit cool anyway. The first night we were on the first floor level, and in the evening found some little inch worms (animalitos) coming under the door. We called the front desk and they immediately […] came and sprayed and largely look care of the issue. The two nights we were on the third floor and had no issues, so I would recommend asking for a second or third floor room. We were travelling with my father-an-law so had the 2 BR royal suite. It had a full living room dining area and kitchen, but the kitchen was not very well equipped, but I expect if you wanted to cook more, they would find you what you needed. We had a rental car and were very comfortable leaving in the hotel's free parking lot. We did a day trip to Coba - amazing. We also spent a day at Xcaret which was great. The evening show was fantastic - 2 hours and covered from early Mayan dances and games to current with dances and songs from all the different states of Mexico. The evening meal at the show was OK but not great. I didn't realize you could attend the show without buying the dinner, so I would eat before at one of the many venues there. It is also quite close to the "5th avenue" but I feel a bit long to walk, although a number of other posters have said it was ok. We ate at La Parrilla twice - excellent. Their full breakfast was OK. Eggs/omlettes cooked to order with various pastries, fruits, yogurt, cold cereal, and assorted Mexican breakfast foods. All service, luggage assistance, front desk, waiter at breakfast were great. I enabled myself to take a Deluxe studio, since there was an offer on hotels.com. Wouah! Really big room, huge and very comfortable bed and the must... a bubble bath! Really nice and calm area even though you'll need to walk about 20 min to reach Playa del Carmen. The breakfast was great (compared to other places I've been in the surroundings). For the price it was a fine but there were a few things that need improvement. Finding the resort was very difficult, even after plenty of research. I suggest staying on the highway and look for one of the two large “PLAYACAR” signs on the left. After entering the “PLAYACAR” gate look for the xoxo store, salon, and restaurant, the second gate is right […] next to it. After the second gate turn left then right. There doesn’t seem to be much down the road but look for the pyramid shaped building on the left and the parking lot is to the right. When we arrived the spa was not open and the front water area was not working. The room was very nice and clean upon arrival, but the rooms were not cleaned as well on the following days and the rooms do need to be aired out during the day to avoid a musty smell. Other than the mornings during the free buffet the hotel did not have a lot of traffic. If you want a lot of activity, this is not the place for you. The pool was nice but it was a little chilly and the “Jacuzzi” was not heated but rather just a small pool. The food was okay. The service wasn’t good, even when we were the only ones there. The mixed drinks were good but after two beers they had run out. There isn’t an evening meal option and the French restaurant that delivers wasn’t great and Pizza Hut was a hassle to order from and got the order wrong. I suggest going to town to eat. All the staff were really nice. It is only about 20 minutes to walk to 5th avenue. The location and price of this resort were the best points. It was nice that they had free onsite parking so we were able to take day trips on our own. I don’t recommend driving through town, but the surrounding areas weren’t bad. Mehr

The interiors of the hotel was great, better than expected and the free breakfast was very good and hot.

hotel was far from downtown. isolated. also was very empty. wi fi worked fine. wife was bitten by bed bugs, notified front desk. breakfast was okay. birds seemed to overtake the eating area. trying to take your food. could only stay one night and left to different hotel. room 211-1 had rusy nails in shower where a shelf for soap use to be.

A palatial hotel located somewhere near Playa del Carmen. Biggest complaint about this hotel was that it was difficult to find. Playacar is a sort of subdivision near Playa del Carmen with no clear signage leading you there. And since almost all the real estate in the area is owned by 'tourist's' or time share types none of the locals know the area, […] so getting directions is challenging. If you can find it, it is extremely nice, very stylish and comfortable. Also, it oddly has no elevators? just ramps leading to the upper floors. Mehr

PRO: The Hotel is located in a quiet residential neighborhood just outside of the main attractions. Walking distance from hotel to 5th Avenue is about 20 minutes on well lit streets. So if one is willing to walk and enjoys quiet atmosphere, this is the place. Breakfast is served by their small pool but the food is nothing to write home about. ...I absolutely loved staying here. Staff were friendly, the downstairs pool area and reception were beautiful. Would definitely stay again. However, the building housing the gym and rooftop pool has been totally neglected - I don't know whether it's being renovated but, in looking for the gym, I found myself looking around areas that are probably […] unsafe and out of bounds for guests. The gym hadn't been used in ages, nor had the rooftop swimming pool. A surprise and a disappointment as both are fantastic selling points for the hotel. I wouldn't have minded if I had been told they were out of use but I was allowed to wander around the debris with no problem at all. But this was made up for by the rest of the hotel and the fantastic service offered. Staff should be told they can stand up to guests - some vile, drunk Americans screamed abuse at staff, who should have just told them to shove it rather than be apologetic! Mehr

Little too far from action for me but great for golfers or families. Great breakfast too!

