Sehr zentral gelegen auf der Kleinseite. Ein wunderbar altes Haus in dem man sich nicht als Gast, sondern fast wie ein lieber Besuch fühlt. Sehr rührige und herzliche Besitzerin. Jederzeit wieder.

Im Hotel gibt es kein Mittag-/Abendrestaurant, im Umkreis von vier Häuserblocks gibt es jedoch zahlreiche Restaurants.
Im Zentrum gibt es neben Fitness-Clubs, in denen Aerobic- und Yogakurse und manchmal auch Hallenplätze für Rückschlagsportarten angeboten werden, wenige Freizeitaktivitäten. Im Winter wird auf dem Altstädter Ring eine Eislauffläche aufgebaut. Entlang der Moldau wurden Lauf-/Spazierwege angelegt, und im Sommer können auf dem Fluss Ruderboote gemietet werden. Auf der anderen Flußseite (Westseite) befindet sich der Petřín (Laurenziberg), der von der Kleinseite (Malá Strana) mit einer Seilbahn zu erreichen ist. Hier finden Besucher verschiedene Parks, in denen man wunderbar spazieren gehen, joggen und Rad fahren kann.

Die historischen Gebäude im Herzen des Altstadtviertels Stare Mesto sind sehr gut erhalten. Der Hauptanziehungspunkt ist der gepflasterte Hauptplatz, auf dem sich das Jan Hus Monument, das Altstädter Rathaus mit seiner Astronomischen Uhr und die gotischen Kirchtürme der Teynkirche befinden. Die Karlsbrücke mit ihrer Galerie voller Heiligenstatuen verbindet die Altstadt mit dem Viertel Mala Strana.

Der Service und die Sauberkeit waren top. Ansonsten würde der Einrichtung hier und da eine Renovierung gut tun. Vom Baden haben wir Abstand genommen, da das eingelaufene Wasser braun getrübt war. Die Umgebung wirkt etwas düster - allerdings sind es nur 2 Minuten zu Fuß zur Altstadt.
"Gute Lage zum guten Preis"
Es hat uns sehr gut dort gefallen, weil man sich in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Zentrum befindet. Wir haben nur einmal ein Auto gebraucht, um in das Designer-Outlet (etwas außerhalb gelegen) gefahren sind. Ansonsten sind wir nur zu Fuß unterwegs gewesen.

Hotel ist sehr gut vom Bahnhof zu Fuss zu erreichen und auch zum Zentrum ist nicht weit entfernt. Zimmer sind sauber und sind standardmäßig eingerichtet. Frühstücksbuffet war sehr reichhaltig und frisch.
"Gute Lage zum Zentrum, jedoch ziemlich laut"
Das Hotel liegt in guter Lage zum Stadtzentrum und ist nur 5 Minuten zu Fuss vom Bahnhof entfernt. Kleines Manko... die Strasse ist sehr laut. Dennoch ist für den Preis alles drin was man brauch... Klima, Heizung, Badewanne/Dusche und WLAN.

Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe des Bahnhofs und der Altstadt. Die Preise sind wirklich günstig für so ein gehobenes Hotel.

gutes Preis- Leistungsverhaeltnis. Vom Bahnhof in Fussnaehe. Trotz der angrenzenden Schnellstrasse ruhig
Das Hotel liegt nur wenige 100 Meter vom Hauptbahnhof und innerhalb von 15 ist die Innenstadt erreichbar.

"Gut gelegendes 4+ Sterne Hotel"
Gehobenes 4 Sterne Hotel und liegt am Rand des Altstadtkerns. Alle wichtigen Plätze und Shoppingmeilen in weniger als 15 Minuten zu Fuss zu erreichen. Bis zum zentralen Platz der Altstadt etwa 5-10 Minuten zu Fuß!
"Super Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis"
Wunderschönes Hotel in zentraler Lage in der Nähe des Bahnhofes mit Metro- und Tramverbindung. Zu Fuß in ca. 20-25 min. an der Karlsbrücke. Die Lage direkt an der "Stadtautobahn" bzw. im Bahnhofsviertel ist vielleicht nicht optimal, aber die Zimmer sind so gut schallisoliert und klimatisiert, dass man davon auch nachts nichts mitbekommt. Die Zimmer […] waren für 2 Erw. + 2 größere Kinder ausreichend groß und super sauber. Obwohl das 4. Bett nur ein Klappbett war, hat unser Sohn gut darauf geschlafen. Super großes, neu renoviertes Bad. Sehr guter kostenloser Internet-Empfang auf dem Zimmer. Viel Stauraum in den Schränken. Leider nur ZDF, Sportprogramm, Deutsche Welle und Nickelodeon als deutschsprachige Fernsehprogramme. Nettes Personal. Frühstücksbuffet nicht allzu abwechslungsreich, aber lecker. Parkmöglichkeiten gegenüber auf bewachtem Parkplatz, leider mit ca. 21 Euro/Tag relativ teurer, aber für Prag wohl normal. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis des Hotels ist für Prag wirklich sehr gut und wir würden es jederzeit wieder buchen. Mehr

