We were very happy with the price, the existence of an exercise room and with the convenience of the free continental breakfast. Otherwise, we froze ourselves getting to the room, since the hallway windows were all out and blowing in cold air. Not surprisingly, the room was cold and needed much heating for it to be comfortable. There was not much room […] for the 4 of us (even though my daughter is only 2). The room was fair, the exercise room was cold and had only 3 machines (1 did not work), and the continental breakfast was only fair. Getting to the place was a pain. The only entrance and exit was off of 46W and you had to be in the far right lane at the right second to get in. TV didn't work for 3 days. Breakfast was ok. Cereal and pastries. You get what you pay for.

I travel for my business. I was working in NYC and just can't justify paying $250 a night to sleep. This hotel fits the bill. I have stayed here several times, it is conveniently located near the George Washington Bridge. The neighborhood is not the best and the age of the hotel is a factor. Although the hotel is older, the current owners are attempting […] to remodel the place. I have never found the hotel to be dirty, just a bit dated. The bed was very firm which doesn't suite me, but my business partner loved his bed. The television is great, with many channels. I have never tried the continental breakfast, as there is a Dunkin Donuts up the road. All in all this hotel is a work in progress, but I have never seen bugs or filth, just age. Mehr

Hotel was good. Bed and pillows comfortable but location not what hotel .com said it was. VERY difficult to locate and address does not appear on a GPS. Hotel.comm said it was 2 1/2 miles from GW bridge and more like 8 miles. Will not trust hotel.com again.

WE WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS (MOTEL) AGAIN. WE WOKE UP WITH BITES ALL OVER US. I DIDN'T SLEEP COMFORTABLE ALL NIGHT. Slept with my Leatherman opened next to me because I was scared for my safety.

First...this place is a dump... The hotel staff were not really concerned about the guest....they say that to get to the city was walking distance...sure if you dont want to get killed on route 46...hell it took 10 minutes by car, second, the location was horrific, behind the hotel was a construction site, not a pretty picture, they are skimpy with […] towels, getting in and out of the hotel is a adventure in itself, there is nothing around that area, such as restaurants or anything. the breakfast is served two feet from the front desk with a table and chair. so everyone is bungled up together. I would not stay here and I "STRONGLY" advise anyone considering it, to think twice about it. Mehr

The hotel lobby was unfinished, so it was very chill as one steeped outside the room. The door locks were not working properly. The staff were nice but not very efficient.

This hotel is perfect for the Road Warrior.

This Hotel is the worst I have ever seen. The place is Dirty like anything. The staff is only one person by the desk thats not to helpful. It looks like a hotel that should be rented by the hour. Do not stay here.

First, the address 93 Grand Ave. is not the actual address; the hotel sits on US 46. Now to the inside of the hotel. When we entered, there was a strong smell of smoke and no elevator (we we on the 2nd floor and had luggage). The first room had mold in the ceiling of the bathroom so we were moved to another room. This room smelled of smoke as well. […] The rooms were VERY small with 2 queen beds. The bed I slept in was right up against the opening to the bathroom so my room mate had to almost climb across the bed to get into the bathroom. The online info for this hotel needs to be re-vamped. I think it was not bad for the price, yet its location was burdensome. Since there were jersey walls in the middle of the road, you had to drive 5 minutes the other way to make a legal U-turn to go to NYC. Moreover, there really is nothing immediately around the hotel. You have to drive a bit using that U-turn to go into the town. However, there are […] nice Korean restraunts and a spa in town. Other than the location, it wasn't too bad for the price. The room was small but the bathroom was spacious. Nice to have a microwave and refrigerator in room also. I would not go outside for very long.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. I will definitely use this hotel again.

I was very satisfied with comfort & cleaniness & very easy to get to. I only complaint is when I made the reservation the agent did the wrong date (7-15-11) instead of 7-16-11. So I had to pay a little bit more for the agents' mistake.

Great Location. No Breakfast Room....just a small lobby with a dining table right in front of reception. Feels like someone always on your shoulder. No one to refill breakfast items. Recycled food. Old Building remodelled. Just does not look right. Stay Away.

Quite far from the destination we wanted to go to, I almost get lost all the time even with a GPS, we kept on turning around several times till we reach the hotel. There are no restaurant nearby, and breakfast was not I expected. At least our room was OK and the aircon was cold and good. Found some bugs, and killed them. That's it.

it was a good deal for the price... free parking and close to the nj turnpike.

The room was very small and the rate paid was too much. The area for eating was just two chairs right in front of the check in desk. This hotel was not too nuch higher than a hotel you would expect to encounter in a poor neighborhood.

Needed a room for the night after a detour brought us in this direction. Keep on movin' and stay elsewhere! Avoid at all costs!!!!!!!!

Management don't have sense of security as backdoors are open 24hrs, my bathroom is leakibg water from under tub and breakfast is just for the sake of haveng to said that they have something.....

Room extremely small. Bad access to hotel from highway. Free continentail breakfast poor. Customer service very poor.

The location of this hotel is literally right off a highway. If you have a car the location still might be tediace to get to. But if you are coming from the city and taking a bus in and out, it is near impossible to get to by foot and you have to go on an actual highway. We stayed two years ago and since then they seemed to have remodeled the rooms. It is a clean hotel and the room was fine. If your used to a Hampton this is not for you...the Hampton is down the road for double the price. Do not be worried about the area. It is fine and I did not give it a thought. It is very convenient to the turnpike and a short trip […] down to the Lincoln tunnel if your visiting the city. As you may know if you go during rush hour it will take a while. Breakfast at the hotel is very basic, coffee, juice, and a donuts. We will stay again if we return to the city. Mehr

I was a bit skeptical before arriving at the hotel, because the reviews were so-so, but the hotel turned out to be great. Tidy room, clean bathroom, looked like it was recently remodeled, friendly staff, free parking, multiple locks on the hotel door, only a 15 minute drive to Time Square, etc. The surrounding neighborhood is very dilapidated, but the […] hotel is in great condition. Kind of hard to find initially. We only stayed 1 night, but I would definitely stay here again.. I would recommend this place to friends and family looking for good quality for a low price. Mehr

Although I stayed in a non-smoking room, it still smelled a bit musty and the condition of the paint and walls wasn't appealing. Internet would seem to cut out every few minutes for no reason but when it worked, it was speedy. Comfort of the bed and amenities was just fine however and was overall quite clean. The continental breakfast was late for […] a few of the nights I stayed there. Because the location of this hotel is quite cumbersome to get to know with no real other options of getting breakfast nearby, that was disappointing. But overall, for the price, I could definitely recommend this Days Inn location for a short stay... particularly because of it's convenience for getting to major roadways and proximity to NYC. Mehr

breckfest it was besic was expecting better breckfests

Right off the interstate, quiet, and clean. Marginally difficult to access. Stayed overnight for a morning trip into the Bronx. Continental breakfast was adequate. Would stay here again. Fit the bill for a quick overnight.

Located conveniently on highway.Not a fancy hotel but much less expensive than a NY hotels.Great for just a night or 2

The hotel was not wonderful in appearance on the outside, but the room was good for the price. I've stayed at this hotel in the past and I rented a single room. This time I needed a double and the space and size of the room was somewhat cramped, but for the price and convenience I would say it's a good bargain.