The hotel was an unexpected find - clean, inexpensive and quiet. Breakfast was included and the buffet was varied and tasty. It isn't located near the beach so don't expect to stumble out onto the sands of Playa del Carmen and it was tricky to negotiate the retorno's and streets of Playacar at night the first time. If however, you want something a […] bit grown up, out of the way and safe this is it. It has a nice swimming pool overlooking the golf course and it's about a 15-20 minute walk into Playa del Carmen itself. There is however, no evening meal served so eat out before you come back in the evening and the amazing looking spa next door was not open for business which was a shame. Coming in late 9pm tired and a little fatigued. The upgrade was worth the extra pesco's. The breakfast buffet supberb. The walks around the golf course were met with animal life and at the hotel bonding with the turtles was fun. Quiet and yet kept busy exploring the area. nice and cozy hotel and clean

Great inexpensive place to stay in a quiet neighborhood. Sits between the greens of a golf course. Small pool. Not easy to find, but a 15 minute walk to the bustling Playa Del Carmen. The Spa/workout area was a bit worn and spooky. Rooms were great and so was the service.

Feb 2011. We were in a suite...lovely and large but kitchen had little or NO supplies. Best to plan not to cook in this facility. Breakfast served by hotel is great, staff is great, housekeeping could be better. Most of surrounding grounds are beautiful however the first thing you see is a large garden with a dry non-working fountain and no apparent […] attempt at repair. Also the spa next door is not owned by the hotel and is closed. The hotel is very good but the location is inconvienent, a 25 minute walk to town or a $5 taxi ride and trust me many taxi drivers have trouble finding the place. Mehr

Very clean, I was able to upgrade my room when i arrive...because the price of the room is soooo cheap when you arrive in person than if you book in advance. you can have a huge room with double balcony, a kitchen, a living room WOW

El hotel realmente hermoso, la gente que lo atiende muy predispuesta y amable. La pileta hermosa y el lugar en general muy acogedor. Lo unico que no esta demasiado bueno es la distancia a la villa, esta a una distancia aprox. de 20 cuadras, que no se hacen en 10 minutos sino en media hora, ya que no se puede pasar por el campo de golf. El espacio en el que se haya emplazado el hotel así como la disposicion de sus instalaciones hacen muy descanasada la estadía, si bien no poseen servicio de restauran a la noche, en el mismo condominio en el que se haya instalado existen opciones de lugares especialmente pequeños y con buen menú internacional.El desayuno de 10 en un entorno encantador!!!Para […] los amantes del golf la cancha lindante incita al juego. Excelente arquitectura y decoración del Arq. Legorreta falta solo mas claridad en la descripción de los diferentes tipos de habitaciones en Internet. La cocineta y refrigerador para la la Suite Ambasador. El espacio del baño es reducido y con complicada convinación de puertas En el análisis costo beneficio muy ventajoso.

Lugnt o bra hotel , tar ca 20-25 min att gå till 5e Avenyn/ strand. Om du skall gå till klubbhuset tillhörande Playacars golfbana tar det 40 min - om de ber dig hämta dig tar det 2-3 min då hotellet ligger mellan 7ans Green och 10ans tee. Kan verkligen rekommendera hotellet.

El hotel en relación costo beneficio es excelente, un poco débil su capacidad de acondicionamiento de aire, sería excelente que tuviera acceso al mar aunque se tardara unos 5 minutos llegar caminando atravesando la cancha de golf ahora no hay convenio con ellos y no se puede . La atención es excelente y su mayor fuerte es la decoración, las pinturas […] de temas indígenas y los amplios espacios, estuve en una suit ambasador con cocina y refrigerador y aun en esta categoría el baño es un pequeño pero mi impresión general fue muy buena. Het hotel is ons prima bevallen. Het is erg netjes en rustig gelegen. De voorzieningen zijn uitstekend. Het ontbijt verdient een extra pluim! Nadeel kan zijn dat het wat verder weg is van het meer bruisende leven. Wat een klein beetje tegenviel, is dat juni nog duidelijk geen hoogseizoen is waardoor er duidelijk minder bediening is.

Kvalitet på hotell servicen er det ikke noe å klage på. Dette er et hotell hvor du får høy valuta for pengene. Det eneste jeg har å sette fingeren på er avstanden inn til sentrum, som var kanskje i overkant langt. Taxi til sentrum ligger på ca 50 pesos (selvfølgelig forhandlingsbart). Hotellet er utrolig fint, med behagelige fasiliteter. Det ligger i Playacar som er "resort området" rett utenfor Playa del Carmen sentrum, som egentlig er en stor golfbane med resorter innimellom, noe som betyr utrolig fine områder med natur og eksotisk dyreliv omkring hotellet. Siden det ligger litt utenfor sentrum blir det en rolig atmostfære i og […] rundt hotellet, men det er ikke mer enn en spasertur på ca 10 min ned til sentrum og stranden, og taxi er også veldig enkelt, da den usedvanlig serviceminded resepsjonen er bemannet til enhver tid på døgnet. God standard på rom og ellers på hotellet. Frokosten er variert og deilig, med amerikansk/mexikansk buffet hver dag fra 7.30-10.30. Og trådløst internett med god dekning. De sier det bare er i lobbyen, men jeg hadde perfekt dekning på rommet og i restauranten også. Mehr