Das Hotel ist - auch mit Gepäck - in wenigen Minuten vom Bahnhof zu Fuss erreichbar. Der schnellste Weg geht direkt durch einen schőnen Park. Das Hotel liegt am Rand der Altstadt und ist vom Bahnhof aus zu Fuß leicht erreichbar und auch der Gehweg zum Zentrum der Altstadt beträgt weniger als 15 Minuten. Erwähnenswert ist jedoch dass eine Art Stadtautobahn die Grenze zur Altstadt bildet und das Hotel sich in unmittelbarer Nähe befindet und der Ausblick vom Zimmer nicht unbedingt der Beste […] ist. Der Lärmfaktor ist jedoch nicht sonderlich hoch. Das Zimmer war geräumig und sehr sauber, das Personal freundlich, die Auswahl beim Frühstücksbuffet auch für mich als Fleischverweigerer absolut zufriedenstellend. Alles in allem ist dieses Hotel, auch auf Grund des wirklich guten Preis - Leistungsverhältnisses, sehr empfehlenswert. Mehr

Good location, close to the station and the sights. Nice bar and comfortable rooms that were very clean. Breakfast was nothing special, but sets you up for a day of walking/sightseeing The price was good and we would stay here again.

Rooms were cramped and not properly cleaned. Reception services were analog and slow. Breakfast was ok and free Wifi worked well. Would not recommend it.

My stay at the Golden Tulip was very pleasant. From the outside, it doesn't look like much and the entrance looks a bit seedy. You push a button on the huge wooden door and it opens by itself like in the old TV Show the Munsters. But once inside, it's clean, the staff is very friendly. The hotel is located by the highway so there is a little bit of nosie. But besides that it was a great location. Everything was within a ten minute walk. Most of all I did like that I was able to park my car with a 24hr attendant for what I feel was a minimal fee.

The hotel is a 3 minute walk from the main train station. There is plenty to eat at the hot and cold breakfast. We booked two standard rooms facing the courtyard. The rooms were spacious and clean with modern washrooms. There is free internet service in the rooms.

Don't hesitate-Go to Prague! The hotel was fine, the desk staff all spoke english and were helpful. Stored our bags last day after checkout which was helpful. nice clean hotel, parking is across the street (East, under the highway bridge) and has a 24h attendant so i felt my car was safe, the hotel also lets the first child stay free. breakfast included hot eggs and sausages in addition to the cold stuff - fruit, yogurt, cereals, breads, and cheese/meats. the hotel does have an elevator for our heavy bags […] and everyone we contacted with from the hotel staff were always friendly and spoke excellent English. "A room without a view"
It is disappointing to have a room lower than ground level. We did request for a room on upper floors but our request was not acceded to as we were told that all family rooms (to accommodate three persons) were occupied. Hotel Staff could speak English and communicated well.
"Golden Tulip Prague"
We stayed 4 days including a weekend in early June. Facilities and staff were excellent and trams and trains were close by with a simple to use unified ticketing based on time. The immediate locality and hotel entrance were initially offputting but more than compensated for by the overall experience.

I know it's not in the middle of all the sights, but our stay involved travelling around the Czech Republic by train. Thus, the Golden Tulip was in just the right spot. Good deal on the room rate. Big clean room and big clean bathroom! The breakfast choice was also really broad and plentiful. No problems at all with the staff, who were efficient and […] helpful. I'd definitely stay there again. MAJOR WORD OF WARNING - if it's hot outside and you need to keep the windows open, you won't be able to stand the road noise if your room does not face the inner courtyard (ours did, fortunately). staff are welcoming and most helpful in every way they possibly can. hotel itself is just all round wonderful. location is as perfect as you could get as it is beside last stop (railway stn) for the airport express bus, and about five minutes walk from all the main tourist spots.

Very nice hotel not too far from Wenszels square (5min away of Powder Tower) and very close to the main station. Staff was friendly and competent. Rooms nicely clean. Our room was quiet as it was to the yard but I could imagine that having a room to the streets could be noisy as there is a speedway rather close by. TV had only news channels, movies […] only available on pay TV. Nice breakfast, though maybe an average offer for the hotel category. This Hotel is very comfortable.We stayed in a large family quadruple room, and breakfast was included. Very close to Prague main station, you can walk there if you do not have too much liggage to haul. Very close to the Old Town sqare and Clock Tower. Easy stroll down the main street Hyberneska. Prague was simply amazing with the castles, history and […] scores of souvenir shops, bohemian crystals. We did a Jazz Boat Cruise with Dinner, and it was a great experience.
